I hired Committed Contracting Sep 12 to renovate my bathroom and repair my kitchen ceiling from the shower leak. Fired them 10/16 and again on 11/12 because after two months of me continually asking for a construction timeline and estimate of the materials and labor to be done, they could never provide a professional estimate standard to any industry. They sure did want to send people to my house to start work with no defined costs though. I was clear that I had only 2 requirements: An estimate my insurance would approve, and that the job be finished before kids get out for the holiday. I fired them 11/12 when they finally sent me a quote the night before that was missing an entire job [materials and labor] for the kitchen ceiling repair.

For a bathroom renovation, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND ALPHA TILES. I hired Alpha Tiles 11/12 because they sent me an actual estimate for the bathroom renovation and the ceiling work, where the labor and material cost are clearly defined. It allowed me to add more work to the renovation because I had an accurate projection of the cost [I chose to have the electric reworked and an additional sink added]. They always provided me a new estimate anytime the project scope changed and their estimations were incredibly accurate. They were honest about the project timeline saying if they didn't have to wait on many parts, the job could be done on the 11/17, 11/23 on the long end. They communicated with me every step of the way, letting me know what materials they picked up for the day, what work they were projecting to get accomplished on construction days and if there were any unforeseen circumstances that popped up during demo or construction. They kept an insanely clean work area and were meticulous about not allowing debris outside of the work zone [I watched them vacuum and take items up and down my stairs, carefully avoiding damaging the walls or rails or carpet]. The best part is they finished everything the morning of 11/21: new electric, new vanity with two sinks, new shower and tub, all new floors, brand new paint job, AND a patched ceiling, just in time for the kids to be out of school. Can't recommend Alpha Tiles for your tiling or bathroom renovation needs enough
