Fix My Appliance was introduced to us by 2-10HBW to fix an Electrolux microwave. This company is incompetent and the techs are liars. A tech came by to collect $100 and said he will place an order for a motor for microwave turntable. The tech postponed the appointment with an excuse that he was missing a part which was in another car. Come on, how many parts does a microwave turntable need? The tech was scheduled to show up on Saturday 10-12 pm but he postponed to 2-5pm only to postponed it again to Sunday. We waited for his call all day Sunday and he was no show. When we called the tech, he said he thought he would come on Monday. On Monday he would not pick up his phone and the office denied of any appointment. We filed a complaint to 2-10 and was told by 2-10 later that FMA closed the account saying that they came by the house 4 times and we weren’t present. What a BS! The microwave was a microwave-oven combo and obviously FMA was incapable to fixing it or decided that it was not worth the time, but lying about coming by the house 4 times? For their reference, I have video records of all activities around the house and only time they ever came was the initial access event and to collect $100! This company should be avoided at all cost!

I had so much trouble with my home warranty company (HWA) but this company got my dryer issue taken care of! We were waiting on parts from HWA which they said they couldn't get. But Fix My Appliance stepped up and got the parts for me instead of making me wait any longer. I had an appointment today and the tech was in and out in 15 mins! I would highly recommend them!

If you expect a Flushmate installation person to show up and replace your recalled toilet Flushmate , don't go with this company. They no showed on me twice, no calls, no apologies. Each time I was given a 4 hour window for their arrival. That's 8 hours of my time wasted, waiting around without a result. When I called the office the people were rude, made excuses and offered no compensation as in giving me priority for a future appointment. I'm totally done with this company. If you value your time go with a different company. Flushmate is trying to find someone more reliable to install my unit. I give it Zero stars! But in order to post you must select a star.
