Shockley Electric did a great job on the electrical work for a project I was working on at my house. They responded quickly, and were prompt, professional, and knowledgeable. I live in a home from the 1940s and had a very specific update needed. They took time to understand the project I was working on, and they used their expertise to devise a plan. They showed up right on time and had a crew ready to get the job done efficiently and cleanly. It is a great thing when someone you invite into your home to do work respects your home and your time. Tyler did exactly this. It is clear to me that, in addition to having technical expertise, this company takes seriously showing respect for their customers.

Fantastic experience. They came out quickly to provide a free quote and showed up exactly on time. Analysis and quote were considerably cheaper than I expected. They added a sub panel and GFCI outlet near my pool. They also grounded my entire electrical. Work was fast and well done. Will hire again for any future electrical work!

We bought a house last year and have an older electrical system. We had some small issues and I called Shockley to come out and take a look. Christian was quick to come out and quote the job I needed done. He arrived when he said he would both for the quote and when his team came to do the work. Both he and his staff were friendly, knowledgeable and professional. They were more than willing to show me any issues they found, were able to finish the job within 4 hours and in the end for less than their original quote. They will be back out later for some additional work I wanted done and I would highly recommend their team for any electrical issues you might have.

Christian and his crew did an amazing job on our kitchen when we had it remodeled. It was heavy duty work (many new switches, plugs, lights, and rerouting the power for the oven, island, etc).

They have a professional team of experts who work quickly and efficiently. They understand the needs of the homeowner and make sure that everything in working order before they depart. Finally, they clean up after themselves... which is not always expected with some other providers.

This is the third time they have done work for us. I will definitely have them back again and highly recommend them to anyone else.

Shockley Electric amazed us again with their service. Tyler came to our home to install an EV charger in our garage and did a fantastic job. He was kind, courteous and an all around pleasure to interact with. He answered all our questions and did a great job. He also fixed our kitchen light that had stopped working (which was our fault). Christian and his team are top notch and we couldn't recommend them more!

Christian was very responsive to my request for a quote to replace a bathroom exhaust fan and subsequent texts. His pricing was reasonable. His guys, Gavin and Boots, were very friendly and professional when they came to my house and did a good job of communicating what could/could not be done. I’ll definitely call Shockley Electric the next time I need an electrician.

Christian returned my call the same day and scheduled service the following day. I had a front porch light, foyer light (13 ft high) and 3 flush mount ceiling lights replaced including two outdoor GFCI outlets. He showed up on time and he and his helper got the job done quickly. The price was reasonable and he had to put together two of the lights. Highly recommend!

All others tried to up-sell me on features or products I didn’t need. His four-man crew came out right on schedule and they completed the job in just under the estimated time. Hired Shockley and the team for a few electrical things in our first home we bought a couple of weeks ago, and I was very satisfied with the work the guys did. I was concerned about the integrity of the electrical in our house, but they did a bunch of pre-emptive checking and fixed a few things I didn't even know were wrong, for a very fair price. I will be calling back for any electrical needs!

Christian and Gavin did some great work fixing the mistakes of a previous handyman I hired to wire a stove top. Unfortunately, there were additional problems that came up which made the final price go over their initial estimate. Even still, the extra $100 I had to pay is what other electricians have charged just to show up.

I hired this company a few months ago to repair odd lighting issues throughout the house and correct the installation of a new breaker box installed by a different company.

I had other companies inspect the lighting issue and they all had different solutions, all with quotes in the tens of thousands. Shockley came in and identified the issue as a simple and quick fix. The issue disappeared after the team completed their work and the lighting works perfect now. The expertise and experience in knowing this issue, as they have seen many times before, could not be overstated. I was very impressed with Shockley Electric's knowledge of the issue and understanding of how these issues develop.

Lastly, this was leagues better than any handyman or other electrical company I have hired. As and architect, I noticed that the team was organized exactly how I have seen the best of the electricians on my projects... Master Electrician teaching apprentices, unlike other companies which may send one apprentice out.

I will be calling Shockley for all electrical needs going forward.

After calling multiple electrical companies with no luck or fully booked schedules, we finally found Shockley Electric—and we're so glad we did! They went above and beyond, even spending Christmas Eve helping us diagnose a buzzing breaker issue in our panel over the phone. Had a great experience with Shockley electric, Christian was able to get us booked quickly and Tyler was timely and professional. It’s hard to find contractors that are quick, affordable, and do a great job, but these guys hit all three. Definitely will be using them again.

We needed to replace old under-cabinet lighting in the kitchen and outdated ceiling lights throughout our house, as well as four very dated chandeliers. Christian Shockley provided a very reasonable quote, and told us that he knew the right ceiling lights to put in; all we had to do was choose replacements for the chandeliers. His crew came out a few days later and they were friendly, efficient and a pleasure to have in our home. And he was right, we love the new lighting! The under-cabinet lighting makes the kitchen look much brighter and brand new, accenting our countertops and backsplash. When we found a minor oversight after the crew left, Christian came back that afternoon and made the adjustment. Just a great experience overall and we would highly recommend Shockley Electric!

We got bids from a few providers and decided to go with Shockley to upgrade our panel. It was not cheap but it was also better pricing than some of the fancier shops with whom we spoke. It was pretty clear from my conversations with Christian and many on his team that they have really deep knowledge and, through the upgrade, they were able to correct some mistakes made by a previous provider. In summary, no frills but not shoddy / cheap. Just a solid job done well. I would definitely recommend them.

Christian and his team are fantastic. In the past year, I've used them for two separate projects (two separate houses) and they were outstanding on both. I've been renovating houses for over 20 years, and have worked with many contractors over that time period. I can comfortably say that Shockley Electric is among the best. They are professional, punctual, reasonably priced, efficient, and always looking for ways to improve the service and ensure that the job is done well.
