Very satisfied with my patio and backyard project. Upfront about what was possible and the associated costs. I felt confident with the job being done throughout the entire process. Quickly provided me quotes and quickly executed. I will use them again when I have the opportunity.

Tim and his team initially did a great job with our lawn and sowing new sod in our backyard. His team got the job done quickly, and they were reasonably priced. Unfortunately, they also redid our drainage system in the backyard, which was not done properly. There is a huge patch of grass in our backyard that does not drain well and a lot of the new grass has died. When I contacted Tim to fix the issue, he initially seemed responsive. However, when it came time to actually come evaluate the issue and fix it, I never heard back from him. Unfortunately, we had already paid him and then he ghosted us. I’d be cautious if working with his team.

Your comments and representation of the situation are inaccurate. As I said, we were very happy with your initial work. Following the completion of the project, there were still multiple patchy areas on the lawn, which you said should progressively resolve. You also stated that the back top left side of the yard should fully regrow over time. This never happened, despite reassurances from you that it needed time.

Keep in mind that all of the changes in the dry creek bed were your team's work. They also stored any extra rocks under my deck. The failure of the dry creek bed with its lack of drainage is a manifestation of your work. I assure you that no other alterations have been done in that area, and I have regular yard work performed.

I had at least 3 other contractors come out to my lawn to assess the poorly grown area in the back left, and they all told me that the issue is that it is not draining properly. For reference, I even sent you a picture and a video of the area following heavy rain, which confirmed the lack of drainage of that area. It is incorrect and inaccurate for you to blame this on changes to the property.

Despite all of this, I continued to reach out to you via text and phone calls for you to at least come out at evaluate our yard again. After multiple attempts at reaching out you with inconsistent results (no return phone calls, no text message replies, etc.), we had moved on. This was until you randomly decided to come out to our yard one day. When we tried speaking with you that day and immediately afterward, we were again left without any replies or answers. There are message timestamps that would corroborate this.

The lack of communication on your part was extremely unprofessional and resulted in the poor review. Had you kept in close communication with us throughout the process or even explained what you did in the reply above, I would've given you the benefit of the doubt. Like I said, we were overall satisfied with your work. It was the lack of follow up and poor communication after your service was completed that was the issue.

I have used CEL several times of the past 10 years for design and installation of both large and small projects. CEL is by far the best in the business. Tim is extremely knowledgeable and talented in all the many different aspects that go into creating a beautiful landscape. Tim is very trustworthy, and you can be confident that the job will be done correctly. He is a true professional in his field.

Tim and the team at Cutting Edge Landscape were great and exceeded our expectations. The scope included removing our existing deck and re-building the deck, adding a covered area with metal roof and gas fireplace. Tim was flexible and patient with our design revisions during the construction process, offered up great options and kept in communication with us during the entire build.

Working with Tim and the crews at Cutting Edge Landscape was a great experience and the result exceeded our expectations. This was a big project completely removing and existing deck and outdoor kitchen. We had great communication and Tim was very open and patient with question and any changes we wanted to make along the way. I particularly liked that his crews have worked with the company for a while so they worked well together. They were also very respectful of our home and neighbors. The quality of construction was great- in particular the hardscape pavers. Very well done and meticulous in installation. Highly recommend!
