Southern Standard did a great job cleaning up the overgrowth in my backyard jungle! It had gotten out of hand for me and they were able to get out and promptly give me a quote and then started on the project about a week or two later! Everything was done in a day and it looks fantastic. The staff was all friendly and helpful. Would definitely call on their help again if needed!

Sam and his team are doing really good job. They are hard working, detailed, nice and patient. Affordable price. And the crew listens to your requests and answers questions.

Jose and team were absolute rockstars on install day and we’re beyond impressed with how diligent they were in transforming our front yard.

Southern Standard was excellent from the start. Communication was prompt and responsive throughout the project. They removed our ivy, mulched with pine straw and pine mulch, pruned, raised and leveled stepping stones, advised re aesthetic decisions, and cleaned up. I’m very pleased with the company, the crew, and the work. Our backyard looks great!

Arrived early each day (2 day job) and very efficient crew. Ryan , Project Foreman, answered all my questions and explained all aspects of the job throughout. Said they will f/u in a couple weeks to see how the lawn is doing. Price may have been a bit higher than wanted to spend , but quality of the work is worth the extra expense! Would recommend their Services to my neighbors.

We recently bought a house and soon discovered that the backyard would turn into a pond every time it rained due to how the property was graded and lack of a drainage system. Sam came out to inspect everything a few days after I sent in my request, and had everything fixed within the week. In less than 2 days they re-graded the yard, routed the gutters to multiple drainage catch basins, installed sod, and seeded/amended an area that wasn’t even in the quote. Sam, Fernando, and Liz are great at communicating with you, and their crew is extremely efficient and professional. I’m very impressed with the work they did and will definitely recommend and use them in the future.

Working with the team at Southern Standard Landscaping was one of the best contractor experiences I've ever had. They were thorough and timeline in communication and the service on-site while doing the work was extremely good. Ryan and Sam both took the time to answer every question I had, did walkthroughs of everything I needed done to clear a 1/2 acre of jungle from the back yard, and they went out of their way to do the job - every detail accounted for. Would absolutely use them again and recommend them to everyone I know.

Could not be happier with the work done by Southern Standard! My backyard was wildly overgrown and unmanageable. They responded quickly to my inquiry, issued a quote within a couple of days and we were scheduled within 2 weeks! A great overall experience with everyone from Southern Standard Landscaping. Sam the owner was prompt and informative when we did our initial walk through. Samantha who runs the office responded to all my questions in a professional and timely manner. Jose and his team arrived on time the day of the install and did a wonderful job. Sam met the team before they started to make sure everyone knew what had to be done and the expectations of the project. Very satisfied.

I cannot say enough great things about Sam and his team. From the scoping process through completion, they were top notch. They installed a retaining wall, removed our old chain link fence and removed a massive stump. It really feels like a total background transformation.

The team showed up on time every day, communicated frequently, were very detail oriented, and left the place far better than how they found it. I would recommend them to anyone in the area!

The Southern Standard Landscaping team, led by Jose, did an excellent job installing an irrigation system and sod in my backyard. They were very efficient, worked until 8:30 pm the first night and did an excellent job in cleaning up everything when they finished the job. I would definitely recommend them!

Can’t stress enough how awesome Sam and his team are. We knew we needed to revamp our yard but weren’t sure exactly what we wanted to do. Sam came out, walked us through his vision, and worked to stay within our budget. Jose and team were meticulous about making sure every detail was perfect, and that the job was done up to standard.

Sam, Jose, Ryan and the rest of the crew did an amazing job completely transforming my front and back yards. They arrived on a Monday, walked me through what they were going to do - and by Friday the entire job was completed. I asked a lot of questions along the way, and the entire crew was very nice in answering all my questions. They cleaned up each night and made sure everything was perfect. Sam was very helpful in helping me choose the right plants and design options. Several neighbors have already come by to complement me on the landscaping. Sam has a great team and I highly recommend Southern Standard for all landscaping and hardscaping needs!
