From start to finish, Property Masters did an amazing job on our yard. Jake had a great idea for a boulder wall instead of a boring block wall. Mike and his crew were on time every day and kept us apprised of everything that was going on. They did an incredible job bringing the yard to life and cleaned everything up before they left. We now have not only a beautiful yard, but a yard that our family can enjoy for years to come. We will definitely be contacting Property Masters again when we are ready to do the back yard.

We have had a terrible experience with Property Masters (now Cumberland Landscape Group). In early spring of last year, we got several quotes to fix a drainage problem in our back yard. Property Masters' proposal differed from the others we received, but their representative (Lance Fry) seemed credible, and he assured us that they would fix our drainage problem for just under $15K.

When Property Masters finished their work, we were very skeptical because the yard looked very much like it did before we hired them. Lance assured us that the problem had been solved.

However, we continued to have the same old drainage problem we had been having before we hired Property Masters. I left several phone messages for Lance, but he never responded. Finally I contacted the office and was told that Lance was no longer with the company. I was referred to Jay Smith.

Jay visited the property when we were not home (without letting us know he was coming). When we spoke afterward, Jay insisted that the job was done right. Jay told us that we have to keep clearing out the drainage ditch every month or so to keep it flowing. However, this is what we had been doing for years before this project. I told Jay that the property was not graded properly to allow the water to drain off our lawn. He disagreed, but the constant standing water has remained.

Installing a permanent solution to eliminate our drainage problem and the maintenance it required was the single reason we paid Property Masters $15K to do the work. The months went by, but Jay was difficult to reach and continued to refuse to remedy the situation. We continue to have standing water on our lawn.

Finally, in March of this year (almost a year after the work was completed), after ongoing attempts to get Property Masters to fix what we paid them to fix, I convinced Jay that he needed to see how poorly their drainage system is working. When he came by, he said he would discuss it with his team and get back to us "in a few days." It is now mid-May, and he has never gotten back to us.

In summary, Property Masters was quick to take almost $15K of our money to do a major landscaping job in our yard that was supposed to fix our drainage problem. It never worked. We still have to do what we did before they did the job. And they refuse to take ownership of the problem and fix it as they originally promised.

We got a backyard project done recently and were very satisfied with the skill, finesse and commitment shown by Alberto Catalan and his team. They did an excellent job, very happy with Alberto and the team. As for Cumberland as a company, very good customer experience provided by Zoe Lewis. Zoe thanks to you and Alberto's team we are delighted with the work executed for us.

I've used Property Masters for several landscaping projects over the years. Their product and service are great. Expectations have always been exceeded. Good value and strong super professional crew.

Hired Property Masters summer of 2021 since our neighbors yard looked so great. We had them redo the front and back yard which was to include grading for drainage, plants, sidewalk install and sod. The plants and sidewalks turned out great but everything else was garbage. Both the front and back pool water so bad they are unusable, which is a shame due to the amount of money we paid. They also didn't pull up the roots to old plants so now they are coming back through the mulch. They came out 4x to try and fix it and it just got worse. Sadly I do not recommend this company.

Great Landscaping service. We had a very tough job and Lang and his crew were the only company that wanted to do the work. They did a terrific job considering what a bad mess it was. Thanks so much! Looking forward to seeing you in 3 months.

Great experience working with Lang! He was very communicative and easy to work with. Had to do extensive pruning and mulching plus a tree removal and his team did an excellent job. Always a huge benefit to be able to directly communicate with the owner of the company for any changes or clarifications last minute. We will be using him again!

I had two small-ish projects, adding sod to part of the yard and repairing some brick hardscape. Both projects were completed on time and without any surprise changes. The work for both projects was also done well. I’m pleased with the work and will use Morning Dew again.

As a Realtor, one of the most important things is a strong network of businesses that can prepare my clients real estate investments to be liquidated for top dollar. When my clients could benefit from improving the curb appeal of their properties, I always recommend the Morning Dew Landscapes, the company I have trusted with my own properties for many years.

Bad experience. Failed to do half of the jobs we contracted for, failed to bring the proper tools and equipment to do the work, did not do the specific work detailed on the invoice, charged me for materials that were never used or even purchased, did not properly complete the work they did do, and poor quality workmanship. The first job was to trim back a long row of bushes on the top of a six ft high retainer wall. I asked that the top and only one of the sides be trimmed. The owner, Lang, arrives at my home with only two workmen and didn’t bring a ladder. Wanted to know if I had a ladder his guys could use. Then, he didn’t bring the proper tools and even one workman commented that if he had an extension for the hedge trimmer, the job would’ve been much easier. Plus, ran out of gas for the trimmer, so he finished cutting the tops by hand. Looks terrible. Because of the improper equipment, the job took twice as long, looks bad and is not complete. Then Lang proceeds to tell me that he just doesn’t have the equipment to do the job. Then the second task we agreed on was the installation of plastic edging between a rock walkway and pinestraw bed. Lang says that he can’t do it because he didn’t bring the necessary tools. And he would have to charge me more than the original quote. So that job was a no-go. Then the sod issues. First, he charged me for fifteen bags of topsoil, which he did not use; that number of bags of topsoil for one pallet of grass doesn’t even make sense. All I saw were about six bags lying on the ground. I was charged almost two hundred dollars as a “delivery fee” for him to pick up the sod. Also, he was to till the soil and remove the rocks before adding topsoil. That work wasn’t done either, but I was still charged for it. Then his workman placed a few pieces of the sod in the wrong place, pulling up good grass to do so. Plus, the sod was horribly cut and edging is horrendous. Also, he didn’t bring the roller to roll out the sod. So I had to pay someone to fix it all. Just a poor experience all around. I do not recommend this company.

Very impressed with the job that Lang and Fidel’s crew did at my home. I had several trees and a small area concreted leading to my front porch. From the initial quote to the completed work, I was extremely pleased. Will be using Morning Dew on future home landscaping projects.

Morning Dew did work in our front and back yards. In the front, they removed most of our existing landscaping, which was overgrown and dated, and installed new bushes and flowers. They even removed a couple of large trees. Lang suggested the design and plants. In the back, they repaired a retaining wall, regraded, and installed sod. Everyone was professional, helpful and hardworking. They were able to start quickly and we’re always on time. The quote was very reasonable, and the work was high quality

We are so grateful to have found Lang and Morning Dew Landscapes when we first moved to Marietta over 3 years ago. With his expertise and creativity, we are transforming our gardens, patios and lawn.
