We greatly appreciated the overall design proposed for our courtyard, and we have enjoyed the mix of flowers and shrubbery. The workmen were really artists as they shaped each piece of stone for the walkway; the result is a unique design, unlike any other in our neighborhood .

How did it go? It didn’t. I found Georgia Natural Scapes on Houze. Mr. Storey reached out to me in response to my query on the site. Things were going well. We set up a time for him to look at my property. He was punctual. He seemed to really know his stuff. Already considering him for additional landscaping work, I agree on his price.

He writes up the estimate and requested a 50% down payment to “book” me for three weeks out. I sleep on it because I generally don’t work with contractors asking deposits. Besides, he didn’t just ask for 10%, which, while I might have flinched, I probably would have gone ahead and paid in this case given the lengthy journey I’ve been on to find an irrigation installer (this trip has been LONG, like this is my THIRD summer trying to get this done). I would have even been okay with payment for materials upon delivery to my door with a receipt. But no - he asked for FIFTY percent deposit, sight unseen. That was like about $1,000 (being willing to expand the scope, that deposit would have been closer to $1,600).

The next day I responded to his estimate stating I don’t generally do deposits, along with the conditions (above, including phased work or upon completion) I might be willing to do so. We talk on the phone and he goes on about this being how he's run his business for 35 years and that he’s a stand-up guy. I inform him I’m also a stand-up gal and am good for the money under the conditions outlined. He “agreed” and then I expanded the scope, with him promising an amended contract, for me to sign in lieu of down payment , to my email that evening.

I wait a couple of days and follow up. He promises an amended contract by end of week. I knew then he was no longer interested. I didn't even bother to follow up again and started looking for other installers after the initial follow up. It really is a trip out here!

I find Rainman Irrigation on Angie’s List. Let me just say, it was a night and day experience from approach to job completion, less expensive, (like 30%) with a lifetime warranty. I am now the happy owner of a well done irrigation system. I’m happy this ultimately did not work out with Georgia Natural Scapes or any of the flakes and no-shows I’ve been dealing with the last 3 summers. I have reviewed and highly recommended Rainman on this site as well.

Georgia Natural Scapes landscaped our courtyard and added a paver walkway, patio, as well as a beautiful fountain, and also a cedar arbor. The guys worked so hard to get all this done for us before a family gathering we were hosting. It turned out beautifully, and everyone loved it, including us!

Did a great job. The landscaping is beautiful. Also had them build a two story deck. After four years it is still rock solid. Rebuilt my front steps leading up to my porch. Cut a new door to access upper deck. Built stone steps down to the driveway. Everything was done professionally and I am beyond pleased.

Very knowledgeable!!!! Knew the best options for landscaping our new pool area. Looks like an oasis!!! Excellent to work with. Works to find the best plants and flowers at great prices. He also did a great job with our exterior deck and pool lighting!

Dave Rindt, and his company Georgia Natural Scapes, is the best, most considerate landscaping contractor I have ever used,;and I had plowed through many of them until I came across David more than 10 years ago. His cost are very fair and his crews are very reliable at taking care of us during regular scheduled maintenance times, which occurs once a week at both my home and office building. He and his crew are also very good at handling emergency situations such as quickly removing fallen trees, limbs, putting in flowers and mulch, trimming tress and shrubs, treating lawns, making new flower beds, providing ideas that make our place win Yard of the Month, at least once a year in our subdivision of more than 160 homes.

All that is left for me to say about Georgia Natural Scapes and David Rindt, the owner, is that I can 100%, without hesitation, recommend them over anybody else out there for you to use in maintaining your most prized and biggest investment. The exterior of your home will always look great and I will close with "your curb appeal and your neighbors will appreciate you for doing so."

Georgia Natural Scapes is an outstanding landscape design company. In September of 2017, I was frustrated with my front yard--an older home with trees that have grown and a lawn that was basically moss. My yard looked tired and needed lots of tlc, mulch, and color. A consultation was set up within 24 hours of me calling. Steve Storey was on time, professional, and really listened to my needs and concerns. within 36 hours I had a proposed invoice and all work to be completed listed line per line--no hidden costs. His crew were on time, professional, introduced themselves and worked like I have never seen. I now have a lean and practically lawn maintenance free front yard. New pine straw, mulch. My yard has vinca minor, creeping raspberry and lovely camellia bushes instead of straggly knockout roses. The lighting system and irrigation systems was checked and repaired. My sidewalks and driveway have never been cleaner. The absolutely BEST thing was the placement of river slick stones in an area between the street and the sidewalk (it was just dirt/mud). I am so HAPPY! There was clear communication on both sides. As per any construction project there were some changes that included some different costs. I was made aware of any changes before those changes were made. I highly recommend this design company. What Steve said he would do, it was done. Thank you so much. B Marshall

We hired Georgia natural scapes to do a very extensive project for us to completely make over our backyard. We could not be happier with the end result or the process. Steve delivered on every part of the proposals and gave us an outdoor space that we will get so much joy out of. It is absolutely stunning and I could have never dreamed it would look the way it looks. They created an absolute oasis at our house that is a garden retreat! We will never use anyone else for any landscape projects if you are looking to do a small project or a large makeover this is definitely the company to go with! Their pricing is reasonable and , this is one of the most professional companies we have ever worked with.
