I had electrical work done throughout my entire home, and the experience was exceptional from start to finish. Marco Hernandez and his team were thorough, knowledgeable, and extremely professional. Everything was completed safely, neatly, and with great care. I was very pleased with the results and highly recommend TE Electrical services.

When I needed an electrician and an HVAC technician, I reached out to TE Certified based on the overwhelming number of positive reviews here.

My experience did not reflect those reviews. In fact, I feel like I invited a bunch of used car salesmen into my home. I’ll explain:

I was supposed to get a free estimate for furnace repair. Instead, the technician claimed his visit cost $98—and then he tried to use that as leverage to get me to pay for repairs. I.e., “I’ll waive that $98 fee if you consent to the following services…”

The electrician quoted me $300 to replace a light fixture in my bathroom, which I consented to (and now regret)—and then he wanted me to pony up an additional $5000 to replace my fuse box. But what really grinds my gears is he leaned on scare tactics, implying my house could go up in flames at any moment if I did not consent to the extra work.

The HVAC guy used scare tactics, too—telling me my old furnace could leak carbon monoxide, which could kill my entire family. And while there may be some truth to that and it spurred me to make sure my carbon monoxide detector is in working order, they used it as a segue for a sales pitch for a $14,000 HVAC system.

As if that wasn’t enough, I had to unsubscribe from multiple text messages and emails following these visits—and they continued to call, text and email three additional times until I wrote Donnie the Production Manager back and told him to stop. I’ve also since received unsolicited text messages from a local pest control and roofing company and suspect they sold my information.

I will need a new furnace before long, but I will not be calling TE Certified back for that or anything else. Between the price gouging, scare tactics and relentless marketing, I will take my chances elsewhere—and recommend you do, too.

My electrician‘s name was James. I’m in my 50s and have used many electricians over the years and this gentleman was potentially the best I’ve ever had. He was efficient, timely, and extremely confident and knowledgeable in this field.

In addition, TE provided the best pricing from the quotes I received.

This place is excellent. A/C suddenly went out and everywhere I called wanted to charge a fee just to show up and when it came time for repairs that fee would not be included in the cost of repairs. These guys didn't charge any fees until it was time to start repairs, then when they did the fee was included in the price. Technicians were friendly, informed me of some key maintenance about my unit, and handled the problem quickly and expertly. I definitely won't be going anywhere else for these services.

We replaced our water heater and Isaac did an excellent job. We also had a laundry box, Moen Flo smart water monitor, outside water bib and a new water bib added in our garage. The installations were neat and clean. Issac and team made sure everything was operational and explained everything in detail before they left. TE Certified has been an excellent company for us with electrical, HVAC, and plumbing. We’re comfortable using them and will continue doing so for future projects.

Zach was knowledgeable, great communication on progress, and did a thorough job. He always wants to make sure the job is done right without doing too much. He does a great job explaining options and helping you figure out what makes the most sense. I will ask for Zach again for any plumbing issues.

This review is for Mario Vazquez, I had a new HVAC installed this time last year and on Wednesday night it stopped working. He came and did an excellent job finding some installation issues that were missed and he made it right. I would highly recommend him for any maintenance and system issues. He was very thorough and professional. Thank you Mario I truly appreciate you keeping me calm and explaining everything.

Thus us the first time we have used TE and had a great experience. They were able to come the next day and do the work that same day. Mario was great and explained everything to us. We know the prices were a little higher than we would have liked to pay for this work, but sometimes you just want a job done quickly. I love that they guarantee their work and have great customer service.

Marshall is an amazing electrician and has been an incredible partner during a full-scale home renovation. He and the entire TE team show up on time, work extremely hard, and do what they promise for reasonable prices and with courteous service. Does it get better than that? I love TE Certified!

TE Electric came highly recommended by others, unfortunately I had a bad experience before they even came on site to work on my generator. Their scheduling number is run by an AI bot named "Sarah". I called before an ice storm was expected to hit. Sarah made the appointment and sent me a text confirming for the correct date and time. I also asked if there would be a charge if the technician comes out and cannot fix the low voltage issue. I was just told that there are "no trip charges." The night before my appointment, I get a call from an actual human telling me that the virtual assistant made a mistake and scheduled me for a time when no technicians were available and that no one would be available to come before the ice storm hits. Had I been given correct information from the start, I could have called other companies and tried to get a technician out before the storm. Fortunately we did not lose power and I kept the next available appointment after the storm. When the technician arrived, he told me that it was going to be a $149 charge just to look at the generator, even if he cannot figure out the problem, which once again goes against what the virtual assistant told me. Others have looked at my generator and have been unable to troubleshoot it, so I felt uneasy paying $149 when I didn't even know if he could fix it or even diagnose it. It seems like Sarah is doing harm to both customers like myself by scheduling incorrect appointments and the staff by giving false information which caused a technician to waste time coming out for nothing.

Ben did a fantastic job repairing our broken pvc pipe and connecting joints. He was thorough, quick, and very professional. I particularly liked getting an estimate before deciding on TE Certified Plumbing for my services. Most other plumbing services charge an upfront fee to send a plumber before giving an estimate. The quoted estimate from TE Certified Plumbing was very reasonable and was exactly what I ended up paying. And of course having Ben as my plumber made my experience that much more satisfying.

Enjoyed working with TE Certified. The tech explained everything in detail, was very professional and knowledgeable, and did the work with a high level of detail. They aren’t the cheapest, but the peace of mind and quality of work are worth it. I would definitely recommend them.

Jeff Harrison did a fantastic job replacing my broken hot water heater. He explained how the process works and was able to answer all my questions. He’s a great reflection of the companies high standards.

Phil from TE Certified came to my house to do an electrical inspection and I was very pleased at the thoroughness. Phil checked every section of my house from attic to basement and areas outside the house. Afterward, he provided estimates on additional work to help modernize my home. He was very patient with the many questions I had and even provided some helpful DIY tips to make some improvements. I'll be sure to use them again in the future! UPDATE 1/14/25: I went with TE Certified to do some additional work to make my home safer and install a Tesla/EV charger in my garage. Mauricio and his team came out over two days to do the work and did a tremendous job. They were very cordial, patient with explaining the work, and wanted to make sure I was happy with the results which I was. Will definitely use them again!

I cannot express how elated I am that I went with TE Certified to basically save my home from an impending fire. I went with the Peace of Mind pkg, which is exactly what it's named. Full electrical panel upgrade, total home re-device and installation of several fixtures. James Durbin, Brian and Armando were absolutely awesome to work with. They were very respectful , professional and extremely knowledgeable. I was kept up to speed on everything. Even the inspector from Cobb County that came out for pre-inspection, said they know TE Certified is going to do everything to code and that I was in good hands with them. TE Certified has earned my trust for the multiple other services that they offer and have earned a customer for life.

The service and competence of our plumber was excellent. We had not realized that our previous water heater was leaking and should have been replaced years ago. The replacement is excellent and does not have the problems of our 20 year old model.

Gabriel Bartee from TE Certified Electrical, Plumbing, Heating & Cooling was amazing. He is very professional, knowledgeable, kind, and easy to work with. He took special care to make sure I was getting exactly what I needed. This is the second time he has done work at my home and both times were excellent. I plan to request him for future HVAC service and highly recommend him if you are looking for someone who knows what they are doing and will take time with you to make sure you are getting the best service possible.

Carlos was extremely knowledgeable, professional, conscientious, and organized when running power from our breaker box to our HVAC closet. He had to run it over the ceiling of 2 rooms and was able to do this without making any cuts in our walls or ceilings. He also pointed out several deficiencies in our current breaker box and left me with an estimate to correct them. Over all, I’m extremely happy with the work , finished product and the cost was competitive. I would recommend them to others.

Our technician (Dani) was great. He was on time, knew what he was talking about and made our repairs very quickly. He cleaned up after himself and it was like he wasn't here. We also got him to quote toilet replacements for us and he was able to provide the quote and schedule while on site. Would highly recommend this company. Communication has been wonderful just like the workmanship.

Had TE out to the house for the 3rd time (each different issues) and I've posted similar great reviews. This time we had a "smart" leak detection/auto-shutoff system installed. We are finding them to be incredibly reliable, professional, and trustworthy. They show up as promised and call in advance to update you on arrival time. Steven S. is really great to work with. As a homeowner who no longer is a "do-it-yourselfer" it's great to have a reliable service to count on.

John with TE came out to quote a few electrical jobs around my house. I was very impressed with his knowledge and professionalism. He made me feel very comfortable with the quote and quality of work that would be performed. A few weeks later, he came out to install a new chandelier and outside garage lighting. During the job, he and Javy ran into several unexpected issues with the existing electrical in our 35 year old home. They handled the issues creatively and completed the job as quoted. I would highly recommend John and his team at TE for all your electrical needs.
