Carlos came to give us a bid to replace our deck.
He said the bid would be ready in 2 days. When I contacted him 3 days later, he said 5 more days “by noon on Saturday”. Then he ghosted us.
Lesson: Don’t chase a bid or you can expect the same with the actual work.
