Tree reviews in Stonecrest, Georgia

Great experience with Turman Lawn Care and Tree Service. I contracted with Mr Turman for a backyard clean-up/weed removal and planting shrubs, new pine straw and pressure washing a deck and retaining wall. Job completed within 1-2 days with delays due to weather.

He has just completed a total front yard landscape makeover. this included removal of 2 large maple trees, stump/root removal/grinding , all bushes shrubs and grass. The front yard is now beautifully landscaped with low maintenance plants, shrubs, dwarf Japanese maple and variety of rocks/boulders and flagstone pathway. Total elimination of grass!! Topped off the fresh look by pressure washing the house and driveway. Absolutely fabulous.

It's great to see a business owner invest in his company by having the proper equipment to get any job done.

I definitely selected someone who knows how to provide great service with pride, professionalism and great ideas. Mr Turman and crew are hard working and prepared to get the work done without cutting corners.

My thanks and they will be my go to company for additional lawn care projects.

This is my second time using his services. First time was about 4 years ago when he pressure washed the driveway/house and removed an oak tree. He did great work!

Fast forward to about a week ago. I had him come out and remove 10 plus trees in my backyard. I paid him 100% of the balance upfront and this will be my last time doing that to a contractor. There was some discrepancies with the work and damages to my fence. He told me he'd come out to fix it.. multiple days go by, plenty of phone calls with him and still a no show.

I guess he got caught up doing other things? Either way, I'm not chasing anybody down. Overall he does great work! ..but after he received his payment, he had no intention to come back to address the issues.

Shrod and his team are amazing. I called him Tues 5/19 for an estimate and he came the same day. He gave me a great price to remove a large tree and clean up some trees branches. He arrived early on Thursday 5/21 and completed the job to perfection. I recommend Turman Lawn Care because of their fast response time, professionalism and quality work!

I cannot say enough great things about Turman Lawn Care and Tree Service!! They do EXCELLENT work, they are always professional, responsive and dependable. I had them cut back some trees in my back and front yard about 3 years ago and again today. They did an AMAZING job! They exceeded my expectations. The trees in my backyard were encroaching on my deck and they cut them all back so that now I can enjoy my deck without feeling so close to the trees back there. It looks great! I would 100% recommend that if you have any tree removal/landscaping needs to give Turman Lawn Care a call!!

Highly recommend. Quick response fair pricing and very professional. Did what they said they would do. I would use them again in the future and tell my neighbors. Went above and beyond ! Give them a chance you will not be disappointed.

Use this tree service and I am happy with the service. They are professional and get the job done efficiently and safely. Recommend this service.

He is the best as he did my land I just bought and took down the trees even the ones at my lake and made me see my boundaries and gave us the comfort we needed and you already got more work by me again !!! Thanks to the best !!!

A large tree fell on the roof of my house during the recent rain storm, causing damage to my house. Turman Lawn Care and Tree Service, Shrod was contacted for emergency tree removal. Shrod was incredibly quick and efficient in responding. Shrod worked really smart from start to finish --- by using a crane to lift the big tree off the roof of my house. Shrod did and excellent job! The company is highly recommended for its prompt service, excellent cleanup and professional work.

Last week I was in need of 2 loads of dirt to repair sink holes/level retaining wall. Shrod responded w/in 24 hrs for on site inspection. Rates offered were very reasonable & scheduled appointment w/in 1wk. He arrived 10 minutes early to setup. Dirt (2loads) seeds, sod, straw, watered grass were all included in my package!!! Awesome job completed and I would most definitely recommend Turman Lawn Care services. Thanks Shrod!

We had hired him to do some landscaping work. He was suppose to level the land and apply SOD. He also said that he could make a drain in my yard. He didn’t do the job correctly and had to come back out then got upset and left the job undone leaving my yard looking awful. He also pro-longed the job when it could have been done sooner. He was Money hungry and should have just said he couldn’t do the job. Why get upset if you have to come correct a job you did incorrectly?? Please save your money and time.

Shared was very kind and accommodating. He was professional and very quick and efficient and doing the job. He was able to remove a tree and trim back some of the limbs off of my power line and even suggested other services on my property. Very knowledgeable will use again

I highly recommend Turman Lawn Care my daughter had tree damage after a storm after receiving a quote from another company she decided to get a second quote. I am so happy she did first of all Turman Lawn Care was so much more professional and accommodating. They immediately removed the tree branches that were blocking the driveway excess. Turman Lawn Care also completely removed the damaged tree safely without any damage to her property.

We recently had a ton of brush cleared and some trees and hedges cut out by TURMAN LAWN CARE.
Shrod and Brandon Turman and the team did excellent work and were very responsive to our needs. Turman has the right equipment for the job and the skills to make it happen. They are reasonably priced, too.
I highly recommend Turman Lawn Care for your landscaping needs.

Turman Lawncare provided excellent service at our property. They removed several trees, branches and tree stumps cleaning up our property and making it much safer and nicer looking. They also raised the canopy of a couple of trees. Everything was done professionally. The process was easy, well managed, and done with high quality and care. I will for sure contact them in the future!

We contracted with Turman lawn care and tree service for removal of 22 large trees on our property. Mr Turman and his crew are the epitome of "above and beyond" service in every respect. They are extremely professional, knowledgeable, efficient, courteous, intuitive, well trained, timely and their services are reasonably priced!
If it were possible to give a rating higher than 5, they certainly would deserve it!
The team was extremely careful, aware, sensitive to the surroundings(our home, yard and the neighbors) as they expertly removed and guided the trees to the disposal equipment. All debris was properly removed and this area was left in pristine condition! They are one of the best we have seen in this business. We highly recommend and will certainly use them again!!

Turman Lawn Care and Tree Service did an exceptional job removing trees and clearing my yard. Their crew arrived on time, worked safely, and handled the entire project with real expertise. They took down large trees quickly but carefully, protected my property, and cleaned up every bit of debris before leaving. The pricing was fair, the communication was clear, and the team was respectful and efficient throughout the process. It’s rare to find a company that combines skill, professionalism, and great customer service at this level. I highly recommend Turman for tree removal, land clearing, and any heavy‑duty yard work.

I cannot recommend Turman Lawn Care and Tree Service enough! They first came out to remove a tree from my home, and the experience was so smooth and professional that I brought them back to remove another 8–10 trees shortly after.

From start to finish, their customer service was outstanding. They were prompt, communicative, and extremely professional. The crew worked efficiently, safely, and left my property clean and looking better than before. It’s not easy finding a company that delivers both quality work and great service — but Turman absolutely does.
