Electrical reviews in Tyrone, Georgia
-
Great, hardworking folks! Always impressed with their work and their people!
-
Great company. Does what they say they will do and nice personnel!
-
Very poor secretary communication skills. They don't call back with updated correct quote and information. Also they have nasty attitudes talking to customers
-
The secretary is beyond rude. Missed the 4 hour window. I called and they wanted to reschedule 2 weeks out!
-
If you pay attention to your Google search this is BIG DAWG ELECTRICAL NOT BIG DAWG MECHANICAL. THIS COMPANY IS AMAZING!! THE OTHER HAS NO WEBSITE.
-
Stay away from this company. They only want to work if the sun is shining and will not take responsibility for turning on and off your water. And michelle the secy is very rude. They need to try a different profession.
-
POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE - Michelle who answers the phone was totally rude and didn't want to listen to the issue. The technician that came to my house performed minimal diagnostic testing. Ultimately it lead to incorrect reporting and the problem still exists.
-
They got assigned to my claim with First American Home Warranty, they called me within 5 minutes to schedule my water heater repair with only 2 days out. I think we can survive 2 days without hot water, thank goodness its Summer lol.
-
Horrible horrible customer service. The receptionist was extremely hostile and condescending to me. Coordinating with her via the phone when the technician was there was challenging. She terminated my service without reaching out to me so I could let the technician into the building. They were referred to me by my home warranty company. STAY AWAY FROM THEM!!!
-
If I could give zero stars I would
The owner of the company is EXTREMELY unprofessional and rude. I was insulted ,yelled at, and hung up on. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!! -
What an awful experience! The receptionist are a complete disgrace! Unwilling to help, always treating the customer like an inconvenience and not willing to help out. Making decisions without consulting the owners. Not to mention that coordinating with them was a monumental task. Please stay away from business. Do yourself a favor and find a reputable company.

Big Dawg Electrical is a stand up business and always does quality commercial electrical work. Any negative reviewers I see seem to be about a different company, maybe with a similar name. This company only does commercial electrical contracting, usually for new restaurants and remodels. I highly recommend Big Dawg Electrical!

Absolutely impressed with Big Dawg Electrical!
They’ve been a pleasure to work with from start to finish. I was honestly shocked to see some of the negative reviews—until I looked closer and realized they’re clearly being mistaken for another company. It’s a real shame to see good people get a bad reputation they don’t deserve. Big Dawg has earned my full trust, and I’d recommend them without hesitation. -
We have a home warranty with First American who sent Big Dawg to replace our broken 17-year-old gas hot water heater. They drove an unmarked mini truck, installed a 50- gallon Rheem, charged us an additional $1,300 above what the Warranty company paid them stating we needed upgraded venting, black pipe changes, a pan, and charged us for haul away of the old unit. They told us if we pay via credit card, they would tack-on an additional 4% service fee - we paid via check. We woke up the next morning to water 💦 in our basement (photos were taken several hours after we cleaned up much of the mess).
We called Big Dawg, who came out several hours later, and told us it’s a manufacturer’s defect and we need to call Rheem to resolve 😡. We called Rheem who told us that Big Dawg purchased the hot water heater at Home Depot!! And since it was purchased at Home Depot, someone would need to drain it and bring the unit to Home Depot for an exchange 😱. When we called back Big Dawg, they said the problem is ours.
How the heck am I supposed to drain a hot water heater, disconnect it from the plumbing and haul it to Home Depot?? If I knew how to do that, I wouldn’t have called a plumber in the first place!! This is the most unprofessional responsibility I have ever seen. Aside from contacting an attorney, any other suggestions? Be warned - don’t use this company!!! -
4 complaints related to Service Charges & Customer Service of today's Call.
1. Warranty charge $95 truck roll and since my issue isn't cover due to a part on Recall list. On a home built in 1993 what was expected. Big Dawg Mechanical refused to discount me.
2. I had a water leak in basement in my kitchen area from ceiling on a half inch water line. 3 people said they can fix for $300 or less. They said it was a simple 20 min job. I asked customer service to explain the $550 charge & that parts is less than $30 she did not give me a itemized explanation. Tech was at my home like 30 minutes. Again ask for discount i was refused. Is there a trip charge? I do not understand how much labor on a quick job.
3. Tech took down my drop cieling to access pipe & didn't put it back. Stated company policy. So you take it down charge $550 & refuse to put it back. You should of made that clear I could of hired someone else. Now I must pay another person to put that back up. Outrageous.
4. I was told water company will discount me on water leak since they didn't fix it right away & had me rescheduled from 12-5 to 12-8 & per Rockdale County Water Authority they do not issue courtesy credits to inside home leaks. Again I would of hired someone else if I knew I wouldn't even get discount.
Overall I feel taken advantage because I am a woman and I needed it done. Overall that is horrible customer service. -
Good people!
-
Awesome service. We lost power in the garage. Brian from Plugged In came out, on time, diagnosed the problem immediately and fixed it. Very professional.
-
Plugged in was highly proffessional, well priced, and genuinely wanted to get our electrical mess straightened out quickly. I would recommend them to anyone!
-
These guys are professional, courteous and a pleasure to work with! They are always upfront with costs or if additional work or modifications are necessary they are honest and straightforward!

Another superior job by Plugged In Electrical – from identifying the underground problem; developing a plan to fix it; fixed it; and even planted grass seed where new underground wiring had to be installed.
Installed 240 V 20 amp circuit to irrigation pump from control box located in crawlspace. Install conduit in trench through yard to disconnect at pump. -
Very knowledgeable and prices are reasonable. Have used them for all 3 projects I have had done. They arrive on time and very friendly.
