All around a great experience to work with IEH. Having had issues with communications from other highly rated solar providers and scrambling to find a replacement in August, PM Michael from IEH went above and beyond from day one, and was able to get me scheduled in before end of year.

Not only was Michael a huge help and professional, but Mike and his installing crew were also amazing. They were able to install everything in a timely manner, especially going through the tight crawlspace, and with no hassle of them leaving their trash or such around. Mike was through with the explanation of the new system, and offered continued support when needed.

All in all, very pleased and will send all solar business their way when possible!

Amazing experience with IEH for our PV installation!! The site survey was detailed and clearly explained, and the installation team were punctual, professional, and tidy. Everything was installed to a high standard with neat cabling and proper testing and commissioning. The system is performing exactly as expected, and monitoring was set up and explained clearly. Our experience with them has been good ! They updated the clamps to our panels at no charge while checking to make sure everything was in working order. Responded in a timely manner with an overall report of their services. Give them a try, you'll be glad you did !

If you considering going with guys from like Costco or other alternatives like that - nah for reals - give these guys a call and see what they can do for you. I had my PV system installed 2 years ago and it has been flawless (w/ Enphase battery). Enphase App is easy to use for monitoring. Independent Energy is a great company from install and most recently panel cleaning and service. I will always recommend Independent Energy for their great service (all local and professional top-tier guys for reals), and install of top-of-the-line PV equipment (mines kinda old already but still gets the job done).

The IEH team are consummate professionals. The process was quick and painless and with emphasis on safety and accuracy during installation. Keelan, team leader was pleasant, knowledgeable and always available to address all our concerns. The rest of the crew, Prescott, Micah, Ade and Sage were friendly, neat, experts in their line of work and did exceptional job! Also worth mentioning is Devin. He did a great job in presenting their products during the initial survey. Likewise, he addressed a great deal of our concerns and questions regarding the system. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a solar company.

100% recommend. We started the process with Taryn who was always prompt with answering questions and helping sort through various options for solar and battery combinations. Ended up going with a full Enphase system which works and looks great! Joe and Soren led the installation team, and even though the weather had other ideas, they managed to get everything done with only minor delay. It was a pleasure watching these guys work with precision and obvious dedication to their craft. Also, I was especially looking for a company that emphasizes post-installation support, and Independent Energy offers exactly that with the solar insure warranty program.

Independent Energy Hawaii was incredible!! From the planning and design process to the installation, it all went so smooth. The installation team all worked hard to get the system up in 3 days even in the pouring rain. A bunch of young guys that seem to enjoy what they do and are really good at it. So cool to see a local family run company that prides themselves in their efficiency and communication. Even got some of the higher ups in the company that are normally in the office, out on the roof jamming in the rain. So stoked that I decided to go with Independent. They treated me and my family like VIP and made the entire process of putting solar and going green, really enjoyable. If given the choice of any solar company in Hawaii, I would choose Independent Energy Hawaii every time!!
