Their workers are more interested in trying to capture wild chickens instead of doing their job. I don't even want to know what their intentions are with the innocent chickens. Do not do business with a company that has people like this working for them. The employer was informed of this behavior and did not care and laughed it off.

Witnessed their employees trapping and killing chickens while in uniform in the white van with the company logo on the side. This was done at the Goodyear in Kapolei in front of men and women who did not enjoy what they were witnessing, nor did I. There’s plenty of landscapers on this island, maybe find one that doesn’t abuse animals while on the clock!

The designer, Kees Verkaden, is a true master of his art! Because of his life long passion for garden design, he has an attention to detail and commitment to service that I've never seen anywhere else on this island. There are big $$$ designers and landscape companies that charge twice as much and have half the knowledge and quality. When it comes time for installation, he and his crew were always efficient and considerate. He'll save you a fortune because he knows how to do it right the first time and I've never met any landscaper that knew as much about proper maintenance and pest control for the trees and shrubs. Oahu homeowners that love beautiful gardens are lucky because this guy should be designing for major theme park gardens!

Kees has so much knowledge in landscaping. Paradise by Design handles all our irrigation issues, sprinkler repairs and upgrades for our campus. He is now a trusted consultant in fertilizing, design, safe chemical usage and more. Thank you!

I would definitely recommend Paradise By Design Landscaping, We had some garden lighting installed without any problems. Great follow up, Kee's came down to replace a bulb without any problems. Service is great!! I would definitely use them again.

Kila, Ralph? (sorry, forgot his name) came the first couple of days along with Chad and Pali who were there from the beginning and all the way to the end of the project. They worked very hard and were so patient with me (because I am quite picky) when I wanted things done a certain way. Hardworking, efficient, polite, and overall very nice guys. Thank you Chad and Pili for acommodating me and going above and beyond to make sure I was satisfied and happy with the project.
(If there's any drawback to this whole project it is that I talked to or corresponded with so many different people - Bruce, Brant, Santi, and finally Ace that I found myself repeating what I wanted to have done.)
Ace Nash was in charge of my project and he, bless him, was also so very patient with me when I explained my vision for this project. He gave some very good input and feedback and although I was adamant at first about sticking to what I had already decided on, I eventually came around to what he had suggested and I am so happy that I did. A car plowed through our front yard a few months ago and completely destroyed it. We hired Hapa for the entire restoration, which included the rebuilding of retaining walls; removal of debris and damaged trees; installation of a new sprinkler system; and new landscaping (sod, shrubs, palms). We’re super happy with the results, as well as our experience with the Hapa team.

Everyone we worked with was awesome—Santiago, Ace, Dylan, to name a few. Hapa provided a reasonable quote, given the scope of our project. They communicated with us promptly whenever we had questions. (The office staff was very responsive, too.) Hapa completed work in the timeframe promised and stayed on budget. They cleaned up and left our property in stellar shape. Hapa exceeded our expectations, and we’d definitely recommend them!

We had several water line leaks and controller valve issues in our sprinkler system. Hapa was very responsive and professional in diagnosing and repairing the problems and left the system in much better condition that it had been in for several years. Their rates were very competitive compared to other firms we contacted.

I discussed my wishes with Santiago who came out and gave me recommendations. The crew did a good job, and they accommodated me with some changes to my desire. They have installed the artificial lawn for our front yard before and we loved it. So we asked them again to work on our driveway project, which was done exactly we expected and we are happy with their work.

Our "yard" is mostly planter boxes and gravel-covered areas with some fruit trees. We managed to keep everything clean until the kids got invoived in sports and then our yard turned into a jungle. Our house looked abandoned and we were embarrassed to invite people over. Finally, we decided we needed to call in the pros and after getting quotes from several, highly-rated landscaping companies, Santiago came out and impressed with his advice, detailed proposal, and price. We almost didnʻt call Hapa Landscaping because they looked to expensive based on the sample jobs highlighted on their website. Our job was much humbler--it was just clearing weeds, digging up the hale koa trees, and restoring the planter areas to nice, neat gravel covered areas. We ended up expanding scope and added an area of synlawn and terraced the small hill in our back yard but we couldnʻt be happier. Hapa Landscaping was easy to communicate with, their crew was professional, they kept the job site spotless at the end of each day, and the workmanship was excellent. We did run into a little mis-communication regarding the front yard but I take responsibility on that. I should have asked questions about the specifics in the quote (which was a great quote) so that we were all on the same page. I would recommend Hapa Landscaping even if youʻre not doing something super fancy and elaborate.
