The Purnell Brothers did an outstanding job on our yard this spring. They were incredibly professional, timely, and did a fantastic job. We had several projects including spring clean up, tree & brush removal, mulching, bush installation- removal, and grooming. We had them install new drip edge and rocks for the front of the house and perimeter.

Luke was great to deal with. He listened, gave great feedback, and was super responsive and we will absolutely be working with them moving forward. As a real estate agent, I want to recommend great service providers to friends and clients and I feel absolutely confident doing that with their team.

We've used other landscapers in the past that smoked and left cigarettes on the property, blew black much all over our white fences because they were rushing to get the job done, left an incredibly thin layer of mulch and were super unresponsive- terrible. The Purnell Brothers could not have been more different in the best way and we are thrilled with how the house looks and look forward to working with them again. I texted Tim and his response was immediate. He was available to come give an estimate quickly and that same week we scheduled for him to remove a stump from our back yard. We had a lot of flowers and plants around and also 8 foot glass doors but he was meticulous about setting up screens and protection for our property. It was in the 90s that day and extremely humid. He could have easily said he wanted to try a different day but he’s a work horse! He had the stump gone quickly and he even shoveled the new mulch he made into our trailer so I could use it elsewhere. He definitely went above and beyond! I would highly recommend Ground Zero and will definitely use him again.

Hired Tim from ground zero stumps to take care of more than a dozen stumps for me , can’t say enough about the job he did! He went above and beyond what I expected . I got estimates and time frames from multiple companies and ground zero was by far the fairest and most responsive, the job he did was the highest of quality at the best price , if you are looking to have stumps taken care of , I highly recommend you give Tim at ground zero a call he does excellent work !

We had contacted Ground Zero Stumps for an estimate and received not only an over the phone but an in-person estimate same day! Tim was very professional and his quote was super competitive! He arrived at our scheduled time and did an amazing job. Went the extra mile to make sure to clean up after himself and made sure we were happy with each stump before he moved on to the next. Tim did an excellent job with the grinding of two large stumps at the end of my driveway. Removed all visible signs of roots below the surface and regraded the area upon completion. Fair pricing and excellent service. I highly recommend Ground Zero for your grinding needs!!

I called Ground Zero Stumps on a Friday to inquire about having a large stump removed. Tim offered to get it done that day! Tim showed up quickly, explained everything he’d need to do, and did a great job removing the stump, including a large rock the tree had grown around over the years. Tim is very professional, personable, skilled and a pleasure to work with. His price was very reasonable. I highly recommend Ground Zero Stumps.

I needed a landscape enhancement on my private residence. Heafield landscaping helped me enhance my home and I am glad it now has a great look. I like their professionalism and customer service. Heafield has done work for me for years now and all I can say is that Alex, out of all of the contractors I have ever used was probably hands down the most reliable, honest, and fair person I have worked with. His staff are hard working, they get the job done and they charge a fair price for everyone. My property was 32 acres with about 8 in lawn and there were numerous features in terms of large gardens, walls, etc to contend with, he did a great job and I didn't have to bother him to show up. I sold my property last fall and Alex was indispensable in uninstalling some granite fountains, and personalized walkway features as well as getting the ready to be shipped to our new home. You will never go wrong with Heafield, especially with an owner like Alex! He also has great looking firewood, all nice clean wood, and seasoned, unlike what you get from many people where the word seasoned means 4 weeks in the sun. Use them you won't be disappointed. I have been buying firewood from them for few years. Responds and delivers quickly with a fair price. The wood has always been good quality and well seasoned. I would highly recommend them.

This is my 2nd project using Firmly Rooted landscaping, & just as before the work was outstanding. Our final excavation, left a 4ft high terrace at the rear of our new back yard, so we wanted stone pavers on our terrace with an attached fire pit for gatherings with a retaining wall low enough for sitting

Chris was very professional & flexible, arriving on two separate occasions to make measurements and estimates for two ideas we contemplated. Our terrace wall was created with river rock boulders on our property, about 4 ft. high, the back slopes upward into the forests' edge; Chris aided us in selecting pavers and retaining wall blocks that would look best against the terrace boulder wall, our wooded environment & our other wall of boulders 3 to 8 ft high, which separates adjoining properties.

The employees Trevor and Brandon, we're also very courteous, polite and punctual, taking great care of our property while working & ensuring the work area was neat & clean throughout the day & after they finished for the day. They requested my input throughout the project, ensuring the fire pit was placed in the exact spot I wanted, & even went so far as to smooth & flatten out all tracks in the dirt / mud, due to the excessive rainfall.

We now have a beautiful terrace with a 40 ft long sitting wall & fire pit for a couples weekend fire on a cool fall evening or a family gathering, blending in perfectly with the boulders and wooded landscape.

The only thing they left behind was a job well done! Thank you Chris, Trevor & Brandon!

Chris and his team are great to work with, easy to communicate with and do a nice job with everything they do! Firmly Rooted did an amazing job on my retaining wall! The guys who did the job were efficient, professional and very personable to work with. I found Chris to be extremely responsive to all my emails and also very professional. The finished product was better than I could have imagined and cost wise it was extremely reasonable. I contacted Chris at Firmly rooted while I was getting quotes for an irrigation system installation. It was a positive experience from the start. Firmly Rooted was the most responsive to my inquiries, and the most competitive in pricing. Chris was out within the week to assess my yard to give me a quote on the project. The two men that did the irrigation install were nothing short of spectacular. They answered my questions, suggested future lawn projects to simplify my future mowing and increase curb appeal; they were engaging and genuinely good people.

We hired Firmly Rooted to do an extensive "facelift" of our front yard, including a 20x14 blue stone patio, and 3 sets of granite steps, with 2 pathways one around the side of the house, and one between garage and back door. We found Chris to be professional, and interpret the look/feel we were going for perfectly. The crew he had here for 3.5 days displayed professionalism, courtesy, kindness and put our wants right at the top of the list! They took pride in their work, took care to make it absolutely perfect!
