We built a new home and had the Lawnboyzzz do our entire lot’s landscaping. They also installed a front walkway using unilock. They did a fantastic job and we plan to have them install our back patio this summer. We would definitely recommend them as they were extremely responsive, knowledgeable and professional.

LawnBoyz installed a 20x20 brick paver patio in my backyard and also installed various shrubs and bushes around my property. The guys at LawnBoyz are top notch. Chad is an excellent salesman - honest and true to his word and very knowledgeable about landscaping, popular trends, and cost conscious. Keith is equally dynamic in the field and does an excellent job running the crews. Their professionalism shines through the quality of their work. I have recommended LawnBoyz to many friends and family who have all had similar experiences.

We had LawnBoyz re-do our entire front landscape this spring. They did a computer rendering for us and changed it up a few times to suit our needs. The work was done professionally and beautifully. The crew was friendly and respectful. We are so proud of our yard now and look forward to LawnBoyz doing more projects for us in the future!

LawnBoyZ completed a large professional grade landscaping design at our home in Arlington Heights. The softscape design included beautiful trees, shrubs, annuals, bulbs, perennials, ground covers and mulch. My wife and I were extremely satisfied with the services provided and quality of material installed. Our front and back yard are beautiful thanks to LawnBoyZ. The owners (Chad and Keith) were highly effective in communicating with us starting with the planning phase all the way through job completion. Chad, Keith, and their skilled hardworking team were top notch! We look forward to having LawnBoyZ install our hardscape in the future.

I saw LawnBoyz doing work in the neighborhood and gave them a call for landscape work we needed in our backyard; I'm glad I did. They listened to our needs and provided an estimate that I thought was very reasonable, and were responsive to the few changes we wanted. All their work, from their estimating to the install, was completed ahead of schedule with no surprises - very much appreciated. They provided a 3D graphic with their estimate and our backyard now looks exactly like what they said it would. We couldn't be happier. Everyone we came in contact with busted their tails, from the president to the installers and graphic artists. I will call them again.

I am a retired horticulture professional, specifically in ornamental landscape. So of course, my expectations were high when I contracted with LawnBoyz. I give the design a "10", installation a "10" and super smooth communication throughout the process. Very satisfied!

I have been a customer of Lawnboyz’s for over 5 years. They are great to work with and always leave our lawn/yard looking professional. We had them install a patio using pavers a few years ago and just had them do the same in the front. After living here for almost 30 years the entry looks amazing! Why did we wait SMH!! Bonnie worked up a great plan for our landscaping around our back deck and it turned out perfect. She had great ideas and when they came out these guys were on time, professional and answered all our questions. Try them! Great to work with

Keith and his team were amazing. I only had a simple patio, a berm and tree's/plants installed but they were truly pleasurable to work with. Them being clear and communicative was refreshing.

We had a fence installed in mid October and the gates did not line up with the walking path the former owner installed. We also needed some significant modifications to our sump and gutter drainage before Winter. Unfortunately most landscaping firms were already done for the season.

After an unsuccessful search, our tree guy recommend Lawnboyz, saying they were high quality at a fair price. Lawnboyz came out and gave us a design for a new path that would greatly clean up the look around our house, and a plan to handle our drainage needs. They also gave us some upgrade options, such as using crushed limestone (bluestone) for our path.

We signed our contract and that night a huge rain came. The problems with our sump line got worse overnight. I called Lawnboyz in the morning and they were able to schedule us for the following day!

The work took two days to complete and the end result is absolutely beautiful. The bluestone walking path and cleaned up garden area turned an eyesore into a focal point. The underlying drainage system is now designed correctly and flows water away from our house when it rains or the sump pump runs.

We are new to the area and are grateful we found a responsive local landscaping firm that we can use for our future projects. Thank you Lawnboyz - great job!

Lawnboyz was wonderful to work with, extremely professional and responsive. We had the front of our house landscaping overhauled. Lawnboyz arrived on time every morning, they started working pulling up all the old landscaping and cleaned it up. The new landscaping added symmetry, color, and beauty to the front yard.

Lawnboyz also made our backyard look beautiful, clean, and neat.

Hi! This is a 2 part review: First, a review covering help we got this summer from this fab company, and then second is the original review I wrote a couple of years ago! I include both so you can see just how extensive their talents are! Thanks to LawnBoyz Landscaping we look like we know something about creating a beautiful lot! What we do know is how to call them when we have a problem (drainage issues) or a wish (garden and lot DESIGN and rocks! rock! rocks! Oh, and boulders, and pavers and mulch!) or when we need maintenance work (edging on flowerbeds, addressing driveway weeds.) We just had them back this year, and once again, Keith, Chad, Bonnie, Matt, Jose and team exceeded our expectations! We had pavers put down, a beautiful giant boulder brought and placed, a clean up and spading of the edges of my flower beds and mulch put in the flowerbeds and by the base of the parkway trees. Thank you, ALL so much!

(Original review to follow) We have used LawnBoyz Landscaping for two homes. In our last home, they cleared an overgrown backyard, leveling it, putting in sod, adding gorgeous hardy plants to make it gorgeous, built a custom firepit and made it a paradise. And they’ve topped that effort in our new home in fall 2021! Here they did it all, including adding landscape rocks and boulders, gorgeous shrubs, sod where needed, adding and replacing hardscape and pavers (which also addressed drainage problems the previous owner had) and made this a showstopper. The thing with LawnBoyz is, once they trick out your lot, your imagination goes wild and you start to have fun with the possibilities. Matt and crew (every one of the crew takes the care of your property personally) are smart, hardworking and professional. Bonnie is a landscape architect who has great ideas while also working intelligently with your own vision. She is also very responsive. Chad and Keith are priceless with their knowledge about any and every problem or concern you have for your property.

We had Lawn Boyz expand and clean up every landscape island we have, along with cleaning up and mulching under our very mature trees. Bonnie came in and created an amazing landscape plan and had no problem revising it per our whims. Their crews did an exceptional job, they were very efficient and professional. We also had two sidewalks and a front stoop installed, that Bonnie designed to match our house style perfectly. Keith, the owner, was very available to answer any questions we had.
All in all we couldn’t be happier with the work Lawn Boyz did and will continue to use them for any landscaping needs that arise.

We had Lawnboyz completely renovate the tired landscaping in our older home. Bonnie was wonderful in coming up with a plan that provided privacy and visual interest. The crew was great and their brick paver work was absolutely perfect. We did have 2 bushes that weren't doing well despite our regular watering and Lawnboyz replaced those without any issues. Very happy we chose them to do the work on our home.

Lawnboyz has completed 2 homes for me. I was so happy at my last home I had them do my new one. My last house they did hardscape and landscape it turned out amazing. They took time to make my vision work. They were patient and helpful. Then I moved, which was not totally planned. Found my dream home that needed tender loving care. Again Lawboyz helped with their magic and a lot of hard work. A major clean up and face lift to both my front and back yards. I will use them for more vision I have. They are reasonably priced, workers go above and beyond, professional and courteous. I had a bad experience with a local landscaper before finding them and they are a Great Firm that you can trust!!!!!

***Buyer beware Do not purchase any trees or do any landscaping with Lawnboyz
We purchased 10k worth of spruce and maple trees from Lawnboyz and prepaid them in full. In turn we were told there was a 1 year warranty. 4 of those trees died. We have reached out over the last 2 months and Chad (the owner) told us to give it time. We did and finally told him we need them replaced. He then proceeded to send his vendor (a man named Gary from spruce trees direct) and wanted me to deal direct with this random guy. I paid Chad not Gary. Gary says he only warranties trees to people that take care of their trees. What?! I don’t have words. Chad has been hiding (this is a trend) and finally told me he would replace them for $5000.00 Side note*** (This is the $5000.00 he came up with for a different project we paid in full for, that he says he didn’t charge enough for after the fact and asked us for it) in fact, he begged me to go to a meeting to argue with his other vendor to “help” Him collect it. He proceeded To tell me he couldn’t make payroll. This is not my problem as a customer to make sure he can pay his employees. I did feel bad that he is having such a hard time managing his business but that is not my Responsibility to help him collect money and then just give him money because he “needs” it Working with them is bad business.
***this company will try and do extra work without asking and then will try and bill you. They will then say they cannot make payroll. It’s a scam.

Lawnboyz Landscaping is the best! Chad and Keith are very knowledgeable, professional and creative! Bonnie and Stephanie are also helpful and professional. We had Lawnboyz complete a big project in our back yard this summer and we LOVE it!!
