We used this tree service recently. They took down three very messy trees in a narrow back yard.y do. No damage and they cleaned up the debris. Highly skilled in what they do. I'd highly recommend them.

Had a clump of live oak stumps in my yard. My builder unsuccessfully tried to get them out with a Bobcat loader. No-go. Called Roderick’s, he came over quoted me a fair price and got right on it. No more problem. Tidied the area up nicely. Price is what I paid, value is what I got. I would definitely use him again

Roderick just came out for another round of trimming. I’ve got three massive, gorgeous oak trees on my property in Hobe Sound that I love more than most family members. One of them is legitimately the size of my house – we’re talking Southern Oak royalty here, the kind that makes neighbors jealous and squirrels throw parties. I’ve babied these beauties for years, so when it came time for a trim, I wasn’t handing the job over to just anyone.
Enter Roderick. This guy showed up like a local legend (because he is – born and raised right here in Hobe Sound), took one look at my oak trio and that sad, mangy-looking cabbage palm trying to photobomb them from the back row, and got to work.
Fast? Check.
Clean? The man left my yard cleaner than when he arrived – I’m pretty sure he vacuumed the grass.
Beautiful trim job? These oaks look like they just got the best haircut of their lives. Better than any barber has ever given me, and I’ve had some tragic ones. The shape is perfect – majestic, not scalped. Even the cabbage palm went from “what is that thing?” to “oh, you clean up nice!”

Pricing? Super fair – didn’t try to upsell me into a full forest makeover.
Attitude? Pure can-do, hard-working Florida grit. No drama, no excuses, just results.
I’ve hired other crews before who left enough branches and debris to start a bonfire (or a new ecosystem). Roderick? Didn’t even leave a single leaf out of place. My lawn looked magazine-ready.

I called Roderick's Tree Service to trim my sabal palms, and let me tell you, these palms were starting to look like they were auditioning for a bad 80s hair band—big, wild, and totally out of control. Roderick showed up like a palm tree whisperer, a true arborist superhero with clippers instead of a cape.

Roderick knew exactly how much to trim (not too much, because apparently palms have feelings and don't like being over-pruned), and he did it with surgical precision. No fronds flying everywhere like a tropical explosion - just a clean, professional job that left my yard looking like it belongs in a fancy resort brochure.

The best part? It didn't cost me an arm and a leg (or a frond and a trunk). Reasonably priced, and as a bonus, Roderick is a genuine Hobe Sound Local worth supporting instead of some big chain that probably trims trees with someone they just hired yesterday.

My palms are now sleek, happy, and hurricane-ready. I recommend Roderick without reservation - if your trees need a haircut, he's the stylist they've been dreaming of!

Had a bunch of trees, trimmed and a large branch removed on an oak tree. They did an excellent job. I’ll be using them again !! very reasonable.

Jose tree services are very realible, they do an excellent job, their team works very excellently, I recommend them.

This is the 2nd time using this service. He is courteous and his prices are reasonable. He cleaned up afterwards and I have already referred him to a friend. Highly recommend.

BE CAUTIOUS OF THIS COMPANY!!
We are working with an arborist to get our lawn back to where it was prior to the town of Sewall’s Pt destroying my lawn when they changed out the water meters. This company was our lawn service. The arborists’ co comes on a monthly basis to do his spraying, fertilizing etc. He KEEPT TELLING ME to address certain issues with our lawn maintenance people.so, We discussed them with Jose n he QUIT ONTHE SPOT stating “ I don’t want to do any more than I do now which was to cut the lawn n occasionally trim.” He was using a round up type agent to trim the edges (as pointed out to us by the arborist) of the lawn and beds rather than edge them and many more such things. The Arborist came over today after Jose quit and went over his suggestions and showed us were these short cuts were being done.
He suggested that we be great full that Jose is no longer here.
But the NERVE OF JOSE! To Call his men off the job and just quit. What a piece of work. If I ran my business like his I to would be living in Golden Gate as well as he rather than So. Sewall’s Pt. Beware of this company. They were great for a month or so then fell into the same groove as many of the la2n service ( wam ban, thank u man!” then allocate 15 minutes to our 3/4 acre property.
Like so many of the lawn maintenance companies operating in Sewall’s Point, Jose likes to be the tail wagging the dog. Not any more. GOOD RIDDENS!!

It is a very reliable company. Last week an ouktree fell near my house. I had to look for a company. A neighbor recommended Jose Tree Services. I called the company. The bino came to my house. I recommend this company, they do a good job. I had a very large tree in the back of my house whose branches were on top of my roof and were a hindrance to my house, but Jose Tree Services came to give me a fair estimate and it was excellent. work I recommend them they are good at what they do

Just had a palm tree removed by Jose and his brother. These people are experts who proceeded safely and effectively to remove this problem tree on the agreed basis and fairly priced. Have attached a picture with Jose near the top of the tree just after he commenced cutting. Would certainly call this business anytime I needed a tree expert.
