We have used Cda sheet metal since we moved here 22 years ago. They have always been prompt and courteous and answered all our questions. I appreciate a company I can trust.

Slimey, greedy, and low integrity are the best ways to describe this company. With so many other good HVAC companies in this area I can't believe they operate with their nose in the air.

Today I was THEIR client. I have been a vendor of theirs for years.
i called with an emergency and they showed up the same day and within 10 minutes had my issue diagnosed. Fixed within an hour.

They contacted me promptly after my inquiry and were able to do the install soon after. The team worked a long day to complete the work so the new equipment was up and running. Couldn't recommend them more highly.

Bad business... I'm sure the owner Michael Poole puts on a smile for big clients and wealthy clients but when I visited their store to inquire about a piece of metal for my stove Michael was so rude and disrespectful I can't believe he's in business!! He must hide the side of himself he showed me from most of his clients or he'd never make a dollar.

I had simple questions that anyone not experienced with metal working would have and Michael treated my like I was stupid and told me to leave his story, even calling me names on the way out as I expressed my disbelief with his attitude.

BAD BUSINESS plain and simple. Go somewhere else if you can about supporting businesses with quality ownership that respect the customer no matter what.

I put in a new furnace 3 years ago that never worked right and the other company came out two more times to fix it. CdA sheet metal came out, found 4 ducts not connected! After they left, I ran a couple of errands. When i came back, the upstairs is not 90 degrees and the main floor is comfortable. Whoop! And sooooo nice. Thank you Mark and Nick!!!

We had our A/C go out and called CDA sheet metal for help. The customer service was good but the quote was outrageous. On top of the 260$ service call ( that just told us it was broken), To fix the part it was 3,000$ and it was recommended to replace the unit at 5,000$. We got a 2nd opinion and ended up going with the 2nd company and they replaced the whole system for 2,700$. If you choose to go with this company make sure you look closely at the price because we saved almost 2,500$ by doing so. They not only lost our job but a service contract that was being held by the family member that recommended them.

Michael is much more than HVAC! Michael designed and built a gorgeous wine tree made from the slats of an aged wine barrel and welded up a frame to hold a couple dozen wine bottles. He donated this to CASA for their main annual fundraiser and it was a huge attention getter! It truly is a piece of art!

Having seen his craftsmanship I called Michael when i wanted to wall mount a 65 inch tv above my fireplace...but not drill into the stonework or damage it in any way. He came up with a design when i met him at the shop that i thought would work and be aesthetically pleasing. I left hoping to pick it up after fabrication was complete in several days. 2 hours later Michael called me to come pick it up! I raced over and was shocked! It was perfect. I just finished installing the drop down mount and it works and looks incredibly well.

Long story short...if you have any need for more than HVAC work that involves welding, design and fabrication...don't hesitate to run it by Michael. I bet he pleasantly surprises you!

I just had CDA Sheet Metal and Heating install a new Lennox Heat pump heating system. I am very impressed with the quality of all the people I talked and worked with. Everyone was courteous and professional. Working with Mark to get the correct system to the installation, everything worked smoothly. It has been just a couple days but, I am already very impressed with the system also!

Michael Poole, the owner saved my bu**. We were doing an emergency repair on a high end chimney flashing. Due to the unusual nature of the natural rock chimney, we needed a 8" high flashing which no one stocks, as it has to be custom made. Michael saved the job for us by having it for me the very next day. He is definitely good for his word and I'm forever grateful for their helping me out in a very stressful situation.

We spend entirely too much time with these guys but then when there is a need they are there for you. I can’t say enough good things about them. I know that when the “condenser pump” dies and turns off the furnace, they are there. When the
Thermostat decides it has had enough, they are there. What I appreciate is their willingness to discuss options for repairs. They think outside the box.

I represent a local roofing contractor and went to Michael for a much needed quote for a copper beam cap for one of my customers. After a week with no response, I called them. The receptionist placed me on hold and consulted Michael about the quote. She reported that he was too busy with HVAC calls, didn't have time, and would contact me when he did. Never heard from him again. Thanks a lot Michael!!!

I needed some custom sheet metal pieces to wrap a door frame, and sent a drawing to Michael for them. Within an hour I had a quote that was quite reasonable, and the parts in hand the next day. The pieces were perfect, and after painting and installing them, my door looks great. Professional, friendly, and responsive company.

For me, when making a big purchase, especially one to be installed in my home I do not think of what I spend as buying the equipment. Yes, there is equipment involved but just about any national brand would probably be fine.

What I am really purchasing is the work of the people who help me understand what I need, provide that equipment, install it, check to see that it works properly and most of all do this in a good mood with a view to going beyond just doing what they promised.

We just had our heating and air-conditioning system installed by CDCSpokane . . . and we are so far beyond just satisfied that I had to write this review.

As new home-owners, we scheduled a routine maintenance check on our furnace and AC. I got a postcard in the mail saying it was time for a service so I called and scheduled one. I made the mistake of not asking for pricing in advance (lesson learned) for what I thought was a simple "come by and check to make sure everything is working properly" maintenance check.

Little did I know (until the bill was handed to me at the end) that they charge $135/hour, and their "maintenance check" consist of all sorts of procedures done without your authorization. Procedures that cost hundreds of dollars.

When I got our bill for close to $500 dollars for 2.5 hours of work, a new filter, and coil cleaning I felt beyond blindsided and quite frankly, really confused. How on earth could something this expensive not be discussed between the technician and client? Any other decent company would have shared the things that needed to be changed, cleaned, replaced etc, and then proceeded to obtain the customers approval before doing so.

When I voiced my concerns about the invoice, the technician's response was, "well, you probably should've done your homework on pricing before all this." He is not wrong. Shame on me for thinking that a discussion would take place before insanely expensive procedures were completed. In attempts to right their wrong, I was offered an option to put a down-payment on services in the future so I won't have to endure this expensive bill next time. How generous of them.

Additionally, (not that it matters now) but I waited around all day for a phone call from the manager that didn't come until right before they closed. By the time I saw the voicemail, they were closed for the weekend and would not be able to speak with me until the start of the next week.

To say we're disappointed is an understatement. There are many other honest companies out there that know how to do the exact same thing as this one. Do your homework, ask the questions, and consider supporting a different business.

To management reading this: please don't bother calling me on Monday.

My furnace quit in the middle of the night. By the time I realized it, it was Friday morning. I called my usual provider only to find out that they couldn't come out until the following week. A friend recommended Coeur d'Alene Sheet Metal and Heating. They were VERY RESPONSIVE and worked within my hectic schedule. The technician arrived promptly the same afternoon, was polite and helpful and found the reason for the problem. A bird had flown into my furnace vent! He removed the bird and cleaned and serviced my furnace, making me very happy. Thank you Coeur d'Alene Sheet Metal and Heating, for your QUALITY and RESPONSIVE SERVICE!! You definitely have my business!!!

Amazing service! Very professional and incredibly quick from the initial contact to the completion of the project. AC went out at the worst time of year (of course!) and was up and running again within a few days -- would have been faster if not for a scheduling conflict for me, which they were happy to work around. I was very impressed and pleased with how fast and easy the whole process was. CDA Spokane HVAC has earned my business for life!
