Dave Mackey scheduled Idaho Power to turn Power to my house off and completed In a timely manner that Idaho Power just stayed on scene and turned the power back on. A job well done.

Most electricians laughed when I asked them to help me with a electrical problem on my vintage cabinet saw (Delta Unisaw). But, David was willing to drive from Emmett to Nampa just to look at it. When he got here, he used his vast knowledge and experience to identify and fix the problem. Then he went on to explain how the starter box worked and identified one more component that needed to be replaced to keep the saw working at it's best.

I invited them over to replace 3 working outlets with GFCI and one switch. Something that would be easy and quick as the owner said. Instead it took them an hour and half for their journeyman to go back and redo the apprentices work. In the end they wanted to charge me $140 an outlet for six hours of labor. This should has been an easy cheap job regardless of their rates.

Regarding my visit with Mackey Electric: The conversations was professional and worth my time the moment I stepped into their office. The amount of information and advice they gave me was phenomenal. I am trying to save money and do as much work on my own as possible. They discussed with me many different options. I hope to use their services in the future.

My wife and I just built a house and Mackey Electric was our builder's electrical contractor. Dave and Justin were exceptionally professional and knowledgeable and wonderful to work with. They were very thorough and took the time to make sure everything was done correctly and no corners were cut.

We very much appreciated their willingness to listen and care enough to try to understand what we were trying to accomplish. After working with them, I'm confident that their work is second to none. We will certainly be recommending them to anyone looking for electrical services.
