I had a fantastic experience with No Bogus Heating and Cooling! From the moment the technician arrived, they were professional, courteous, and clearly knowledgeable. What stood out the most was that they didn’t try to upsell me on anything I didn’t need. They inspected my system, explained everything in plain language, and gave me honest advice without pushing products or services. It’s so refreshing to deal with a company that puts integrity first. I’ll definitely be calling them again and recommending them to friends and neighbors!

Richard was fantastic! I called on Monday because my house was not cooling. He offered to come over that night and I said we could wait until Tuesday. He came first thing in the morning and had us up and running again by the end of the day! And that was only because he had to go and get the parts he needed! What amazing customer service and such a quick turn around to get on the schedule! Josh reached out over the weekend and made sure we were on the schedule as early as possible. Richard was very friendly and did a great job making sure we understood what was going on with our AC and we needed to do moving forward! Highly recommend!

I was exploring various options for a new HVAC system, including a heat pump, and had received numerous quotes from different vendors. I felt overwhelmed by the amount of information, systems, and prices available when I discovered No Bogus. I could tell immediately that No Bogus was different. These were knowledgeable technicians who would do the actual work rather than salespeople focused on up-selling. They provided me with clear information and pricing based on what I needed. I found the NB team members to be bright, communicative, professional, engaging, and helpful. While we were discussing the project, they even fixed an issue with my existing humidifier that they planned to incorporate into the new system. Their quote offered great value and was tailored to fit my needs and budget.

On the installation day, Richard and Josh arrived early, worked tirelessly, and stayed late to remove my old system and install my new dual-fuel heat pump, furnace, and Ecobee wireless thermostat. They returned to fine-tune the system, provide education, answer all of our questions, and lay out a plan for the future.

Josh and Richard are seriously the best! They came out and cleaned out our entire system and installed a new Air Scrubber. It has help the dust and allergens in our home soo much - so amazing especially when you have two dogs!! Highly recommend these guys for any of your HVAC needs. They are so friendly and knowledgeable and have some of the best prices around. We will definitely be using them again in the future.

Amazing Service from Josh at No Bogus!
I recently had an installation done by Josh at No Bogus, and I couldn't be happier with the experience! Josh was extremely knowledgeable, clearly knowing his stuff inside and out. His work was incredibly clean and precise, leaving no mess behind. To top it all off, he patiently walked me through my new thermostat at the end, making sure I understood exactly how to use it.
Honestly, I couldn't recommend anyone else. For a truly professional install, you absolutely have to call Josh at No Bogus!

These guys are the best in the business. Transparent, thorough, and helpful. Not just trying to sell you a whole new system. I recommend them to everyone!

We wanted to install a mini-split system in our garage to make it more comfortable in the summer and winter. We got 6 quotes from around the Treasure Valley. The quotes were all over the place with the highest being over $4K more than the lowest. Rich from No Bogus arrived on time and was very informative and helpful with all my questions. He made us feel really comfortable about the whole job and the products they install. After reviewing all the quotes No Bogus was the 2nd lowest bid but we really felt comfortable with them. I called and asked if they could match the lower bid because we really felt comfortable with them. He agreed and we set up the install. On the day of the install, Rich and his business partner Josh showed up on time. They explained again how the install would go and how long it would take. The whole thing was installed and tested in about 4 hours! After finishing they also checked to make sure the AC and heater powered up properly after turning power back on to the house. Rich noticed a worn part in the AC unit and replaced it for free! Rich and Josh are both master technicians and know their stuff. They were great to work with, worked efficiently, and cleaned up everything after they were done. If you need any kind of HVAC work don't hesitate to call these guys! They will take care of you and probably for a lot less than the big guys. I know they will be doing all our services moving forward.

I got some hvac work done by one of the guys, I think his name was Josh. He did an incredible job and it was reasonably priced. What’s wild is he helped with some lawn work after for free because I am disabled. Hire them you won’t regret it.

Josh and his team are wonderful!! They know what they’re doing and always there to help! I had them come and fix my system and it was quick and done right and I haven’t had a problem since! If you need help I highly recommend no bogus heating and cooling!

Great service, honest about what is needed, expected costs, and future maintenance work. I like they are a locally owned company, not pressured to sell unnecessary HVAC equipment with outrageous fees. I will have No Bogus back again

No Bogus lives up to their name. Our old heater was thoroughly examined and it was determined to be dangerous to continue using it. The new heater was installed in a timely manner and airflow and other questions were answered thoroughly. Thank you No Bogus!

No Bogus might be the best contractor/service company in Treasure Valley, in any category. I called at 930pm with an emergency situation and Richard was at my place and in the attic within an hour. He diagnosed our situation very thoroughly and very clearly, explained our options and let me make a decision without pressure.

Once we opted to have equipment replaced, he got right on ordering and scheduled our install and followup, and he and Josh (his co-owner) came out ON TIME every appointment to get the work done. If you've had any service work done you know how big of a deal it is to not have a 4 hour window but an actual arrival time, and for them to come when they say they will.

Throughout the process communication was very clear, they each invited me to view their progress and explain what they were doing each step of the way.

At the end of the day, there is nobody else I would ever trust with my HVAC needs. True professionals. Exceptionally knowledgeable. Polite and friendly. I never felt like we were a burden, and they even tried (unsuccessfully) to befriend our high anxiety dog.

I cannot recommend these guys enough. I'd give them 10 stars if I could. No Bogus is what service companies used to be, and what they can be again if others follow their example.

highly recommend No Bogus Heating and Cooling. My project was complicated due to owning a very old house and what I needed. No Bogus are installers and came up with a plan to make it work, and in the best way possible. No Bogus is different than salesman (who do not have any installation experience, and do not know what is needed to make the complicated plan work). Thank you for a job well done No Bogus!
