Tree reviews in Kuna, Idaho

Kuna Tree Service Experts came out and removed a big tree that was soon to fall on our house. They did a fast and safe job for a reasonable price.

We reached out to Justin and left a voice message about pruning a tall, 20 + year old birch tree. He was super responsive and worked with us on the timing. It all happened while I was away at work and it was done with care for our tree and property. The photo doesn’t do it justice, but we worried about precarious, branches breaking and falling onto property or worse. Thank you to Justin and crew for a job well done.

I would recommend Double J Tree Service to anyone.
Their prices are very reasonable and better than most in the valley.
They arrived exactly when they said they would.
Justin is very knowledgeable. He described exactly what he was doing and why. When I went outside, Justin showed me what they had finished and explained what they had left to do.
They cleaned up everything when they were finished and put any items they had to move exactly where they went.
I will hire him again when I need anything done
with my trees.
Justin and his crew did an excellent job!

Outstanding work. Professionals knowing what they are doing from removal, stump grinding and incredible clean--up. I highly recommend using this company.

Justin with Double J Tree Service walked me through each individual tree explaining what was needed and what they would do to correct problems and be proactive in trying to avoid future problems with each tree. He was very informative and an expert arborist. They did a fantastic job pruning our 8 trees! They are very professional, personable and experienced. They are dependable, reliable and great at communicating. They are also very reasonably priced. I would strongly recommend Double J Tree Service for all your pruning needs. They know what they are doing.

I would recommend Double J tree service again and again. I have had Justin and his team out on three separate occasions. I can’t say enough good things about them. Justin is great about communication, pricing and promptness. He easily answers questions and offers recommendations on how to move forward and get the most of my trees. I appreciate doing business with someone who is so knowledgeable and answers my questions before I even ask them. If you have trees and you need to have pruning or tree removal don’t hesitate! Thank you Justin.
I am a customer for life.

Double J did a great job trimming our 4 fruit trees. They really know what they are doing and gave great tips

Called Justin needing help after a storm blew over a 25’ tree in front yard. Came out quick and did a great job. Highly recommend

Justin's crew did an awesome job trimming my trees. Raked the little limbs and pinecone up. Would highly recommend them. Great service.

Double J was awesome to work with! Timely, professional, and affordable. They did all the haul away and clean up too! Highly recommend them!

We had a great experience with Double J Tree Service. They removed a tree from our property and did a thorough stump grinding job. The crew was professional, efficient, and made sure everything was cleaned up when they were done. Their pricing was very reasonable compared to other quotes we received. Highly recommend them for anyone needing tree removal or stump grinding! We’ll definitely call them again for any future tree work.

had several tree companies come to look at the job, Justin from Double j met with me & not only did he have the lowest estimate, he had answers for all my questions, showed up when he said he would & was on time with his crew this morning. 80% done with the job by 2pm, and without a doughty I would recommend them 100%! and the things they've taken into consideration puts them at the top of their profession. the clean up throughout the job, the fact they only ran the chipper AFTER having a pile ready to go, then shutting it down & running saws in sync then shutting them down has kept the noise to a minimum(unlike the company who had done the nieghbors tree last year, that was an all day long noise nightmare -½ the size of my tree I might add)
So greatful for Justin & his team! you guys ROCK THIS COUNTY!!!

Double J Tree Service did a great job! I had a tree in my front yard that was blown down by the storm. It was blocking the side walk in front of my home so there was some urgency to get it removed. I called Double J Tree Service & was given an initial estimate within a couple hours & a formal estimate later that same day. The tree was removed within 24 hours and my yard looked as if the event had never occurred. I appreciated the friendly, knowledgeable and quick service Double J Tree Service provided. Even though I was out of town at the time, the entire process from initial contact through problem resolution and payment was very quick, easy and stress free.

Double J Tree was great to work with!
Justin is extremely knowledgeable and honest, took the time to explain what was going on with my tree I thought needed to be cut back or taken down. Just so happened not needed at this time. I ended up setting up some stump grinding on a couple stumps in my yard. He sent out John a few days later and John was great as well! I’ll definitely be using this company again in the future.

My cherry plum tree broke a large branch and it was near my fence line, Justin was quick to respond to my outreach. He was professional, reasonable, and kind. The tree was likely not able to be saved and we made a decision to have it removed. Justin squeezed me in to his schedule and communicated with me through the process. The tree removal went smoothly and he was respectful of the property, not a trace of evidence he was there except the blank space where the tree was planted. I have already scheduled him for another job at my other home and have referred him out to someone else who needs some work done. I will continue to use his services when I have a need and highly recommend Double J Tree Services to anyone in need. 5 Star service indeed!

Yo, I needed a tree service and checked with three different companies. Double J made everything stupid simple. They came out, took a look, sent an email, and shot me a quick text. As someone who hates phone calls, I appreciated that more than I can say.
Then they showed up and cut that tree down faster than Lamar cut down Drake.
Fast. Friendly. Efficient. Great work at a great price. Highly recommend.

Out of all the quotes I received this was by far the most reasonably priced for quality work! Great clean up too! Excited to get planting where my dying pine trees used to be now that the roots and stump are gone. Also ask about the military discount! We are forever grateful for our veteran own and local companies that also help us military families. Thank you for your work today Double J!

Fantastic job they did. They're fast and professional and very reasonable. I would highly recommend them.

We had three massive maple trees that needed serious attention, and Double J Tree Service absolutely delivered. From the start, it was clear they were incredibly knowledgeable and truly passionate about what they do. Justin took the time to explain the best approach, answered all our questions, and handled the job with care and precision. The results were fabulous — our trees look healthy, beautifully shaped, and our yard was spotless afterward. Highly recommend them if you’re looking for skilled professionals who love their work and do it right!

I would highly recommend Justin of Double J Tree Service LLC. His crew was on time, professional and very easy to work with. They did a great job and cleaned up everything very nicely.
