I was very pleased with the Energy Audit I received - Chris was very efficient and knowledgeable! He swapped out all my lighbulbs, explored my attic to review the insulation levels and ventilation, then shimmied down into the crawlspace to inspect the ducts were sealed properly.
He answered all my questions & asked a few of his own to help determine why I was asking or my motivation for it. I was happy to discuss options for replacing my aging water heater (tank vs tank-less) and ask his thoughts on a ductless mini-split ac/heating unit that I think would be helpful for my mother.
I was also really happy for his curiosity and expertise when my blower-door test results showed the air flow was not balanced - he ended up going back into my crawlspace (2nd time) to make a closer inspection of my ducts and the connections under my furnace - which enabled him to identify an issue. Then he provided me with clear technical jargon I can use when I call to schedule a furnace inspection and repair (so I can describe what's wrong using their vocabulary and not sound like a rube).
I highly recommend Chris and his skills! Professional, friendly, efficient but most of all very knowledgeable!

The energy audit process was amazing and so educational. Chris and John were professional, thorough, and worked well as a team. They explained what they were doing and why and were great at answering questions we had. I was so impressed and happy to have the audit done. Chris and John wrapped up about 3 PM and sent Idaho Power their report, indicating I should get it the next day. To my surprise, Idaho Power emailed the detailed audit report later that same day. Now to take the information and make an action plan to improve the home's efficiency. Sweet!

Chris was friendly, quick and thorough. I wish I had done this audit years ago, I will for sure save money and improve my energy usage. And, I finally figured out why my house smelled dusty, the furnace ductwork had leaks in it. Even the HVAC maintenace service didn't pick up on that! I highly recommend for any home owner!

I am very happy with the home energy audit Chris performed on my home. He was very knowledgeable and gave very good advice on what improvements we could make- practical improvements that don’t necessarily cost a fortune. It was particularly useful learning about how all of a homes systems (hvac, venting, insulation, etc.) all work in harmony to ease heating and cooling loads and increase comfort. Most people you talk to can tell you how one of those things can be improved but not how the changes should be integrated into a larger picture. Well worth the visit.
