A really great job. The whole process was excellent. This is a really professional crew of arborists who work together in an amazingly skillful way. The equipment is astounding as well. I had an 80 year old silver maple tree removed that was over 60' high with a 30'+ canopy very close to our house and two other trees. Timmy's crew removed it with surgical precision in about 4 hours. Highly recommended.

Update 9/9/2025: miscommunication on my part. Timmy's team came back out and made sure we were a satisfied customer. Anybody that follows up like that is worthy of anyone's business!

The reviews have been overwhelmingly good for Timmys, so I'm guessing we just must have had a miscommunication. I did reach out twice and never had a response. Pics of my top-heavy, leaning tree after a trim.

Josh's crew came out to cut down a tree. They arrive on time and were very down to earth: great to work with. The left the area clean!

In February 2026, Timmy's Tree Service trimmed a massive sycamore tree along the property line for me. The entire experience was excellent and I highly recommend them. Tim was prompt with the estimate and asked clarifying questions to understand exactly what I wanted. The price was reasonable. Dusty's crew arrived on time and worked diligently to complete the project in just 3 hours. Safety was always a priority, so they did not cut any corners. Dusty confirmed exactly what I wanted and ensured that communication was timely during the job. Their equipment is impressive to get the high limbs (spider lift) and chip (chipper) even the big stuff. Cleanup was tidy and Dusty's team did not damage either of the fences that were directly below the large limbs to be cut. Well done. I will call Timmy's Tree Service for any additional tree work.

Timmy's Tree service came out today and did an amazing job on everything from a complete tree removal, to trimming and thinning out eight other trees. Josh and the whole crew were the best to have around our property. They took extra care and pride in their work and craftsmanship. Excellent Quality, Thanks Men

The guys at Timmy’s tree service are beyond awesome. They removed two very large pine trees, three smaller pine trees and trimmed up a crab apple tree. They literally ran all day long getting the job safely done, in a smaller back yard. They communicated what they were going to do , were very friendly and worked together as a precision team. The pricing was within my budget and much cheaper than other competitors , who were also licensed, insured and certified Arborists. I am happy having a much safer back yard for myself and neighbors with the trees gone.

Timmy's Tree Service - HORRIBLE SERVICE. Please read the whole review - I've been and Idahoan since 1983 - Being new to a new neighborhood, we needed several services, one being tree trimming and removal. I requested estimates from two local business’s. One called me to schedule and called again saying they could come earlier if I wanted. Very nice. When I didn’t hear from the other service, Timmy’s Tree Service, I messaged them again, asking if we could schedule an appointment and basically what I needed done.
Timmy, the owner, arrives at our door this morning unannounced and not scheduled. My husband’s office is by the front door and he is leading a video conference call with 200+ employees. I do the scheduling only when I am available, or when I know he will be. My husband who is very thoughtful and kind, answered the door and when Timmy said what he was there for, asked if we had an appointment. Nope, he was just in the area and stopped by. My husband explained he was on a video call and kindly asked if he could schedule us in for tomorrow. Nope, Timmy does not give a schedule or make appointments, just drops by. My husband said, this would not work for us and Timmy left. Apparently, Timmy has some anger management issues aside from being completely unprofessional. He went back to his truck, wrote out an estimate in triplicate, white, yellow and pink in color, ripped it in thirty or so pieces, threw it on our driveway, along with another piece of paper with our address and directions on it, in the rain and said “Here’s your estimate, bro” and left. I have this all on video. Who does this? Not a business I would ever work with, nor recommend. So be wary of this one.
I can’t imagine, given this unreasonable aggressive behavior, he would be an easy person to deal with if you did hire him and had any type of problem. I have never experienced any business such as this.

Timmy - in response to you. I did see how the conversation went as you were on video the whole time. I made the appointment. Any yes, his business is his office. He did not slam the door in your face and you did not make contact with us prior. If my husband was available he would have met with you, but again, he works from home and was on a call. I have the video if you'd like me to post the front door conversation. Many work from home or make special arrangements to for appointments, so I find it odd you expect to just show up and have someone waiting on you without touching base, with an email, text or speaking to them. And, can you tell me why you found it necessary to rip up all the papers and throw them on our driveway? Please explain this. We are baffled any business owner would act this way. You know what you did. Let me know if you want me to post the front door video.
