We called in the AM and by the afternoon he was there fixing our doorbell. Incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and efficient. His prices are great as well. We are so grateful and will 100% be coming back for any future needs. Could not recommend enough!
-
Very impressed with Freedom Electric. He gave a very reasonable quote, excellent job with things we have struggled with for years, and then gave a military discount. We will definitely be calling him for any future electrical needs!
-
Levi the owner of Freedom Electric did a fantastic job installing our cameras for our property in Boise. He also installed an attic fan which much my husband and I greatly appreciate as our upstairs is much cooler now. Would highly recommend this Company! Thanks, Deb

We own very old farmhouse and were affected by the summer storms of 2024. Power was damaged, but we also needed to update two panels from the ancient ones that we had. Levi and his team handled all the work and completed it within the scheduled time. They passed all inspections and coordinated with Idaho power. I felt that Levi went above and beyond and did not charge extra for extra things he did. He’s pleasant to work with and I will hire him again for many more projects in the future.

Levi, the Owner of Freedom Electric, is amazing. From his professionalism to his quality work. He is punctual; showing up and doing exactly what he says he’s going to do (which has honestly been a struggle with several other contractors and companies in the Treasure Valley from my personal experience). I will never use anybody other than Freedom Electric & Construction and will refer business as much as possible. Levi has done several jobs for me and never once have I experienced any issues whatsoever. Just overall a great company to do business with!

Levi showed up on time. He was professional and his prices are more than reasonable. He made sure that I was happy with the work before he left. He even vacuumed up his mess from installing new outlets for me. He acted like everything that I asked him for was easy which made me feel like I wasn't being a pain for how picky I am. I highly recommend him. I am sending Freedom Electric to my niece’s house next 😊

Frequently asked questions
-
Is GigoPro free to use?
Yes. Browsing businesses, reading reviews, and comparing electricians is free for everyone. Business owners can create a basic listing at no cost.
-
How do you verify businesses on GigoPro?
Every profile goes through moderation before it appears in search. We check that the business is real, actively operating, and actually performs the work it claims. For regulated trades like electrical work, we look for proper licensing, and we automatically hide inactive listings.
-
How do I choose the right electrician?
Start with ratings and recent reviews, then confirm the company is licensed and insured for your specific type of work. Contact two or three providers, ask for written estimates, and compare what each quote includes, not just the bottom line.
-
Can I list my business on GigoPro?
Yes. Create a free business profile to reach local customers searching for your category. You can update services, photos, and contact details anytime, and customers can book you directly from your profile.
-
How often is the directory updated?
Business owners update their own profiles. Our team also refreshes hub pages and removes inactive listings to keep search results current. For example, this page is reviewed and updated monthly.
-
Do I need a permit for electrical work?
Most significant electrical work — new circuits, panel upgrades, rewiring, and solar installations — requires a permit and inspection in most jurisdictions. A licensed electrician handles the permit process and schedules the inspection. Ask about permits before you book.
-
How do I know if my panel needs an upgrade?
Common signs include breakers that trip often, adding major loads (EV charger, solar, heat pump, new kitchen), or still having a fuse box or a 100-amp panel. A licensed electrician can assess your panel and load capacity in a visit.
-
Are electricians on GigoPro licensed and insured?
Electrical work is regulated in every state. Ask each electrician for their license number and proof of insurance before work begins. Professional companies expect these questions and answer them without hesitation.
-
How much does electrical service cost?
Costs vary by job type, region, and complexity — there is no honest single number. Reputable electricians give written estimates after assessing the job, and comparing two or three of them is the best way to understand what your work should cost.
-
Can I leave a review after booking through GigoPro?
Yes. After your job is done, you can rate the electrician and describe your experience. Verified reviews from recent jobs help the next homeowners in your city choose well — and keep listed professionals at their best.
