Reviews of local pros in Rathdrum, Idaho

They did an excellent job. I had them remove 1 tree and trim up 2 others. The work was top notch. The crew was hard working, professional and courteous. I would recommend them 100%.

My husband and I had 25 year Aspens on our property, we were getting so tired getting the messy sugary afids cleaned off our deck. We moved to Hauser a year ago and still trying to get our yard in shape , my husband Dave is always out gardening and the trees were such a mess! We contacted Mountain View Tree Service to take out all the Aspens ! We were so happy with their service, not only did they give us an excellent affordable price but the crew that showed up were highly professional, diligent, in removing , cutting and stacking the wood from the trees but they cleaned up and left our property in beautiful shape ! We give them a 5 ⭐️ Rating !!We highly recommend Mountain View Tree Service to anyone in need of tree, stump removal ! We plan to use their service again in the future, we were highly satisfied! Thank you MVTS We really appreciate how beautiful you made our property look after your hard work !!!

Wish we could give these guys 10 stars! We needed the back 3 acres of our 5 acres thinned of dead & crowded trees & clean up of dead fallen trees along with all stumps new & old ground down. With burn as they go piles. We wound up getting 3 bids & all bids were very similar. We really liked Lee the owner & the fact he is a local business, so we went with these guys & we are so glad we did! We are skeptical nowadays with all the scams & ripoffs going on so when all bidders quoted a daily rate for this big job we thought how much or how little work would we get for our money? So we watched closely the 1st day & WOW were we impressed! 6 guys, 2 skidders & a stump grinder & these guys moved fast all day long with just a short lunch break & water breaks. We were absolutely amazed at how much they did in 1 day. Lee est. 5-6 days & they did it in 3 1/2 days & left only the stump grinding guy to finish out the 4th day. We were only charged for the 3 1/2 days & hourly for the stump guy that was left after the rest of the crew left. Super professional crew & super nice. They explained everything & had us check frequently to be sure we were happy with the progress. They cleaned up properly & left everything neat & finished better then we ever expected. We would use these guys again in a heartbeat & highly recommend them. Glad to give a reference for these guys, just ask Lee to have me call you.Very happy customers! Gary & Laura

Lee Erner with Mountain View Tree Services was an excellent choice to remove an out of control tree in our front lawn. He was prompt, professional and courteous towards our three yelping dogs watching his every move. Highly recommend this company for your lawn care needs!

He was great. Very professional, and super nice guy to work with. They did a great job on removing my tree. 10/10 would recommend

Great folks to work with. They were honest, hard working and careful. They arrived on time, worked efficiently and did a great job cleaning up afterward. I highly recommend them. They will definitely be returning to do more clearing for me.

Mtn view tree service has put together a great crew! They know what they're doing and get it done right. Top quality professionals in the tree business. I would recommend them to anyone in a second!

Did everything you want from a company. Quick, fast, and courteous. Was calling for estimates and they were the first to show up whether they were the cheapest or not could not tell you but, Lee was awesome and the price was right. If you prefer to support your local small business, I highly suggest give them a call.

Lee and his crew were awesome! Lee was super friendly and professional to deal with. They came on time, worked hard and left my yard cleaner than it was! Definitely calling them again!

Mountain View Tree Service has removed trees, trimmed limbs and ground stumps for me over a span of many years. I have always been very pleased with every aspect of the work performed. I do not hesitate to recommend them to friends and family.

Very professional crew. They are very careful. They always had their guys roped in. They left my property looking like they weren’t there except the dangerous tree next to my house was gone. Lee runs a local, family owned business that cares about the quality of the work his company does. Thanks for a job well done!

Our experience was exactly what we had expected. A knowledgeable worker (Allie - spelling?) who would complete all aspects of the job competently and thoroughly; exceeding the time frame we initially anticipated. Fantastic and well done job.

This is an excellent company to do business with. We were extremely satisfied with the work they did. We had them remove two huge trees next to our house and they did it very safely. Very affordable pricing as well.If anyone needs trees taken down I would highly recommend them...Will be using them for years to come if we need anything else done.

Lee is one of a kind. We had just moved in and there was a crazy windstorm that knocked over one of our trees in the road we was happening to drive by stopped. Took care of the tree in my life. So much better. He is such an honest, warm, kind tree guy. You won't regret doing business with him.

Second time using Mountain View, same as the first . Excellent.! 2 cedars and 2 stumps gone and a squirrel hotel placed 50 feet up a pine tree in an hour. I wish more contractors were as professional as Lee and his crew. I highly recommend Mt. View.

Lee was very helpful and informative. We have a sick Norwood Maple and needed some advice and Lee has gotten us from point A to point B in the recovery and healing process for our once beautiful tree. I highly recommend Mountain View Tree Service.

Lee and his crew were very knowledgeable and did an outstanding quality job of trimming our trees and Japanese Maple bushes. We highly recommend Mountain View Tree Service for all your tree maintenance needs.

Friendly, fast and competent service. I had used the same tree service in Hayden for 20 years. I can no longer afford their inflated prices. Lee and his crew are excellent.

Lee and his crew were professional and courteous from the bid straight through to completion. He took the time to educate me on the health of my trees, made recommendations without trying to sell me something I didn’t need, and worked within my budget concerns to get the most bang for my buck. His crew made sure to take care of my property as much as possible while they removed a very large tree from my backyard which was threatening the house structure

They also made sure to preserve the family heirloom/memories of another tree while pruning it, ensuring it will continue to grow and thrive. I felt like he really considered my desires to keep the childhood memories of our family while also taking care of basic safety and pruning of the fir….. he preserved the sentimental value of the tree exactly as my adult children and I expressed our wishes to do.

Would 100% recommend this company (and have) to my friends and family!!! I’ll be using them again for some large tree issues in my front yard next season.

We called for estimate and Lee came out same day. He was professional & friendly. We felt comfortable & trusted him. His crew did the job, grinding tree stump. We were pleased with the job and definitely recommend his company.

I hired Mountain View Tree Service to trim trees surrounding a rental duplex I own. Lee's price was very fair, he showed up to do the work as promised and did a great job! I will absolutely use for future tree service needs!
