Pines HVAC/Duct Clean

Beware of Pines HVAC / Duct Cleaning. This duct cleaning service is worthless. I hired this company for HVAC duct cleaning at their advertised price of $239, for my 1 bedroom condo that only has 1 return air duct and 4 ceiling vents. While the technicians arrived on time, they were unprofessional in demeanor and seemed upset I wouldn't allow them to perform inspections for "additional service that might be needed". I explained to the technician that I didn't want or need additional services and only wanted the HVAC vent cleaning service performed per the order I placed with his office. He didn't even remove the vent covers and proceeded to place a large hose against one of the ceiling vents, (and in doing so damaged the ceiling paint considerably). When questioned how the other vent openings would be cleaned he said it didn't matter that all the vents are connected together. The technician then said he would wait in his car and let the machine run for 20 minutes. The technician came back, removed the vacuum tube, still never opened any vent covers, and showed me that the filter in the machine had some dust. (Of course I have no way of knowing the filter wasn't already dirty from a previous job.) Needless to say, after the technician left I opened the return air duct vent and it was full of dust and debris just the same as before this service was performed. I'm now left to hire a painter for the ceiling area that was damaged by the technician along with hiring a more reputable service to clean the HVAC ducts. Pines HVAC cleaning service is a waste of time and MONEY!!!
