I hired them to have a 60 foot oak tree removed from my backyard. It was only 10 feet from my house and in my small, fenced in backyard. I was very concerned about this being done without any damage. Not only did they expertly remove the tree and grind the stump with no damage to anything, but their final price was half as much as the next cheapest estimate. Wonderful work.

Empire Tree Removal Services provided a competitive quote, the work was completed on the day that was scheduled. They were so quick to respond, communicated when they were coming, and showed up on time. The workmen were very friendly and easy to work with. I love how our large Oak trees look after they were done and they also clean up nicely afterwards. I'm very satisfied with the service.

We've used Empire Tree Removal on a property we own in town and they are great. Professional, on-time and a good value. When we bought the property the trees hadn't been taken care of in years. Mark and his team came in and assessed the situation, canopied the trees that needed it and took down some others. They also worked to remove the vines that were harming the Pines. A large maple tree in my backyard was struck by lightning, causing a huge branch to split from the tree. I called Smitty’s. Chaz came over and gave me a very fair price. The crew removed the limb the next day. They handled the job professionally. The service I received from Chaz and the Smitty’s crew was great.

Needed two trees taken down. Smittys called me the same day and then within a few days had an estimate. A few days after that, the trees were gone quick and easy. They returned after for the stump grinding and my yard looks great! They gave me the Valpak discount without me even having to ask.

I am writing on behalf of Smitty's Tree Service. To my dismay, 5 weed trees grew around my house this summer. I have been living in this house for 17 years and these trees never grew before.

I have contracted with Smitty's Tree Service twice now. We live on the edge of woods and unwelcome visitors from that domain occasionally need trimming or removal. Both jobs involved old overgrown mulberry trees. Tired of continually having those trees cut back I asked Smitty's to cut them down to ground level. I was impressed with the skill of the work crew each time. Not a wasted motion and they always acted in a safe manner. I would definitely call on Smitty's for similar work in the future.

great experience, and the only problem was the crappy Illinois weather that slowed the process down (1-2 weeks). All stump removal/tree removal was done within a day and price was reasonable given the amount needed to be done. Highly recommend!

I had a Birch tree that needed to be cabled. So after calling Smitty's and someone coming out and giving me a quote, the crew came on the scheduled day and was on time and very professional. They let me know what they were doing all through the process and when they finished, they asked me if I had any questions or concerns. Would definitely use them again for future services.

The 6+ guys that came out to do the job did it quickly and safely, and even cleaned up as they went. The tree was huge and just about dead, and big branches would fall off all the time. At first I thought the cost to cut down the tree was too high but after watching them work and the process to cut it down, it was worth the price, and I truly appreciate the work they do and the professionalism they maintained. A Tornado came thru on Monday night 7/15. Our home was on the direct path. We had massive damage. 2 huge Catalpa trees down and limbs all over the yard. Contacted Smitty's on Tuesday. The estimator,Sandy, came by next day about 10am. One Catalpa was hung up in another tree. Otherwise it would have demolished my neighbors house. Sandy was awesome and had a crew at my house by 1:30pm. Crew work very hard all afternoon on this difficult job. No damage was done to the neighbors house. The following week the crew was back out to finish the job and remaining trees that were on the ground. There was no question who to call, Smitty is our first choice! Amazing work, fast response time, everyone is so professional. Top notch service from beginning to end!

I needed 4 trees on my property removed so I interviewed several tree removal contractors. Smitty's Tree Service Inc had the most experience and offered the best value for my money. Smitty's arrived to my property with many sparkly red trucks that were CLEAN and HUGE. Also, the large crew was culturally diverse and 100 percent professional from the beginning to the end of the job. All 4 trees are now gone and the stumps have also been removed. Had 1 small shrub removed. Was completed within 5 days of calling. Came back 3 days later to grind truck down. Wonderful, quick service. Also gave me suggestions on what to replace in area. Very knowledgeable.
