I cannot recommend this company enough! When my cat got stuck dangerously high in a tree, I was panicking. Even though it was a last-minute emergency call, their team responded immediately and came right out. They handled the entire rescue safely, professionally, and with so much kindness. Incredible team and top-notch service—I can't thank them enough for saving my cat!

I’ve used Long Branch three times now. Great service and great pricing. They went above and beyond. Hired them to cut out a large quantity of weed trees that had grown into a wire fence. Mentioned I wanted to take the fence down, came home from work and all the trees were down as well as the fence. All cleaned up and looked fantastic. Thank you Long Branch! Saved me a ton of work.

Really disappointed in our brief experience with Long Branch, formerly Granberg Treeworks. Gary was always great, but Matt, one of the brothers who took over Granberg Treeworks, came by to look at a problem I was having from a tree Granberg had cut down and began talking to me like I was an idiot from our first in person interaction. The tree was taken out a couple of years ago, and the roots keep sending up suckers all over the yard, and it just keeps getting worse. Matt's initial statement was that it wasn't possible that everything was coming from the roots and what I had was seedlings, then halfway through the five minutes he was here, he started referring to them as suckers because it was clear that's what they indeed were. He was getting irritated because I was asking what they would do because the company they took over failed to completely kill the tree when grinding the stump (one of the primary goals of stump grinding). He grabbed one of the biggest suckers and started tearing it out, stating, "There, I did half of the job for free." Doing so threw dirt all over the sidewalk. He then stated that was all he could do for me and walked away, leaving the mess on the sidewalk and tossed the long sucker branches onto the yard and about 95% of the remediation from the failure of the stump grinding NOT done since I have suckers coming up all over my yard on three sides of my house up to ~100 feet away from the tree!!!

I let Matt know that this would reflect in a review, and his last words were, "We didn't even do the work!" Well, you can assume ownership of and rename a company, but the work under what the company was formerly known as is still attached, and ultimately, the way he talked to me and the mess left on my sidewalk are direct experience with and reflect poorly on Long Branch.

I had an excellent experience with Long Branch Tree Services. The team was professional and very efficient. They cleaned up thoroughly afterwards and were willing to cut additional branches on my other trees as a spur of the moment on my end. Highly recommend!

I have had Matt and Cody out in the past to remove a tree. It was complicated and a tight spot. They know their business! They did a great job! They blend the art and science of tree removal and tree trimming really well.

I had them out recently for some dormant tree pruning, and they take their time to understand and walk your property with you. They ask you to look at everything when they’re done. They make great suggestions and have a real eye for this business. They really do want to help your yard look it’s best. And they know their trees. It also helps that they’re interesting and fun guys.

WOW! Had a 60 foot tree needing to come down because it was splitting at the first Y intersection (see picture) and precariously looming over the house. The tree had provided shade for the majority of our backyard and entertainment for the kids with three different swings hanging from its limbs; and as I had alluded to, it had limbs that extended over the house, as well as the backyard sheds and patio area. Longbranch safely, quickly, and successfully removed the tree and stump.

Matt and Cody are easy to work with, good communicators, personable, professional, and provided very competitive pricing (we received estimates from a handful of tree services in the area). They are very knowledgeable about trees; tree preservation and safety were clearly top priorities, but this tree was possibly detrimental to our family and neighbors safety due to the gnarly split. While discussing price options, we came to an agreement about being able to use pieces of the trunk to provide seating around our firepit, and save thicker limbs to make future firewood. They even offered to rehang the swings on a different tree, if that had been an option. Throughout the process, safety was clearly a consideration in their approach and the backyard has never been cleaner. They are great people and amazing at what they do. I highly recommend Longbranch.

Reached out to Mall's because I wanted to patronize a local tree service. Frank was out same day to quote and his rates were very reasonable. Work was partially done within two days (four trees removed and one tree trimmed), just waiting on stumps to be ground as his equipment failed the day before. But the tree removal and trimming services were top notch. Will definitely use them again and will recommend to others.

Needed a large elm tree that was partially overhanging the corner of my house removed safely. Also, two conifers in my side yard were in a narrow section between my house and fence, touching the roof - they had to be removed as well. All three were safely brought down in sections using cranes, ropes, and climbers. Stumps ground out, even the elm which had been planted in an unusual spot touching my concrete patio. All workers were professional and skilled. Price reasonable for the amount of work expected. Completed in four hours, all branches through a chipper, and the yard raked clean. Would certainly reuse their services.
