The only plumbing company that I will use. Technician was soooo nice and helpful. Explained everything to me and honestly the first time I didn’t feel like I was being swindled by a plumbing service. I wish I remembered the technician’s name because he was excellent and deserves recognition

Ehret saves the day!!!
Warning this is long.
I bought a house in July of 2017, which is 40 years old, but passed the very thorough home inspections with flying colors. Even the home 23-year veteran home inspector stated that it was one of the best, if not the best, maintained homes for its age he'd ever inspected. Fast-forward 4 months after the purchase, and that is when our plumbing problems began. Out of nowhere our basement shower started to overflow sewage (GROSS!!!). I decided to have the line scoped with a camera. This is when the 1st company I called out for this sole purpose, showed up out of the scheduled time frame, without their camera, had the name wrong name on the invoice and knew nothing of the special they were running (which was the main reason we called them). I needed this done badly and did not feel like having another company come out and having to explain everything, again, so we rescheduled with them for the next day. This time I met the tech at my house and watched the whole process while he ran the camera. He ran the camera through the line and told me the line went under my pool (in-ground) and had a huge belly (1st time I heard that term, but yes it is a real thing) in the line because the weight of the pool, over time, pushed a portion of the line down. He then told me that this was going to be a HUGE job and that the owner of the company may have to get involved (oh great...). A week goes by for them to put some numbers together and get back to me. Then they tell me it will be 15 THOUSAND DOLLARS to fix this belly in my line! WTH! They wanted to cap off the existing line from the house, then run a whole "new" line around the pool, which is where they said it should have been put in the 1st place, and not under the pool (remember that part). This process entailed tearing out and moving my vanity in the basement bathroom, cutting a hole in the wall, jack hammering the foundation, breaking out the concrete wall, inserting a sewage ejector, then going outside and moving my AC, digging a trench by the house where the AC once was, breaking out my patio and/or sidewalk, running the "new" line around the pool, which would need over 200 feet of trench. After hearing all this, plus the amount they wanted to charge me, I did what any sane person would do, I called for a second opinion. Thank God I did! I contacted Ehret and they had somebody come out early Saturday morning to assess the problem. The gentleman's name was Jodie (think I am spelling that correctly). He was very thorough and explained to me, perhaps most importantly, that my line DOES NOT run under the pool. Coincidently, my line already runs where the "NEW" line, proposed by the other company that wanted to run the $15k line. Yeah, that’s right, the line was already where the other company said it should be. Furthermore, the "belly" I have in my line was not that significant and not worth addressing at this time, or, causing me the problems I had been experiencing. Jodie ran his camera all the way to end where it met the main and ran into an obstruction! The other company stopped at the"belly" saying it was my problem. Ehret freed small amount of the root from the line. As soon as he did, my whole line began to drain out. It was completely full of water before that. After that day, I have had ZERO issues. I was able to run everything in my house at once with no backups. Before, I could barely do a load of laundry, now I could run the super duper load in the washing machine; run the dishwasher, have the kids taking baths and showers simultaneously, with toilets flushing too. No more running downstairs to see if the shower is backing up while doing a load of laundry, just to have to sprint back upstairs to turn it off once the shower starts to back up. I am truly grateful for Ehret’s professionalism; no upselling model and in general no pressure approach. Not having to spend $15K on plumbing which was not even necessary is a weight off our shoulders as a family, and it is all thanks to Ehret! I highly recommend them to anyone! -
Best service company in the area so far. Had them fix a toilet flange and when we needed water heater repair I new I should call them back. Company is very responsive and knowledgeable. Great service. I will be using them again.

Our furnace stopped working on the eve of Thanksgiving, with company from out of town in the house(of course), Ehret’s had somebody on the property and resolved the problem in a very short time and reasonable charge. Thankful for the good service. It pays to call a local company.

Great service. Able to get on site quickly and diagnosed problem fast. Easy to contact and their emergency numbers aren’t answered by a service. At least at the time of this writing the emergency line went straight to a person who was able to get a plumber at more door under 24 hours during severe weather and extremely cold temperatures.

Same-day appointment, once they looked over my A/C unit they gave me the option of replacing a fan motor or pricing a whole new A/C- no pressure to pick the new unit. Replaced my fan motor and even cleaned up the unit. It was expensive, as these things tend to be, but I didn't feel gouged. All in all it was great to get cool air moving again

We just had Bob from Ehret come and replace a fill valve in our toilet. He was professional, timely, and so sweet. Plus, he fixed the issue! Thank you Bob and Ehret :)

Our main sewer backed up late on a Saturday afternoon. We called Ehret and within 30 minutes Garrett was out our house. First off-that's outstanding!
He did a cursory inspection and then proceeded to "wire" out the main line. Nearly an hour later he was finally able to remove a 2' knot of roots that had entered our waste line.
He scheduled a follow on to correct the bigger problem, but got us back in action very quickly. He was very professional, and explained everything on easy to understand ways. Their prices were also very reasonable, especially considering the short notice on a weekend.
We'll be calling them in the future for any plumbing needs. -
I called several plumbing companies to have our tankless water heater looked at the same day, and it was a no go, just than I was going to give up, but found Ehret. They sent out Nick and Jody to get it look at. All I can say is professionals right here. Will use them again.

We called Ehret for water that was leaking in our basement today, near our sub-pump. We though it was due to freezing water. The tech, Garrett immediately recognized it was the Pressure Release Valve. He took plenty of time to explain everything and answer all our questions about this issue, and several other issues at our house. He was actually a gifted teacher using adhoc props to make for simple explanations. The total repair was more than what I was expecting, but that just may be the going rate. He was professional and very response to any and all questions we had. The only downside is it did take longer than what I was originally told on the phone. They did, however, call to tell us it was taking longer. The gave a new window of time and then called us later when he was about 20 minutes away.

We had an issue with frozen pipes due to extreme cold weather recently and contacted Ehret based on a referral. That was a great referral for us! On a Saturday evening in zero degree weather, Ehret identified the problem over the phone and were at our house in less than an hour (when it was a busy night for them, I'm sure).
The technician, Dennis, was very professional and respectful of us and got right to work. He was able to explain the problem and possible solutions so we could understand and feel comfortable. Within an hour, he had the problem solved and we had peace of mind that everything was going to be fine. Thank you, Dennis for your help. -
I want to especially mention Bob. He was efficient, extremely helpful and personable. He fixed the toilet that would not stop running and replaced my old garbage disposal.
Both jobs were done quickly. He offered helpful advice.
I am very pleased with Ehret’s response and service. -
Ehret is the company I always call for any plumbing or HVAC repair as all their technicians are skilled, dependable and trustworthy. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

I called Ehret Plumbing at 6:36 am and a technician came at 9:00 a.m. to replace my outdoor spigot. He was so courteous and reliable as well as efficient. The spigot was replaced in one hour and I was very pleased with the results.

Nick and his partner did great work.

Ehret has always been great at my place of business. I have used both their plumbing side and their HVAC side. Mercedes in the office is very nice and cordial. She does everything she can to get someone out there on the same day. Highly recommend. They are also still one of the cheapest around per hour.
