Reviews of local pros in Bellwood, Illinois

I have used Winkler for years. I’ve never been disappointed. Very responsive and they clean up after the job is complete. Highly advise them.

Joshua gave us a quote, made some suggestions and proposed a fair price. His team came out, handled the job and left the area clean and tidy. Overall a great experience.

Trimmed four mature trees(20+years)maple, linden, ornamental pear and blue spruce. Professional, knowledgeable, friendly and safety conscious— job well done

Trimmed some trees along property line. Orlando Garza was great taking the time to make sure the neighbors were notified and happy with the service. I am Very Happy with the results. The trees always look better and healthier after a trimming.

The project was nicely and professionally done.
Thank you for your respect to our property.
Looking forward to the upcoming project of tree trimming our oak tree in November.

Winkler Tree & Lawn Care provided our tree pruning needs this year. The crew was very professional and accomplished everything we contracted them for. Scheduling was fast and efficient. We will be using them for our future tree needs and recommend the firm for anyone looking for a well-established, experienced expert tree firm.

Winklers did a GREAT job trimming a tree that really needed help. I thought the tree might have to be dug up and turned into firewood NOPE! Winklers did a beautiful job trimming and reshaping the tree.It did more! The tree looks beautiful again I wouldn't hesitate getting Winklers gin for another project. Thanks Winklers!!!

I live in Brookfield, IL. Winklers apparently won the bid on a contract last year for pruning the parkway trees. As a horticulturist, I feel for the trees that didn’t deserve the “professional” cuts that were made to our mature parkway trees. Maybe the city requested it (doubtful), but whoever was in charge of training and the foreman of these crews should have known better and stopped it from happening to hundreds and hundreds of trees. Obviously, there was no (certified) arborist around while this was done. Anyone who cares and knows about proper pruning techniques wouldn’t have let this happen. But here we are, damage done.

I am so grateful to this company. We are first time homeowners and moved into an old home with a massive tree directly next to the house. It was causing me so much stress and I was determined that the tree needed to be removed. Pat, the arborist, sent me a very detailed quote and was able to do significant trim back of the tree without tree removal. They also removed several overgrown shrubs. When I was concerned that the tree needed to be cut back further, he came to reassess and had the team back out to cut back more. Their prices were extremely fair and the whole team was so knowledgeable and trustworthy. I would recommend them to anyone, especially first time home owners with severe tree anxiety! They are a fabulous company.

Crew was friendly and professional. Arborist was very helpful in determining exactly what needed to be done.
Significant trimming provided much needed sunlight in a yard where trees were well established. Tree take down was fast and stump grinding met my expectations.
Probably a little pricer than others but dependability and confidence in there recommendations made it worth it.
Also loved the complete cleanup they did with stray leaves and branches.
Highly Recommend !

Have used these guys for several years. They have great pricing and do exceptional work. This visit Mario was the foreman. We walked through the job site and Locke at each of 4 trees to be pruned and another to be removed. He made recommendations about which branches could be removed. They are truly experts. A few of my neighbors have hired them largely based on my recommendations and the way they operated and the finished job.

They did a wonderful job! Thank You. The overgrown trees in the alley were trimmed and dead branches on the mulberry tree were cut away. Yes, I will be calling on Winkler Tree and Lawn Care again soon!

The team was professional, detailed, and took the time to move grill and patio furniture and place back in place when the job was completed. They were also cognizant and respectful of my neighbors property line. Price point was the best out of three quotes. Highly recommend.

Estimator knew all the trees on the property, and any issues related to them. Declined to trim Swamp Oak until dormant, which is the right call. Did a great job with maintenance and clearance pruning. Cres members that did work were nice to work with, and listened to my requests carefully.

Joe Project Manager was phenomenal. The Contractor/Crew were professional, courteous and observant of the Customer opinion. I'm extremely Happy; My Neighbor expressed a great opinion of the Job completed. Thank you Winkler Tree Service!!😊

I just had Winkler out to do a tree removal and bush pruning, and they did a great job. They responded promptly when I called, they came when they said they would, they did an excellent job on the tree removal, stump grinding and shaping the bushes. I was very happy with their service and will not hesitate to use them again.

We had a very large tree down from high winds. I contacted Winkler and had an estimate the next day. The removal crew arrived when promised, cut up the fallen tree and restored the property to good condition. Even the small branches and twigs were raked and removed. The crew was very professional, courteous, and efficient. I highly recommend Winkler Tree &Lawn Care.

For over 20 years and spanning two residential properties, the Winkler team has been my absolute go-to provider for tree and lawn services. Extremely knowledgeable, capable, and reliable -- Winkler delivers results I can count on year after year. What more do you need?

I had my mature Red Maple, Honey Locust and Redbud trees perfectly pruned this September, as I have for many years, by Winkler Tree and Lawn Care. Their Arborist Joshua Rumbley and his crew are highly professional and a pleasure to work with.
Highly Recommended.

Winkler Tree Service provided another high level customer service experience while cutting down one of our trees. On time at 8am as requested. They were done in under 2 hours and cleaned up all the debris so it looked like they were never there.
I highly recommend their tree cutting services and will use them again in the future

The crew from Winkler removed brush and grinded down the stumps in my yard. They completed these tasks in timely manner because they had the right tools and an adequate number of workers for the job. I would definitely contact this company again for future projects.
