After the system was up and running, I had my final walk through with Angelo. He did a great job explaining all the components of the systems, as well as the do’s and don’ts. He answered all my questions and didn’t make me feel rushed. Customer service was awesome too! There were ups and downs during the process, but after everything was completed and passed inspection. I would certainly feel comfortable recommending them to anyone.

Panels actually do very well in the winter we learned. For those who don't know, they operate by UV rays and not just heat. So we got some installed by this company just last week. Everyone was very friendly here. Mac helped out a lot with all the questions we had. In the end we got exactly what we were looking for.

We gave Windy City our Energy Bill and they gave us a breakdown of our savings. No money was owed upfront for installation and they've offered a payment plan to make the whole process of owning panels much easier. We got our panels installed in June and bills are now nothing. We recently learned how to sell our energy back to comed. Terrific experience overall!

We got a roof replacement and solar panel installed from the same company! After being told that our roof needed to be fixed before they could put panels on, we started looking for roofers who wouldn't charge an arm and a leg. When we found this business and learned they provide both services, it was perfect!

We worked with Windy City in the past to update our roof and gutters a few years ago. We recently worked with them again, only this time we got solar installed to our home after thinking it over for more than a year. We spoke for a couple weeks on the process. I gave them our electric bill and they said solar would make a noticeable difference in the long run. That was over a month ago. We barely paying anything now and I’m looking for to a Summer of even more savings. We decided to make it happen especially with the promotion they have going on. 12 months no payments. Huge thank you to Alex for working with us and getting all of our questions answered.

Windy City Solar Group was amazing threw the entire process from getting me a proposal to showing me the design & my current usage vs monthly payments with my state & federal tax incentives. The permit process was quick maybe a week. Windy City even reached out to ComEd to set up an approval for Net Metering so they could install my panels. I have one whole year to make a payment on the solar panel system witch i plan on paying a large of amount of the system off come tax time, so my incentives kick in for lower monthly payments. Definitely, worth the wait we plan on ordering a Tesla this fall so the saving will be huge with gas prices very high. Great Company!

I've been researching solar panels for awhile now but didn't move forward until I came across an article online from this business. It was very honest about the pros and cons for going solar in Chicago. I sent windy city info on our energy usage and the layout of our home.
They came by and spoke to us more in person. After a few emails and a couple phone calls we decided to move forward with a 12 panel system. We didn't owe a lump sum, payment has been spread out, which has made this a much better experience overall. We've definitely noticed some nice changes on our bill and we're honestly just happy that we're able to support the environment. -
Lots of information was given on savings, benefits, tax stuff and estimated costs that turned out to be the actual price. After inspecting my roof they were able to factor how many panels would be needed to eliminate energy bills entirely. A few days after the installation they contacted me and told me I can now turn everything on. They went over the ins and outs of the system in person. This place had great service and the workers had nice attention to detail.

We closed on our home in July and our first major purchase was going to be solar. I spoke with about 4 different companies. Before reaching out to anyone I did a lot of research myself. So I had a pretty good idea on pricing, systems and what to look for in a company. The big difference with Windy city and our other options in the area was their pricing structure and their ability to help repair a few areas of our roof before install. Other companies just weren't able to offer what they did.
