I had some trouble in the past finding suitable plants and shrubs for my north facing front garden beds, but the folks here gave great advice on many options for me to use. They really know their stuff here. I opted for delivery which was very affordable and installed myself, but they do offer installation as well. Don't look any further for your landscape supply company, this one's it.

not only was my conversation over the phone good my experience in the store and talking with the manager was enlightening. This gentleman really cared for his community to make sure that they got the best product and that they truly knew how to use an implement it. from the novice all the way to the more experienced people person he could recommend or alternative solutions to fix what's happening with your lawn or garden. it was well worth the drive from sycamore Illinois.

I love Home Landscape Materials! I use them for our mulch purchases and cant say enough about how great the staff is there. Our mulch gets delivered on time all the time. The staff is helpful, the pricing is right, and I will continue using them as long as I can!

Mixed review for this place. They do great work when they respond. But I had a issue with the last project. I have called four times, spoke with someone each time, and was told I would get a call back. So far, no call backs and this is very disappointing as I am unable to resolve this issue.

Awesome experience. Spent ~4k, worth every dollar. Got trees, shrubs and some landscaping. Very professional and did everything above and beyond.

All the plants and rock were a good price. The grass seed they picked out for my erosion problem worked out great, I thought the erosion was going to be a big problem but they just educated me that I just needed different grass.

Will definitely use them for all future landscaping needs.

Manuel and Victor!!! Oh my!!! How diligently they mastered the burying and grading of a 95' sump pump drain pipe AND a 15' gutter pipe all in 1 day!!!

The bushes in the front of our home were way over grown. I wasn't sure what we needed to do. We called Home Landscape Materials and spoke with Tim Tuch. Tim had great ideas for our project his designs were perfect.
The job was finished just yesterday and we couldn't be happier. Augie and Victor were very professional and hard working. Thank you all for the great experience.

Great selection of trees! The staff were very kind and helpful in showing us around, and they helped us load up the tree on our way out. Could tell that these folks genuinely enjoy working with plants and know what they’re doing.
Also, found it to be a better value compared to some other nurseries in the area for the tree we were looking for.

I had the most amazing patient help. I enjoyed my visit immensely. I loved the selection! I did notice that the pricing some items was much higher than site one or even the growing place. I'd go back because I loved the selection. Especially the selection on rose of sharon. I want more! There was a lovely young man who was so patient. Even though I over paid a lil on some items, I am going to give it 5 stars because the service I recived was caring and amazingly exceptional. I needed someone to be patient as I pulled together long overdue plantings!
I may go back for more of those white columnar rose of sharons! Gorgeous. Thank you for the amazing weekend experience!

Bought plants early this year. They look dead. The guy at the place said he would not take them back for full price. He would give me money off. Thought they were guaranteed for a year. He said only if they planted them could I get a full refund. Won’t buy from them again!

It'd be nice if a company would put down.Hey, we're only up until five now on Our website, instead of just putting it on a voicemail on their phone directory... It's great when a contractor gets done with the job and goes to try to get material and can't.Because the negligence of the company that he's supposed to go to get it from... We'll just continue to use other companies. Instead of trying to rely on you.

A pleasure to work with from start to finish! Tom Jr. replied quickly, quoted a very reasonable price, answered all my questions, and scheduled the work promptly. He remained on site, helping out with the work, for the entire project. The whole crew was pleasant, hard working, and willing to go above and beyond the level of service one would expect. Lastly, he stands behind what he sells. Home Landscape Materials has the best selection of plants, the best people, and the best service! They are our go-to landscape supplier!

This company has been doing the landscaping in my neighborhood since I moved in and I’m very impressed.

Absolutely the worst service or lack of service I do not believe these workers no anything about landscaping

Typical apartment complex "landscapers" who have no respect for the HOMEOWNERS in townhouse community. Workers are trained to run huge mowers without a care where they are needlessly sending streams of grass cuttings, then swing blowers back and forth mindlessly (blowing foundation dirt into screens/windows and patio doors and dirt onto patio furniture).

They want their contract pay, so they mow in the rain. They mow in drought. Their idea of removing fallen and cut tree and shrub debris is running mower in loops, over and over to "mulch" it into the grass, depriving it of nitrogen, requiring an application of fertilizer and a core aeration.

They groom shrubs all the same, balls or rectangles, regardless of the natural growth pattern of the shrub.

Use them only for commercial properties in industrial complexes!

Unfortunately this company currently has the contract with my HOA. Wow do they do horrible work. The mowed today May 19 after getting around 6 inch of rain recently. We had standing water and they just continued to “mow” aka mud up the yards. This company is more worried about doing mass quantities instead of quality work.
