Joseph Pacella and his team were amazing!! They cleaned up the water damage area of my basement, dried everything out, and used medical grade solutions on the damaged wood. Water damage was also found coming from the floor above- my kitchen had moisture in the cabinets and the ground was wet half way into the kitchen. Everything had to be pulled out. Joseph Pacella is a pro at working with insurance companies and did a full transformation on my house. Floors were done, pack out of all furniture and everything brought back into my house afterwards. The flooring was stunning! We were out of the house and in a hotel for the timeframe needed. Once we worked together to put our new kitchen back together, the finished product was astounding!! I would highly highly recommend Joseph Pacella for any water damage in your home. He is extremely efficient, on top of everything, very communicative, knows the in’s and out’s of his industry, and very dependable. I’m so grateful to had the chance to work with him and his team throughout this process.

Hydroforce took care of my dad’s basement. Very efficient and professional. Kimberly, Rodolfo and Joel had everything completed in a timely manner and assured us Joe or our Project Manager would be in touch. To reach out if I had further questions. Very happy with the work.

I am not typically the kind of person to write or leave bad reviews about businesses, but my particular experience with Hydroforce left such a bad taste in my mouth that it is still bothering me a couple of months after the fact. When our upstairs neighbors' washing machine overflowed, we found Hydroforce. We were very happy with the mitigation service that they provided. One of the papers they had me sign stated that if my insurance was not going to cover all of the services they provided that I would pay for the remaining balance out of pocket. This seemed standard, and I was verbally assured that insurance would HAVE to cover everything that they were doing in my home. Surprise surprise, when it came time for my insurance company (State Farm) to pay the bill, they did pay most of it but had questions about certain services that Hydroforce had provided, such as use of antimicrobials and HEPA vacuuming. State Farm did not outright deny paying for those services, but they were refuting them and needed more explanation from Hydroforce about why those services were rendered. Meanwhile, while I was trying to understand and sort this out with State Farm, Hydroforce was sending me harsh emails every Monday and Thursday, demanding that we pay the remaining outstanding balance of $539. I responded to Hydroforce via e-mail explaining that I was trying to sort it out with my insurance company so that I could understand who owed what. Then a Hydroforce employee called me and explained that if I just paid the remaining balance to them that I could submit my receipt to State Farm and that State Farm would have to reimburse me. State Farm, however, said this was not an appropriate solution and that they would still not be able to reimburse me for those line items of the bill until they had further information from Hydroforce. There was also confusion about which line items constituted the outstanding balance, because the totals for those services were not adding up to the stated $539. Then, for a couple of weeks, State Farm was telling me that they were trying to call Hyrdroforce, but that Hydroforce was stonewalling them. My agent informed me that she would call Hyrdoforce, the answering person would ask for her name and the claim that she was calling about, and then they would immediately hang up on her. She had another agent try to call, and same thing happened. The agents told me they have never experienced anything like this. When I asked Hydroforce why they were no longer willing to communicate with State Farm, I was told, “We have already provided everything they need.” I got zero response to my last couple of phone calls and emails to Hydroforce. I still had questions about the balance… what made up the $539? Was there mold found during the inspection? What was the justification for using antimicrobials and HEPA vacuuming? But Hydroforce stone-walled me too! I couldn’t believe it. We never got those answers.. And then the final kick while we were down… Hydroforce filed an intent to place a lien on our property. After only 30 days!!! It said we had 10 days to pay the balance of $539, or a lien would be placed on our property. So out of fear, we shelled out this $539, which could have potentially been covered by insurance. We were manipulated, bullied, and strong-armed into paying this money. Hydroforce took advantage of us and our situation, implementing services in our home that were not warranted, and then forced us into paying this sum when our insurance company called them out on it. Their business practices are totally unethical. We had already paid a $500 deductible… so to add $539 on top of that, to a company treating us like such garbage, was a tough pill to swallow. I hope that extra $539 really means a lot to Hydroforce, because losing it meant a lot to our family of four (a nurse, a teacher, and two young children), especially right before the holidays. If you need water mitigation services, GO WITH SOMEONE ELSE!! There are many other companies out there, and they all surely operate with more integrity than this.

We had a major flood in our basement right when my aunt was recovering from hip surgery, so the timing could not have been worse. Hydroforce sent Oscar out as our project manager, and he honestly made the whole situation so much easier on our family. He walked my uncle through every part of the process, explained what needed to be done, and kept everyone updated so we never had to worry. With everything going on, Oscar’s communication and professionalism brought a lot of peace of mind. He handled the basement, coordinated the crew, and made sure everything was done quickly and correctly. Hydroforce really made the whole process smooth and stress-free, and Oscar was a big reason why. If you ever deal with water damage, he’s the guy you want helping you.Oscar and the crew was amazing. Thank you Hydroforce

I recently had the unfortunate experience of dealing with a significant water leak in my home, which left me feeling overwhelmed and stressed. Thankfully, I found Hydroforce Cleaning and Restoration, and I can't say enough wonderful things about their service!
From the moment I contacted them, Joe and his team, including Dave, were incredibly responsive and professional. They arrived promptly to assess the situation and immediately put me at ease with their expertise and reassurance. Dave took the time to explain the entire cleaning and restoration process, making sure I understood each step and felt confident in their approach.
They efficiently extracted the water, thoroughly dried the affected areas, and diligently set up dehumidifiers to prevent any further damage. It was evident that Joe and Dave knew exactly what they were doing, and they worked seamlessly together, displaying a genuine commitment to restoring my home to its former condition.
Not only did they handle the technical aspects with skill, but they also took the time to address my concerns throughout the process. When the job was completed, I was thoroughly impressed by the results. The professionalism, dedication, and expertise of the Hydroforce team have truly exceeded my expectations.
I highly recommend Hydroforce Cleaning and Restoration to anyone facing water damage issues. Joe, Dave, and their team made a stressful situation much more manageable with their outstanding service. -

⭐ 1 Star
If I could give zero stars, I would.
I had a very troubling experience with Hydroforce Cleaning & Restoration Inc. On December 17th, I contacted them for emergency service after a pipe burst in my townhome, flooding my unit and my neighbor’s. When I called, I specifically asked if they handled plumbing repairs and was told yes. I also informed them that I had opened a claim with Allstate and provided the claim number.
When the technician arrived, I noticed their truck did not list plumbing services. I was then told I would need to call a separate plumber. That was not what I was told when I scheduled the service. Since water still needed to be extracted from my first floor, I allowed them to proceed. The extraction took approximately one hour.
The following day, I hired Four Seasons to repair the pipe for $399 — well below my $2,100 deductible. I immediately contacted Allstate and canceled my claim. Allstate advised me to notify Hydroforce that I would not be going through insurance.
When I called Hydroforce to inform them, the technician suggested they could create an invoice for Allstate for an amount well above my deductible. This made me extremely uncomfortable. I declined and requested a direct invoice for the actual work performed, as I was paying out of pocket.
They later sent me a bill for $953 with no itemization and even misspelled my name. The only service performed was water extraction. There was no mold and no structural damage. In fact, they suggested tearing out walls and flooring due to “mold,” yet an independent inspection in January confirmed there was no mold present.
Their equipment remained in my living room for three days. I repeatedly asked for it to be picked up and was told they had no one available. Despite this, they charged me for those extra days.
After multiple unsuccessful attempts to resolve the bill — including offering $550, which I felt was fair for one hour of extraction — I received notice they intended to file a lien on my property. I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. Shortly after, they sent a newly created, itemized invoice nearly two months after the incident. I disputed the charges again. Now I have received a formal Notice of Intent to Lien from Cook County.
This entire experience has been stressful and deeply disappointing. I strongly encourage anyone considering this company to proceed with extreme caution. -
Great experience, considering flooded basement. Joe and his team responded rapidly, making disastrous situation less stressful. They were very transparent, professional, friendly and supportive. They listened to my concerns and answered to all my questions with patience and understanding. They were very informative and provided me with the whole process step by step. His team members Eddie and Enrique were really fantastic, they did their part of the project in no time, however with an excellent result. Their positive attitude besides their professional performance was helpful, less stressful and highly appreciated. Thank you Eddie and Enrique.

Said work would be done by a certain time beginning of this year. As of right now work still isn't done. Work done is done very badly. With material not asked for. Owner is rude and inconsiderate.

I have been waiting for 4 weeks for AllPro to come repair some deck work they did! Don't give them the final check until they have completed their work or you'll never see them again!

Sonny miller is a liar and a thief before I signed the contract and gave him a $13000 yes thirteen thousand dollar check he assured me he had his own crew and a license in oak forest, liar and thief he got someone to get a permit under the company name of roy's roofing then had soto roofing do extremely sub standard work he keep pushing for the second $13000 check (it was a $39000 job) once he got the second check he sent 2 guys over each day who really pretended to work and refused to fix the problems with the work the contract had start and end dates. I had no choice but to tell them to fix the problems or not come back I got an inspection by a home inspector and I have $20000 to $40000 worth of damages he was supposed to install metal to prevent raccons from coming in but I've had racoons twice since then. To add insult to injury the piece of manure tried the extort the final $13000 out of me in court but after discovery from me he never provided his discovery or showed up for court (his lawyer blew court off two times also causing additional legal fees for me) for the countersuit. I was awarded a $50000 judgement against him which I am sure I'll never get out of him. My only hope he does this to the wrong person and gets what he has coming to him if you get involved with this scam artist good luck. My only hope is what goes around comes back to him ten fold

I dreamed of adding a sun-room onto the back of our house for years, and finally my dream came true! It''s everything I wanted, We spend more time in the sun-room than any other room in the house. This spot has also become the favorite place for family gathering.

If I could give less I would. Sorry for the long post. But I was really unhappy with spending as much I did for the crap a** job I ended up with. I read all the reviews and thought I would be pleased with the work, wrong! I asked them to come out and give me a quote on a fence job. No fence in place, start fresh. 165 feet of fence on a corner lot, wood fence to match my neighbor, wrong, fence looks nothing like my neighbor, Not that hard of a job. If I had the time I would have done it myself. It def would have looked a lot better. Sonny was a great guy to work with till it came down to the actuale job being done. Excuse after excuse ,yes it did rain during my project but it still took almost 2 months for the job to be done and I was not happy at collection. I originally asked for 2 4ft gates and changed my mind to 2 6ft gates. I was told 350 extra charge cus of hardwear. He didn't use the extra hardware and didn't charge me but the gates are now sagging 2 weeks after project is "done". Had 2 other 3 foot man gates put on and not one sagas and gets Hooked up on my side walk. I now have to go back and redo most of the work "his guys" did. There were more problems with this porject then ever. I really could say nothing good about this company, and really don't care if Sonny knows what I'm saying about his "family own" company. I'm family has owned a business in Brouadivew for over 60 years and has never treated a customer the way he did. If we were late on a dead line we would take caree of them, Say your sons first birthday party we would have made sure hell or high water it would have been done. But from the time of deposit I gave them a 2 month dead line and still wasn't done in time, For my sons 1st birthday party I had to deal with dirt all over my yard some post were up, half of which were leaning. They did have another crew come out a week later and "correct everything" mainly the post. Job was done 2 weeks late past dead line. I asked for comp money and money off for the work I had to redo. This guy goes cus I had to hire another crew to finish I'm going to Lose mine end. NOT MY problem. He gave me 100 off the price of the whole fence. Ended up costing me 10 times that to fix what they didn't do right and half of my lawn is completely distorted. Would not suggest them for any work if you want your house to look clean when the job is done, or the job to be done right or on time.
