We are redoing our kitchen and the lighting was very dim. Ziggy designed the lighting and installed all the lights. Ziggy and his crew knocked it out very quickly. From the day I called him to the installation was less than a week. Pricing was extremely reasonable and got a great price on the light fixtures.

We were new to the area and moved into a house that was still on fuses (not one, but two fuse boxes in two different locations of the house).

We needed the two boxes combined into one, the system upgraded to breakers instead of fuses, and the service upgraded from 100 to 200 amp service.

When we called to have Feniks come out to quote the job they came out same day to look at the job, and we had a quote back the next day. We received multiple quotes for the work but we chose to go with Feniks - we couldn't have been happier with our decision.

They were very flexible with scheduling and were very clear with communicating what they were going to need access to when performing the work. When they arrived at the house they were on-time, very clean when working and finishing the job, and respectful of the house and our space.

We couldn't have been happier with the final product and the piece-of-mind we now have being off of two fuse boxes from 1954 and 1967. With the work Feniks did, we also now have the ability to expand and add new circuits if we every add onto the house without having to re-do the breaker box again.

They stand by their work, and would 100% recommend this local electrician for your next job!

Called Feniks Electric, and Ziggy arrived in less than a half hour.  He was very professional and friendly and honest.  Explained  the problem.   Did a great job and gave us peace of mind.  Highly recommend this company.

Contacted Ziggy around 7 am for a smoking outlet. Said he would be here at 10am; called and asked to show up early! He arrived closer to 9am, wore a mask, got to work, replaced the outlet and made sure there were no hidden issues. We had a few other items for him to look at; he did so without hesitating. Nice work, good value and would definitely use them again and recommend them highly!!

Ziggy's help with a generator was outstanding. We needed help quickly, and Ziggy arranged some loaner equipment while working to install ours. He is very customer oriented and treats your issue as though it were his own. Very highly recommended.

I wish I could echo these great reviews, but we have had a terrible time. We have a large job on a rehab that my husband has been handling. A bunch of stuff was supposed to be completed initially. Less than half of those things were done. He was supposed to install temporary lights as part of the initial work, which also never happened. They were supposed to come back to finish once things were further along. Trying to get someone to come back has been extremely difficult and when they do, they do a few things and leave, despite promising that they will “be there all day.” We are literally waiting on them so other people can finish things for us to move in. They also damaged bricks in the front while installing an outlet and it seems like getting them to fix that is going to be another huge ordeal. In general, they are not responsive and definitely not reliable. I really wish we had used someone else as we’ve already paid a bunch of money to them for services we have not received. We are really upset. Today was another day they would “be there all day.” It’s 1pm and no one has been there, no one has called, and no will respond to my husband.

Our experience with Feniks Electric was fantastic. We called Ziggy for a consultation on a Friday evening, and he gave us an ETA of 1 hour and he showed up right on time. He provided a free consult, detailed exactly what the problem was, and answered all questions we had in a way that we were able to understand. Because of the problem at hand, our furnace and our sump pump were not working, and Ziggy ensured us that him and his team would try to get the job done ASAP even though their schedule for the following day was already pretty busy. Initially he gave us a timeline of the following Monday, which was sooner than we’d expected. He gave us a quote within a couple of hours, and notified us that he’d be able to come in the following morning. He understood the urgency and did all that he could to make sure that our needs were met! Him and his team were punctual, quick but efficient, and respectful of our space. We are so satisfied with the service, and will definitely be back for any other problems we run into!

These guys are the best, you won't regret doing business with them, Mr. Ziggy is extremely professional and focused on details, price is also very reasonable, i would say under market rate. We remodel our recently purchased home lightning and fixtures and what I liked the most is that Mr. Ziggy will personally asked you and confirm everything before proceeding even for the most minimal detail, just to make sure you are nothing but completely satisfied. Ziggy was awesome. I needed to replace my Nuheat thermostat for my floor tile heating in my home in Oak Lawn. Ziggy does good quality work, I like that he is local, he was easy to work with and his prices are fair. I will be using him again on any electrical work I need to have done

I called because I had an emergency electrical issue. Ziggy said he could be here at 3 (within 2 hours of when I called) and was here right on time. He did a great job and is just such a nice guy! He clearly cares a lot about making customers happy. He fixed my electrical issue at a very reasonable price. I’ll definitely call him again next time I need an electrician!

We needed to find a new electrician because our regular electrician retired. After doing some exhaustive research on electricians in the area, we came across Feniks Electric Co. Ziggy, who happens to be the owner of the company, was very pleasant to talk to over the phone. He came over the next day to examine the nature of the job, and then gave us a quote which was very fair! We're having a drain tile system and sump pump put in because of the recent heavy rains, which led to seepage on 3 occasions. The people that were installing the tile system along with the sump pump needed a separate line for the sump pump, which we did not have. So, we had him install that separate line 2 days later. He was punctual, easy to talk to, and did a very good job installing that separate line. They also cleaned up after the work was done, and he went over what they did. I would highly recommend Ziggy to anyone who needed electrical work of any sorts. We plan on using him as our regular electrician.

I would rate my experience with Feniks Electric a 10/10! The installation of a Ring doorbell to my older home was more complicated than just mounting it. Ziggy was so kind & professional. He showed up on time and went right to work. He worked diligently and quickly. He also answered all of my questions. Ziggy, was very professional, There was an issue with installing a new switch with all those other wires hiding behind the old switch. I reached out today and got same day service. came in and fixed it in no time.
