Wow! Excellent service and very professional team. Expected a half day work but they were in and out within few hours. My yard is now very neat. Would recommend them to anyone who need tree cutting or stumps removal.

Called Brookfield Tree after a storm put a tree on my roof. Peter answered and came out as promised that evening to give an estimate. His crew came out a day later and cut, trimmed, shredded and cleaned up. Couldn’t be happier. We highly recommend Brookfield Tree and will use them again.

Brookfield Tree Service did a fabulous job taking down a giant dead tree in my front yard. Extremely impressed with the cleanup from this team!! Fair price for tree removal and stump grinding.

Amazing job done! Called and next day had a quote and a few hours later 2 trees all cut down and old wood cutting removed without requesting! Professional and did the job at a reasonable cost. Highly recommend!

Peter and his crew were fantastic—professional, responsive, and a pleasure to work with from start to finish! I called about a tree in my backyard that needed pruning, and Peter came out the same day to assess it and provide a clear, fair estimate. Afew days later, he returned with his team, and they completed the job exactly as discussed: clean, precise cuts, no damage to the surrounding yard, and thorough cleanup afterward. The tree looks healthier and better-shaped than ever, and I’m very happy with the result. Can't really rate a company that DON'T SHOW UP !!!!

We used this service when Peter retired and was not the owner to remove a tree from our backyard. The new owner, Louis, told my husband since his team was behind, they would come back the next week to finish clearing out the roots from the tree. We had already paid in full and were fine with them coming back. Louis kept coming up with excuses as to why he couldn’t come. It’s been a YEAR since we had our tree removed and now, the new owner Louis, has not responded at all. This is incredibly unprofessional, especially since we have already paid in full for a full tree removal. I cannot believe Louis would let a highly rated company completely ghost a paying customer like this and be completely fine leaving a job unfinished. It is a shame he is disgracing the respected name of this company with his unprofessionalism. Due to this new ownership, I would HIGHLY suggest you use a different company.

If I could give Brookfield Tree Service negative stars I would. Brookfield Tree Service provided me a written estimate for $800 for trimming magnolia limbs from my roof, cleaning up limbs on 2 trees overhanging my property line, and dead branch removal of a tree in my front yard. I didn’t approve the work, just simply wanted an estimate as I was getting them from other vendors to compare.

Several weeks later Peter showed up at my home without an appointment asking if I wanted the work completed. I told him I was concerned about how aggressively he wanted to trim back our magnolia and I needed time to think about moving forward with the work.

One week later, without ever approving the work verbally or in writing, Peter’s crew showed up at my home and started the work of pruning the trees. Again, I never approved this work, nor was I home. I arrived home to a crew of 5-6 men using a wood chipper placing in branches from my trees. Peter was NOT present. He provided his crew with the wrong information. I had so many limbs removed from my backyard trees that now our patio shade is gone. Other limbs I wanted removed are still there. His crew completely destroyed our tree in our front yard. I wanted three dead branches cut out. His crew hacked the whole top and middle off the tree. The crew cut the honeysuckle down to the stump (see photo). It was a beautiful flowering tree and was 15’ tall and now is 3’ tall. I now have to have an arborist come to see if the tree can be salvaged.

Peter admitted to me he was in a rush, didn’t give the crew the right information, and made a big mistake. We will NOT be paying for any of the pruning.

The complete inattention and misdirection Peter provided has led to our trees being permanently changed, and has potentially damaged or killed one of our trees. I would NOT recommend Brookfield Tree Service. What kind of company just shows up and starts cutting trees without an agreement and some direction on what work needs to be done? Do not hire Brookfield Tree Service. I know Winkler and Davey are more expensive, but you get what you pay for.
