Dan has been incredibly helpful with a range of pesky electrical and other problems--a video doorbell, installing new lighting, new power for an electrical car, a leaky furnace in an amazingly inconvenient place. He's always pleasant, prompt and reasonably priced.

As an electrician Dan rewirred my kitchen, installed lighting, installed several outlets in other parts of the house, installed a new supply service outside and corrected some old wiring faults. Everything works well and the lighting is great!
As a general contractor he observed a structural fault I had missed and we ended up installing replacement support posts down the center of the building. The work was necessary and fantastically dirty, but was carried out on time and on budget.
Dan’s skill set and work ethic would make him a valuable member of a team doing a complex project. He does grumble a bit, but it’s worth it.

DSM Contractors installed a large-size electronic stair system to allow us access to our finished attic area. They also performed a conversion of two bedrooms into a single suite-style bedroom. And they installed for us a new kitchen sink. All work was performed at a high level of quality. They explained the progress throughout the build process and brought a pleasant demeanor to the work site. I would recommend DSM Contractors and will request their services for a next home project.

Andres, Jose, and his team did an incredible job in some renovations I needed throughout my 3-flat home. We did a 203K loan which made the process a bit more complicated than a standard renovation but they were knowledgeable about the process and had no hesitation working with the loan. Not many contractors are willing to! Everything turned out great and as expected. The project took longer than expected to complete but that’s expected with any construction projects. I would recommend using them in the future

I had a great experience with this general contractor. They were professional, punctual, and very detail-oriented. The project was completed on time, and the quality of work was outstanding. Communication was smooth, and they kept the worksite clean and organized throughout. I would definitely recommend this contractor to anyone looking for reliable and skilled renovation services. 🏠

I’m bummed to leave these guys a bad review. But they were corresponding with me to set up a call or estimate and when I confirmed a day and time, I didn’t hear back from them. Then when I contacted them on the date I had agreed to, the guy hung up in my face. Very unprofessional. And unreliable.

Jose helped me with one of my locations in Chicago. He has always been extremely responsive and professional for that reason he has been my goto person in this area. He has always been very helpful as well when recommending how to move forward with the jobs.

My wife and I hired JC General Construction for a small kitchen remodel shortly after purchasing our home. Positive experience all the way around. Showed up on time everyday and actually finished the job 4 days ahead of schedule. We will be using them again for additional work.

A few years ago, a leak began in my living room. I called a contractor, and he caulked around my windows, under our door, outlets and light fixtures. A month later, the leak began again. I probably hired about 6 contractors to help us with this leak with no resolve. I finally gave JC General Construction a call. They came right out and spent about an hour to inspect the leak. They were able to find the source of the problem. It ended up being that the contractors who built our home did not waterproof under our siding well, which caused the leak. We hired JC General Construction for this project, and the process was quick and easy. They were so confident that they can do the work, and assured me that once it was fixed that I wouldn’t see a leak ever again! I even asked if they can fix a different part of my house which had a few pieces of siding loose, and they fixed that as well. I definitely recommend them!
