Might be the most cocky and arrogant person I have ever spoken to. I am shocked that this person is their customer service person. I called to get information and he was a complete jerk to me, started telling me I was a "tire kicker" and he was giving me "free information" that I should be grateful for. Would never recommend this company. What a horrible way to do business.

I recommend using Chicago Tank Removal if you want to work with people who you can trust. They are experts and meticulous about getting the job done correctly and on time. They are true professionals and I cannot recommend them enough.

I contacted David Streich to remove an oil tank I found in my crawl space. After I did further research on CTR, I am relieved that I did not hire the company to remove the tank.

First off, after researching other tank removal companies, I noticed David Streich posted a negative review about a competitor on google reviews. I am not sure how he got away with doing this as there are laws regarding this behavior. After I emailed David saying this is the reason why I will not be hiring him to remove the tank, he removed his review from his personal gmail account.

If the above paragraph isn't sheisty enough, after reading CTR's contract, a line states that if a client has an unpleasant experience with CTR they may not voice their opinion on any media outlet. In my opinion, all the positive ratings regarding CTR are invalid.

Please look at other companies to remove your oil tanks and READ ALL CONTRACTS. I think you will find more ethical companies in the Chicagoland area.

We had a commercial UST that needed to be removed. We obtained prices from several companies, we chose Chicago Tank Removal. They were by far the least expensive, easiest to understand and the quickest to get the job done and obtain an NFR letter. Everything went smoothly and David and his team did a great job!

Highly recommend Chicago Tank Removal. I spoke with 3 tank companies regarding my UST removal, got 2 quotes, and hired Chicago Tank Removal. Of the 3 companies, their pricing was the fairest, and David was by far the most knowledgable and responsive. My tank was a vaulted 2000 gallon tank in a basement so this was a significant job. They did the job in a very short time to work with my timeline, they were responsive to answer all questions I had throughout the entire process, and they provided the UST closure report as promised.

We were very pleased. Their service was great. We live in South Bend IN. and thought that might be a problem being so far away etc.. But it was no problem. They arrived, did exactly what they said they would do. You could tell they knew what they were doing. Good price. knowledgeable. and neat!

Courteous and professional, I highly recommend Chicago Tank Removal. The team arrived on time and got right to work removing my 360 gallon oil tank from my crawlspace. They were able to drain about 300 gallons of oil, cut the tank into sections, clean up and complete the job within 1:45 mins.. Very impressive!!

I spoke with multiple guys at Chicago tank removal and each interaction was extremely personable. The removal process was great. They cleaned and removed my two tanks and removed the connectors. Though I hope not to have another tank removal in my future, I would use these guys again.

They came in promptly as scheduled and immediately got situated, informed me of their plans, and proceeded with said plans. They were able to not only get the job done quickly, but also told me what to expect with how to deal with certain problems, such as odors from the old tank. CTR removed a heating oil tank. What a hassle but David work through all the issues. Communicated continually, always return calls/e-mails. Site was cleaner when he left than before they started.
