Erik from Granite Heroes was an absolute magician! I had used a very strong grout cleaner that left what seemed like impossible etching on every seam between our marble tiles in our bathroom. He is super friendly and responsive. Came on time, explained honestly what can and can't be done. He finished the work exactly as he predicted by 4PM, left the kitchen spotless and the floor sparkling. He also did all the floors under the applicances, and made sure to send me photos to prove it! I would highly recommend him.

My floors look amazing. I called Johan last week and he was at my condo within 30 minutes to take measurements; quoted me a number on the spot that we agreed to. His crew of 2 came the following week (promptly at 8am) and they finished the refinishing/repair in ONE DAY. I'm really blown away by the results. Pretty sure no one has conditioned these floors since original construction 17 years ago. There were areas where the varnish was completely worn off; one rotted gnarly blackened area that has irked me since I moved in 5 years ago. It's all perfect now. We had one mishap where my oven drawer got scratched, but we settled that up equitably and Johan even offered to find the replacement part for me. He has been extremely responsive throughout. I'm very happy with the quality of the work, the cost, and the turnaround time.

I am very pleased with the service provided by this team. They completed three small projects for us and were incredibly accommodating with our schedule. The match and patch job around the fireplace was particularly impressive, as they seamlessly matched the new flooring to the existing floor after the fireplace rebuild.

We came across Johan’s business and his 5 star google reviews when our search through the National Certified Hardwood Floor Association came up empty. Several contractors refused to do estimates, while others insisted the entire condo would have to be refinished when only one room was scratched. Johan agreed to come by for an estimate, and also promised he could perfectly match the refinished room to the hallways and remaining condo. From the very beginning, Johan was very professional and responsive. He was able to expedite getting us in, and even did so on a Sunday so it wouldn’t interfere with my work schedule. He also immediately provided a COI upon request and initiated sending directly to our management company. The day of the job, he arrived exactly at 8:30am, began setup, then reviewed oil vs water based and why he was sure it was oil based. By noon, the room was sanded and the first coat of varnish on. He gave me plenty of time to leave the condo to allow for ventilation, and clearly explained 30 min drying, buffing then one final coat of varnish. He finished the entire project by 1pm and it was seamless. The color match is perfect. If you’ve ever had hardwood floor that you care for, you know how important it is to keep them looking great. Not sure if the scratch is visible in the picture, but will include before and after photos. I am confident in Johan’s expertise, and highly recommend him for any hardwood floor project!
