MyClean really came through when no other company would. I moved into a new place on August 1st and I went with a different company and they cancelled last minute. I called MyClean and they were able to send 2 great cleaners. They did such a good job I will most likely use them on a regular basis. Thanks MyClean!

MyClean was referred to me by a friend, and I was absolutely impressed with the service! The scheduling process was efficient and easy, and my apartment has never been cleaner. They definitely paid attention to the details and exceeded my expectations.

I've been working with MyClean for almost five years while I've lived in Chicago, and they are the best! Easy to schedule cleanings, all of the cleaners are super professional and do a great job. I'd highly recommend MyClean to anyone who is looking to have a quality regular cleaning service.

I'm so happy that this Chicago-based company came to NYC! MyClean did an excellent job getting my apartment ready for a new tenant. I lived in my apartment for 7 years before renting it out to a tenant. I kept the place in good condition, but it was time to do a thorough clean once I moved out. The MyClean professional made the bathroom and kitchen look brand new. She vacuumed and swept up cardboard and other particles left behind from the move. I was very pleased with the results and am eagerly waiting for them to move onto other cities so I can use them in South Florida!

I've never written a review on Yelp in my life, but I feel compelled to write about MyClean. MyClean is, BY FAR, the best cleaning service I've had in Chicago and lifted a huge burden off my shoulders:

1.) The quality of cleaning is of a truly high professional standard. I've had two preferred cleaners in the recent past: Lisa and Shantel. Both of them clean with a lot of care an love. They'll go above and beyond what you explicitly ask them to do (Lisa, for example, once unfurled a massive new carpet in my living room without me asking her to do it--moving a very large couch and coffee table by herself). On the occasions that I've had back-up cleaners, they have been very consistent as well.

2.) Exceptional customer service. If your cleaner is late or can't make it, someone from MyClean will email you (yes a human being, not an automated message) to inform you and automatically find a replacement (who is usually also quite good) unless you want to reschedule with your preferred cleaner. They'll also respond with a great deal of understanding when something doesn't go right. There were only two situations with me. First, early in my relationship with MyClean two years ago, I arrived and just didn't feel the cleaner did a good job--they sent me another one the next day (ended up being my preferred cleaner Lisa) for free. Second, a back-up cleaner once forgot to lock my door when she left...I complained about it and they immediately addressed the concern, dealt with it and refunded me. You know good customer service when you see how they respond to things that go wrong.

3.) You can pay online/with a credit card. This might seem silly, but if you're super forgetful like I am, you'll have to scramble out in the freezing cold to find an ATM to pay an independent cleaner. MyClean handles that with a subscription, so you don't have to think about it.

If you're looking for a high quality, professional cleaning service, I really recommend MyClean.

My GF and I are both very organized people. We like our home to be neat and tidy, but we both work very busy schedules (we are both doctors) and so we often do not have the time to pay attention to the level of detail we like. MyClean has been our service provider for two years, and we are very happy with them. Its services are always prompt and professional, and our apartment looks and feels fresh after every clean. We’ve used the same cleaner from the start and are grateful for her help.

MyClean offers a tremendous service at a really great price. I usually clean my own place, but I’ve lived in it for years now, and some areas and things just fall by the wayside. The MyClean cleaner made my bathroom look like it had never been used. After she finished her cleaning, I also noticed that the lower part of my kitchen walls looked brighter. They never looked gunky so I didn’t pay too much attention, but the cleaner saw something I didn’t.

Shardaja Stokes did an amazing job cleaning my place. It was spotless when we got home!

Today, June 26, two ladies came to clean a unit, at the time they were ready to leave, they came down to throw 2 boxes and asked me where the recycle dumpsters were. I explained, open the door for them and asked them to FLATTEN the two boxes, because that is a rule in the building. They came to front door in seconds and asked them if they destroyed the boxes. Their answer was YES, but they did not. They could ask me to do it for them, but instead they did lie.

Service was fine. But, the cleaning lady broke our vacuum cleaner and when reached to company they responded saying it because of wear and tear sorry! Not a pleasant experience.

First time, showed up incredibly late, cleaner asked to use my cell phone. Did a horrible job except in the fridge. I expressed dissatisfaction, they send another cleaner back, she did a great job.

I decide to use them again, but this time I request for the second cleaner. They agreed and assured me this was possible. They then switched her out without telling me, and the new cleaner is 2 hours late (they called and said she'd be ten minutes late). She unplugged my fridge / freezer and did not plug it back in, so $100+ dollars worth of food spoiled. I expressed this concern to the company, no response.

EDIT:

The company reached out and offered to compensate me for the food. It seems like the customer service is good when things "go wrong," they just go wrong seemingly often. If I was to use this service again I would strongly ask for a cleaner who would show up on time and who highly rated.

As far as the below response, it seems to insinuate I am not an actual customer, an attempt to throw shade at the legitimacy of this review. I have spoken with the head of operations and customer service, Ross, personally. Users, choose who you want to believe.. It seems this is their standard response for the negative reviews below.

The bathrooms weren't touched, none of the bedrooms were vacuumed, I'm very disappointed with this service. I spent $150 to have to clean my house myself!

They should evaluate how to go about deciding which employees does what. Instead of going out on a whim. Anyhow, I will not do business with them and no equal opportunity.

They don't pay their workers enough, they make them buy their own cleaning supplies, and they make them pay for their own transportation.. also a lot of racial profiling..

My clean hires felons who've actually shot and robbed people not exactly sure these are the kinds of people you want in your home possibly when your not there. Yes ex cons!

Canceled on me twice day of. The cleaner that came was unexperienced and did not clean one bedroom & one bathroom.

DO NOT USE! They Canceled on me day of and offered no help it getting some one on site. I had family arriving the next day and they would offer zero support or even try to remedy the issue.

Terrible. $100+ dollars for my cleaner to not scrub down the bathroom, clean the bedroom, or dust the apartment with guests visiting the next day. Better yet, I was given the run around when asking for a refund and had to waste even more of my time convincing them that I wasn't going to pay for services not provided - even after all that I was only given a partial refund. I'll find someone else next time!

Unprofessional and horrible in doing their job. After Covid they don’t have many cleaners now. Very careless and bad attitude they broke my coffee maker by dropping it on the floor. Myclean even decline to address it and refund it.
They will not even do the cleaning that mentioned in the basic checklist. Before Covid they were still fine.

Scheduled a cleaning over a week ago. Purchased a vacuum to ensure I received a good cleaning because their confirmation e-mail says they do not bring vacuums. My cleaning was scheduled to happen any time between 9am and 4pm. Received a confirmation e-mail the day before to then get a call at 11am that they were not coming. Wasted my time and was unable to get the service I planned for and needed. Highly unprofessional and disappointing.

Terrible experience. I expected much more from $220/5hr deep clean of an empty 1bd condo. The windows were streaky, floor was sticky, bathroom still had hair on the floor, very poor attempt to clean the tub/toilet and even worse attempt at the stove, granite counter was greasy, vents were not even touched. The only thing done right was the floorboards, window sills and cabinets were wiped down. The refrigerator was ok.

Multiple potential renters viewed the unit after the cleaning from myClean and asked if we were going to clean the unit! We told them MyClean Chicago already did and they were disappointed. I didn’t even bother to ask for any money back or another cleaning as I had to use my time and resources to give the place a real cleaning.

Never again. Over priced for the end result. Don’t waste your money.
