I am extremely thrilled with the way that my lawn has responded to your care, it is greener than it has ever been and 99% weed free.

The only complaint I have is that last fall I called and asked that I be notified before each service day, as I had to send away the serviceman twice because my lawn was covered with leaves and I was preparing to mow/mulch them and I did not want to disturb the product and have to breathe it in. I was told that I would indeed be notified before each service day, but I have had two applications since then this spring, and no call. Luckily I was not getting ready to mow at those times. If not for this omission, I would have given your company the full five stars.

This is our 2nd season with Greener Living and we are very pleased. Every time I call or talk with someone they are professional, knowledgeable and friendly. Our lawn has never looked better, and mosquitos have been at a minimum. I would definitely recommend Greener Living!

We are delighted with the results of the slit seeding process. My grass is coming in fuller and healthier than I have EVER had. ( I have lived here over 40 years!) I did opt for the additional fertilizer at time of slitting. Brian paid attention to the areas that needed special attention and gave good follow up instructions. Of course, we also have had fantastic spring grass growing weather. So that undoubtedly helped a bit : )

I tried a few others for my lawn care finally went with Greener Living two years ago. Greener Living convinced me with their quality service and honesty, they are responsive and provide detail explanations rather than sales pitching.

Have used multiple lawn care services before, results have been much better. The technicians are always very friendly and when I call in for help the person who answers is always very nice. Go greener living!

The Greener Living Techs are super nice and take the time to talk to you about their lawn care process, what is needed for your yard, how it works and why. I have been using them for almost 3 years and my lawn is the best looking on the block! Thanks Cayman and crew!!

I hired them on a one time aeration in fall of 2021. Never solicited for their business after that. Customer rep calls saying I owe them money for an aeration done on 11/29/2022…. I hired a different landscaping company to complete a fall clean up and aeration on 11/11/2022 so this service was never solicited and definitely not needed. I was told that if you ever hire them for a ONE time service they automatically preform that service every year whether solicited or not! What a scam, considering the rep stated they aerated my entire lawn when the company that I hired only aerated my front and side yard due to my dogs, shows that their rep saw my lawn already had the plugs still showing from the service I actually hired on 11/11 and just stuck his little flag in my yard and charged me for this service.

After seeing our neighbors yard improvement we decided to give Greener Living a try and we are very happy we did! The lawn has never been greener and healthy. All weeds except the creeping Charlie are gone! We hope by this time next year even the creeping Charlie will be history! Thanks for the personal attention and quick responses to our questions and e mails! We will and have already told friends and family about your services!

I have been very pleased with Greener Living. If I notice weeds or another problem they respond quickly to resolve the problem. The techs are friendly and ask if there is anything else I needed them to check out. Thank you for your service in making my lawn better.

I use them for two of my trees for blight. The old service I use to use was better. My tree looks terrible. A representative from Greener Living inspected the tree and agreed how it looked and the shape it was in and agreed it didn't look very good. but he said it was because of the unusual heat and weather we were having. I asked isn't that why we paid you to inject a protective injection into it. My old service used three spraying s not injections into the ground. Greener Living used one injection. Not good. We prepaid the service for these injection. I'm sorry I did that because they do not intend to reimburse us.

This companies been fantastic. We moved to Evanston two years ago and ever since greener living has taken care of everything. Our yard was in bad shape when we bought this house. They’ve done Grub/mosquito control, slit seeding, core aeration and overseeding.

I don’t like the idea of using much fertilizer or herbicides and while it’s probably taking a little longer to see lawn improvement I’m really happy with the results.

They identified a fungus on our crabapple and did root injections. On several occasions I’ve called competitors to validate the things they’ve sold us and pricing because new homeowner - I don’t know nothing. They’ve got super fair pricing and are always on time and professionals.

This business in unreliable and untrustworthy. They fertilized our neighbor’s lawn instead of ours, not once, not twice but three times. Each instance my neighbor called and complained to them but they did not remedy the situation. 2nd time she told me and I called and complained but they again fertilized my neighbor’s lawn a third time. When I called again they tried blaming google map for taking them to wrong location but our homes are clearly marked with our addresses. That’s not an excuse for their incompetence. They refused to give me credit as I purchased the full years plan instead they offered me credit on future service but there is no way I can stay with them. Buyer be aware!

This is my second year using Greener Living. I was so happy with their service last year that I have expanded my services to include mosquito treatment and other lawn care, including the basic treatments. They are always very responsive by email and phone, and fairly priced. I would highly recommend them!

We are newer to Greener Living, but VERY impressed so far. We had slit-seeding done, and unlike countless other seeding efforts with multiple companies, we actually have significant new grass in the bare areas.

We have received personal recommendations and care, rather than the "spray and run" cookie-cutter techniques of pretty much everyone we have used in the past. We have a lot of shade and pine needles which can be difficult to work with, but they seem to have come up with a plan for success.

It's nice to have one of the prettiest lawns in the neighborhood!

Greener Living service techs are very polite, professional, and show up and do as they say. However, the guy in the billing department is very rude and far from professional. After a couple months of service I noticed I was being charged more for each service than I was being told. They offer a discount if you prepay for treatment but then charge you a different amount when they come out. I mentioned all the over charges to the billing department and they refunded me the difference and apologized for the mistake, I understand mistakes happen so I didn’t think much about it. Looking over my account online one day, I noticed they again over charged me. So, I called again and the same guy apologized and this time he credited my online account instead of refunding my credit card “since the amount wasn’t a lot” When I was due for my next prepaid treatment, it happened to be the same tech that sold me the prepay package prior. I confirmed with him that this treatment was prepaid for and he said no there will be a charge, but didn’t understand why. He remembered me and taking payment for it. He apologized for not knowing why I was being charged again and told me to call billing department before he started. So I called and I asked why I kept getting charged more than I am being told by the tech for treatments? The guy said “the techs don’t do the billing so he doesn’t know”. Well then, why are they telling me the prices, giving discounts, and collecting pre payment?!? I decided to stop service due to the fact I felt greener livings billing department was a mess and didn’t feel like having to call in every time they charged my credit card wrong, which is a shame because my lawn was starting to look better. I asked to cancel service and am told “I don’t see what is the problem we credited you already the over payment”. I informed him I felt the billing was a mess and that I was only charged correctly two times, and since the techs that give the pricing doesn’t know the correct prices I no longer wanted their services and would like the credit for over payment on my account refunded to my credit card. I was then told “ok” and then he hung up on me. Since then they deleted my online account and never refunded my credit card. If you do go with this company just make sure you don’t put a credit card for autopay and you keep an eye on what they tell you and what they charge you, also try to avoid calling billing department at all cost because the guy there is far from professional and very rude.

Greener Living Lawn, Tree and Pest is the best balance of using nature to keep your lawn and trees healthy, yet they know when a non-organic material is necessary to combat unwanted things in your lawn and trees. Their price is fair for what you receive. They are not cheap like the national companies, but what you receive in product and results justifies the price. I have tried everyone from the national companies, to the fully organic companies. Greener Living is the perfect balance between the two ends. Additionally, the service techs are personable and responsive. They call me before they come out and address any concerns we may have. Five starts has been earned.

This will be our 3rd season using Greener Living and we could not be happier! Our lawn has never looked this good in the last 20 years we have been in Des Plaines. The plushness and quality of the grass is incredible! No other service has gotten these results and we have used several of them. But the best part is the communication and quality of the people at Greener Living! So Very Happy with these guys and this company!

When I called Greener Living Lawn Care, I was connected to their Customer Service Department. Their service agent, Camen answered the phone and was very professional, knowledgeable and patient with me when answering all of my questions and concerns. Camen goes above and beyond with his customer service by calling me the day before to let me know that their fertilizer crew will be coming out to provide the next treatment and then follows up to make sure that I am happy with the treatment that was provided. I had a lot of dandelions and creepy charlie, but just after the first treatment, I can already see a HUGE difference in my lawn. I also purchased their mosquito treatment program and happy to report that I have been sitting outside enjoying my deck, bite free! Thank you Greener Living! I can't wait to see how great my lawn is going to look after all the service treatments are provided.

Having moved often, Ive used any number of lawn service companies. This is my second year with Greener Living and my lawn has never looked better. They are indeed easy to work with. Service was so good in fact that I added regular aeration service, and since that went so well, I asked them to help service/maintain one of our trees needing special attention. Can recommend GL without hesitation.
