I have used Greenwise for the past three years. Their service is excellent and the communication far superior to other services I have used. I was very concerned about chemicals used and human and pet safety and Greenwise only uses those products that are not harmful to both humans and our furry friends. I highly recommend them

We hired Greenwise to help us with a landscape design for our yard. Chris Odenthal, the landscape designer, was very knowledgeable about plants, made great suggestions for native plants, and came up with a beautiful design for our yard. He also went out of his way to meet us at a distant tree nursery to help us pick a tree. The landscape work was well done. The plants were well-placed and watered, and the yard was cleaned up before the crew left.

We have used Greenwise for mosquito control for multiple years and are thrilled with the service and results. We have a large city backyard with multiple mosquito havens and yet we barely see them. The cedar oil is safe for our organic vegetable gardens, kids, and pets. We have no complaints!

we've recently had some old shrubs replaced with new one and it turned out to be a really tough job due the the rocks in the soil beneath the old shrubs. the crew...Tito, Erasto, Celestino and Jose worked their tails off! we are very pleased with the results and would recommend greenwise to anyone looking for superb gardening needs!

I contacted Greenwise for a spring clean up and mulch work. After having someone out to view my property in early March I was told the scheduler would reach out to schedule my services for end of March, early April. No one emailed or called me, I then had to repeatedly contact them via email and voicemails until someone finally called me back. I was promised someone would come do all of my work the following Thursday. No one showed up nor called (wasn’t a weather issue as it was 8 days of sunshine and 70’s). I called Thursday evening to ask what happened… they promised my work would be done Friday morning. No one showed up or called. I called the office late afternoon on that Friday and they promised me someone would come out the following week… after explaining the situation of their team promising and not following through they miraculously found a team to “start” my work that afternoon. A team showed up and spent about 45 minutes working on my yard and an equal time smoking cigarettes next to their truck. I was then told they would be back the following Monday to finish my work. It has been three weeks since that Friday afternoon and not a single person has reached out or responded to my calls or emails… but had the capacity to bill me for a full spring clean up without doing any of the work. I would not recommend them to anyone looking to have any service done. Horrible communicators, horrible work, horrible experience.

Greenwise re-landscaped our front lawn two years ago and have continued with the annual maintenance. They always do a great job, and our client relationship manager Brian Baillie makes sure that everything is going well and that we have what we need to keep the lawn looking good.

This is the first time I’ve ever used a landscaping service, due to mobility issues this year. I couldn’t bring myself to go with the usual ear-splitting, gas-guzzling equipment and was lucky enough to catch sight of a Greenwise truck by chance in the street. Not the cheapest service, and slower perhaps, but quiet, efficient and much gentler on the environment (all products are organic) and the eardrums. Even the leafblowers are barely audible. Marcos knows his plants and is obviously training his men well. So far I’m very pleased with Greenwise’s work.

We learned of Chris Odenthal and Greenwise through a neighbor who was pleased with the work they did in his backyard. We needed a bluestone patio created to integrate with a previously installed patio in our back and side yard. From the start, Chris impressed us with his responsiveness, creativity, and talent. His solution to our design brief was elegant and natural. We couldn’t be happier with the result. Based on our experience, we’ve decided to undertake the Greenwise organic lawn care plan to get the rest of our yard looking as good as our new patio!

Greenwise Organic Lawn Care and Landscaping design installed a beautiful Bluestone patio and landscaping for the side yard of our Logan Square home. We were referred originally to Marc, who did such a wonderful creative design to begin the project. Chris integrated into the project midstream, as well, and the project was successful completed on time and with great care. Chris' attention to detail was excellent. The installation went well, any concerns or questions were addressed, and we were very happy with their work. I can't wait to see it flourish over then next several years as it matures in the cozy space. The Bluestone is gorgeous! Thank you, Greenwise, especially Marc and Chris for your excellent service.

My lawn is now green, thick and very healthy ever since Greenwise took over its care & feeding! I couldn’t be more pleased/and it’s all organic ! Brian Baillie took charge of the new work and now everything looks trim and wonderful. The crew is very professional.

Greenwise took an okay-looking yard and made it a great-looking yard. The crew worked on all of our flower beds and installed decorative pebbles in our patio area - our yards look detailed and snazzy. When the crew accidentally cut our invisible dog fence wire, the supervisor came back the next day and worked in the pouring rain until he found the cut spot to repair...such great service. I worked closely with Chris Odenthal on the install and design. I also ordered new sod which I was very pleased with as well. We've used Greenwise Organic Lawn Care for two years and everything is greener. Creeping Charlies is completely gone! It was very important for our yard to be pesticide free to support our organic garden. Great customer service communication and easy billing.

We have been using Greenwise going on 4 years and they never disappoint. Greenwise was communicative and informative in the process leading up to our hardscape and landscape work. They were on time, courteous, and provided quality in terms of the work and the materials/plants. As someone who is a lawncare novice, Greenwise made me feel comfortable and confident that the selections we made would not only look great but also survive our environments with as low maintenance as possible. They specifically exceeded our expectations on our hardscape. Our back patio got a tremendous facelift in a matter of hours. Would certainly recommend!

The greatest gift of this past winter season was Greenwise Organic Lawn Care and Landscaping. We hired them to do snow removal as we were not sure we would be able to manage it ourselves. Greenwise services were worth every penny. They consistently kept in touch about pending weather, plans for clearing snow and ice and timelines that were on point. It wasn't inexpensive, but the value for the cost was excellent. We will be hiring Greenwise again next year!

I’ve had lawn services for about 12+ years. Their “expertise” was mowing. Poor communications. Never could rely on them coming at a regular time. Knew very little beyond how to start a lawnmower and push it around the lawn. Greenwise is the ultimate. They not only take care of regular maintenance, but all horticultural needs organically. And they know what they’re doing. They might more expensive, but worth it to get the lawn I’ve always wanted. Totally!
