Plumbing Department has handled a half dozen different jobs at my vintage condo building. They've never been stumped or at loss. From the scheduling people to the plumbers themselves, everyone is uniformly courteous and straightforward.
Plumbing Dept. is a union company, meaning you always get two technicians, a master and a journeyman. That also means their rates are a bit higher than average. I justify that several ways. Here's one: They have found and fixed ridiculous code violations in my building in the work of cheaper non-union plumbers. You get what you pay for.

Great experience working with Jeff to add a utility sink in my basement. He was knowledgeable, honest, and focused on the right solution without upselling. The installation was clean, professional, and exactly what I was hoping for.
