Their technicians are clearly experts who know exactly what they’re doing, which gave us total peace of mind throughout the process. The quality of the work is outstanding, and the results were well worth the investment. We’re thrilled to be ready to enjoy what feels like a brand new deck!

Deck Tech has always been reliable and meticulous in their work over the years. They go to great lengths to ensure a great finished product, working with mother nature and protecting the home and landscaping through the process, it's clear they prioritize doing things right. Second time I've used them on this deck and they did another fantastic job. Crew worked hard to make sure bushes and underneath concrete pylons were tarped off properly. They were courteous and did an excellent job cleaning up afterward, like they were never there. And I believe that their stain is far superior to anything you can get in the big box stores. I didn't have any boards that needed to be replaced since the first time they did it. And the color is awesome. Thrilled with the outcome.

Looking to have our deck redone. We had deck tech a few years ago and I have to say the stain didn't last that long and now we have boards to replace. After reading the reviews I think I need to look elsewhere.

They were very prompt at first, came out right away. After initial visit I was told a carpenter would contact me, never did. I then texted the guy that came out and never heard back with a price or anything.

Decktech came out yesterday and stained my deck, it turned out beautiful! Very professional and very clean. Covered all bushes and cleaned up everything. Will definitely use again !

took us weeks to get a quote and the quote was wrong in many places. they wanted double the price of other contractors. literally they wanted a single story deck priced the same as a new 2 car garage. HAHAHAHAHAHA JOKES.

I filled out an online form enquiring about pricing. Days later, I was sitting in my yard when someone rang the doorbell. I wasn't expecting anyone, so I didn't answer. A few minutes later, a random large man opens the gate and enters my yard. He was from Deck Techs and even though we had no appointment or even an email that he was arriving, he let himself into my back yard. Additionally, he was not wearing a mask and came right up close to me to "discuss." The whole experience was completely unprofessional and I will definitely NOT be hiring this company to do any work for my family.

What an absolute waste of time. They refused to modify my quote with one single line item. They said it was no problem and I was told tomorrow, next monday, a few minutes. They totally ghosted me after sending a tech to quote service. Brittany never returned my calls and didn't reply to email. Crystal said she'd make sure Brittany would get a hold of me. Monica said it was no problem to modify the quote, and after calling her back she landed it back on Brittany who simply doesn't do her job. I guess they don't want any business. I wasted over 3 weeks with them when I could have gone with someone else, now part of my summer is wasted without a deck. Thanks for NOTHING.

Unfortunately I have to give this company a bad review they have horrible customer service and sloppy work. The sales rep never returned a single message to add replacement boards to my order. Then one day a guy shows up to start the work. I had to call his boss to finally get my order correct. Then the boards replacement was not done well another delay to get them correct. Then I waited and waited for staining. Several calls and emails no response from deck tech… then on Monday at 5pm someone just shows up. Luckily I was working from home that day. Ultimately there are flaws and I have asked for them to be fixed … now waiting again! So this job still not complete. What should have taken 3 days had taken 30 with no good outcome. Do not hire this company.

Don’t waste your time with Deck Tech. I had them do work on my two decks back in 2013. The work was done well, and I had no complaints.

However, This time around I first dealt with a Mr. Johnson. We basically played phone tag, and then I was just ignored. I called the company and dealt with a representative named Crystal. At first, she was helpful, however, I questioned the estimate since the overall increase in price was quite dramatic.

I sent multiple emails to see if I could have the estimates split up, but never got a reply.

Deck Tech does not care about customer service anymore, and they are way overpriced. I highly suggest getting an estimate elsewhere.
