Kelly Manring started work on our septic tank replacement on aug 27, 2018. And since then I Never knew when he was coming or going. There was no communication. He Worked 35 hours in 3 weeks. Would not return my messages asking when he was returning. Let sewage run above ground in trench for 2 days. Put septic in ground too high so had to drill a lower inlet hole to match up with pipes from house so now it sits very high above ground. His reply to my concern about this was , don't worry- I will grade your whole yard to make it look good if I have to. We had someone come to our house and they called from the driveway to make sure they were at the correct location because he said he thought it was a vacant house from all the mess. Kelly left large piles of dirt on ground not dug on. Left pile of rock covering half of driveway so had to drive on grass to go up it. He would not give us any return dates info. We Didn't know if he was even coming back. He did business under Circle Sewer but would only accept down pay and final pay in his personal name, Kelly Manning. Sept 7th he requested final pay. I questioned his work and asked if govt inspection passed. He said yes, all done and good. I was stupid and paid him even tho I was not satisfied with his work, ethics, or communication. I called Madison county planning and development on sept 10th and was told the inspection was not completed yet. It has been a big mess and concern since day one. It is sept 20th and I am still in same situation. As if that wasn’t enough, we found there are issues with the waste water holding in the inlet and outlet pipes. The septic tank manufacturer and several septic installers advised this could cause future backup into our house. Kelly refuses to address this issue and we now have to pay another contractor to fix his mistakes, costing us of thousands of dollars more.
