The team at the Woods Basement were fantastic. The staff was professional and the installers, Alex, Bryce and Mason arrived on time, were courteous and explained the process start to finish.

If I could give negative stars I would. I’m generally not a person to complain or post bad reviews but today was the final straw for me with this company. Been working with them for the last roughly 10 months to get a job I payed a lot of money for completed properly. It’s been a nightmare! Original project was started back in fall of 2024. It is now the last day of June 2025 and nothing is right yet. Original project left damages to my AC unit, ruts in my yard, and big rocks they never cleaned up. They also bent my gate up because they showed up 15 minutes early and rather than wait for me or call me they took it upon themselves to automatically hop out and start disassembling my gates so they could pull up the driveway farther. Window wells were supposed to be installed along with a dual sump pump with battery back up, and walls were supposed to be sealed and drainage systems outside and inside installed. When they left all we had was a sump pump with battery back up, inside drainage systems, and part of some of the window wells. That was it. They did seal one small section of the wall but not behind the electrical box where it’s leaking like a water fall. They requested I pay more to seal it, but insisted that it wouldn’t matter because no water would get in behind the electrical box anyways once they’d completed their job. They also said no drainage systems outside past a certain line were ordered so that would be an additional almost $6,000 or more! Then they said they forgot to order one window well so we waited several months for them to come back out with that well and cover it. They showed up in the snow one night after 7pm and sent me pictures through a text of a job in almost complete darkness that we could barely make out. The next morning in the sun light we were able to see the window well was not properly fit and the cover was falling off. It still hasn’t been fixed. There’s still water pouring in behind my electrical box whenever it rains heavily. Most of the multiple window wells they dug have covers that dont actually fit properly and several of the wells are pulling away from the house and leaving gaps around the foundation of my house which has been the case ever since less than 2 months after installation. Been trying for months now to get them to come back out and they either ignore my messages, leave texts unanswered, or get us on the schedule then cancel last minute for some reason or another. Finally thought I had a set schedule for them to come out this month but unfortunately I had an emergency surgery in the family and had to reschedule. They couldn’t get me back on the schedule until September now. That’s another 4 months they’re pushing me off. Today the sump pump they installed apparently couldn’t handle the amount of water pooling in to my basement and left me with about 5 inches of standing water in the basement. Literally pretty much everything is ruined down there now and it’s worse than it’s ever leaked before! There’s even a toad in here that got washed in with all the mud from the shotty window well job! You can’t tell what was concrete flooring and tile, and what is mud and dirt at the moment it’s so bad. Been trying to call the supposed 24 hour emergency number for over an hour with no answer and no response to multiple left messages. Apparently the 24 hour number is only monitored until 8pm too according to the sales guy, who is the ONLY person I’ve been able to get a hold of tonight despite calling the main line, emergency 800 number, and the job supervisor. Like I said I HATE giving bad reviews and try to get everyone the benefit of the doubt, but I am so frustrated at this point and will definitely never work with this company again after our project is finally finished properly! Definitely do NOT recommend anyone else using them either! Photos are of window wells shortly after they were complete led and of the flooding in the basement after clean up from all the mud and water.
