These guys were great they trim and cut down a few tree the service was great from the free estimate to the excellent price we got to do the job. Everything was cleaned up and left in great shape. We will use them again to do more work

I've used J & J for years, throughout my landscape design/construction career and at my own home. J & J is always very reasonably priced, scheduling is prompt, the job site is clean, and the work is always done well. I would recommend J & J for all your tree removal, tree maintenance, and pruning needs!

J & J Tree Services recently came out and trimmed dead branches off 5 large, mature trees on our property. They were responsive, kind, reasonable and completed the work quickly and professionally. Not only did they do a great job, they let my son who was fascinated by the work participate and made him feel so included and welcome. Hands down a wonderful experience. They even went above and beyond and came back a month later to clean up a few dead branches that were missed (first time they came out there weren't any leaves so it was very hard to tell what needed to come down). Highly recommend!

J&J did excellent work for me. They're very responsive both with providing a preliminary quote and subsequent followup to schedule my tree service. Crew was timely and courteous on day of service. Work they did on my trees was great and cleanup was thorough. Well done!

We purchased a home in Naperville that needed lots of tree work. Over the last 6 months we have used J&J Tree service now for the third time. Jose has always been very prompt and professional when I have called him to come over to discuss a plan of action and provide a price quotation. Jose's team always arrived on time, did quality work, were flexible when I requested slight differences to our plan and they always cleaned up the job site before departing. Having used J&J Tree service three times I can confidently recommend them to anyone who's looking for quality tree work at a reasonable price. Update May 2, J & J Tree Service did a great job on some additional work on the trees in our front yard. J&J has been an integral part of the landscape transformation or our 1950's ranch home. They did a fantastic job on all the heavy duty tree work. We look forward to working with Jose and his crew at J&J Tree Service on any tree work we may have in the future. I highly recommend them! J&J has consistently done a wonderful job with both tree removal and planting. Over the past few years, we have had 3 trees removed and stumps ground (both small and large trees) as well as a new larger tree planted. Consultation and communication has been extremely easy, and the crew arrived on time for each service. Pricing has been very reasonable. We highly recommend J&J.

We have had J&J out many times in the past to remove trees and also tree pruning. They are always on time and very efficient when doing their work. Jose is great to work with and to make sure you are satisfied before the team leaves.

Jose and his crew were AMAZING! Not only did they show up earlier than their quoted time, but they were meticulous in cleaning up everything. I got 3 quotes for tree trimming and they were the best. Very reasonable, friendly, and professional.

We had such a fantastic experience with J & J Tree Service. I filled out the form on a Saturday and Jose came to see the job the next day (would have come same-day but I missed his call). Our job was done Thursday of that same week!

We had about .3 acres that needed land clearing - it was completely overgrown with buckthorn, honeysuckle, Carolina creeper and other invasive species. Additionally, we tried starting the project on our own and added quite a bit of mess with downed trees and brush piles.

The team arrived at 7:30 and were done by 4! Land cleared, stumps ground and clean up completed.

They were very friendly and professional - I literally saw them running past the window with full trees on their shoulders to keep the job moving fast.

In addition to the main work we wanted done, the team went above and beyond to clear dead branches on remaining trees.

I cannot recommend J&J Tree Services enough. Jose & his crew were awesome! Their quote was really competitive with quick turn around times. They knew exactly what needed to be done to get our trees trimmed to insurance company standard and, then, finished trimming each tree to make it healthy even our huge old maple. It's the best its looked in years!

Jose and J & J Tree Services are literally the best. This fall, we had a big old maple in the back yard that needed to come down (the bark was just falling off) - my neighbor can attest to this, lol. I called on a Sunday, talked to Jose on Monday, he came out to look at it and give me a quote and some advice, and he and his tree ninjas came out and took down, hauled away, and cleaned up the tree!

They came back and did the stump as soon as JULIE had a chance to come and flag it (it was very close to the electrical boxes). José and I talked about them coming back in the spring to replace the tree and I knew for a fact that I wouldn’t have to follow up because they are always so on top of it. Lo and behold, two weeks ago, Jose texted me with recommendations for several types of tree I could put in, based on our discussion in the fall.

I picked the hardest one to find (go figure!) and he searched 10 different tree farms to find me an absolutely gorgeous 8’ Jane Magnolia that his crew installed in my yard today. His crew is quick, tidy, and so cheerful and kind!

They’re such a great company, Jose is such a wonderful person, and they do a lot of work in our neighborhood. On a more community-focused note, I know for a fact that Jose has had his crew help out with smaller projects (removing fallen branches that are nearby if they are out here on a job, things like that) just because he’s a great guy and he and his team care about community.

I know I’ve gotten long and a little mushy, but just wanted to share my gratitude (and recommendation!) for a great local business.

The crew at our house today were amazing from start to finish.

Safety was clearly a top priority throughout the entire process. They worked efficiently while making sure everything was done carefully and correctly. I was so impressed with the cleanup. When they finished, our yard looked great — you would never know such a big job had just been completed. We will recommend J and J to friends and neighbors. Very reasonable price as well.

Jose and his crew did an incredible job removing our 120 year old Elm tree. They were safe, ensured our house sustained no damage, efficient, and so very kind. We are grateful for their skill and expertise in tree removal.

We had a lovely experience with J&J Tree Services. Everyone was very kind and thoughtful. They provided the best price for the job of those quotes we received and the job was completed quickly with the area well cleaned after. The only negative was having a week delay between getting the quote and accepting it to being able to schedule. That being said, we were seen the day after we heard about scheduling, and when we reached out we always heard back promptly. Overall, for the price, the kindness and care in the job, J&J was definitively the best choice!

Did fine work, but communication could've been better. Mainly I'm disappointed that they not check in with us before starting the job, which would have eliminated the miscommunication.
