nobody at this company cares and its a waste of your time to call if you are a individual working with Ameren to get JF to fix your meter - its been 1 year and 6 months - good luck charlie

This Company is not friendly to the public, customers or the employees! It used to be a small company and treated people with respect.
As the time of this company grew so did there egos. They work harder to care what is best for them and less on the general principal of the outside world that they are on there way to a downfall. -
OUTSTANDING is all I can say. They helped me out of a bind in SUPER fast time. Thank you so much , you are a lifesaver. Everyone I dealt with was BEYOND AMAZING!!!
-
You can tell they're good by their attention to detail

All the way from Tampa Florida we salute you guy and thank you for the service provided on restoring the electricity after Hurricane Milton. Thanks once again!!

Driver of license plate 520205 white truck from this company speeding and run stop sign in Lombard and almost hit me.
-
Stormed snapped our power line to the transformer. Reported the break, and these guys were out in just a few hours. Repaired the lines and had power restored an hour sooner that predicted.

While replacing utility poles in Panama, IL, these guys just straight take my telecommunications line off my house, with no knock at the door or note on the door knob or any notification at all. Not cool, bro.
-
They made a hole in front of my house for a temporary pole. The pole came out and they filled it in, which lasted until the first rain storm. Now there is a 4 to 5-foot hole waiting for someone to fall into. Called them to report it and all they did was flag it off. Two weeks later still not filled in yet.

I want to thank your company for coming to labelle Florida and helping restore the power here after hurricane irma. It is amazing how willingly you put your lives on hold to come here to help us. Thank you from the bottom of my heart... keep up the great work and be safe

They block the intersection at Dickson St and N 2nd St in downtown St Louis every morning while they hook up to the city's fire hydrant to put water in their trucks. Not sure how legal that is, but it is very inconvenient for anyone who wants to go through that intersection.
-
If they ask to cut part of your tree and say “don’t worry we will clean it up”, don’t believe them. It’s been over two weeks and they left a bunch of my tree on the lawn. Even called twice and still nothing. I should not have to clean up their mess.

They have been doing work in my neighborhood on Electric Poles. They are attempting to replace the one in front of my house at the moment. We'll doing so the had left unfixed holes in my yard due to them dropping there big drill in it. And leaving with fixing it.

I would like to thank J.F Electric for their excellent service. I live in St. Petersburg, Florida and due to Hurricane IRMA I was one of the many that was affected. My Power went out on Sunday 09/10/2017 and was restored on Wednesday 9/13/2017, they had well over seven trucks there to assist. I'd truly like to thank them for coming from Edwardsville Il to help, those guys really take pride in what they do. They were there from Sun up to sun down to get my power restored and for that I am grateful. I know many will complain about the negative and the amount of time it took and is taking to restore power but those guys are AWESOME. I truly would like to thank them again from the bottom of my heart, your company has some great guys.. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you to the president and vice president of the company as well for allowing them to come all the way down here to assist Duke Energy. You guys are truly a blessing!!

Was almost hit by one of their trucks on Ringer road this morning, they were driving partially in my lane. License plate P1214126

Not sure about the quality of their work but 1 employee of theirs is very rude. He was blocking an alley and
#1 had room on the street to park and do the job
#2 had a couple chances to be nice and move his truck and let 2 vehicles get by
#3 was very rude when I asked if he could move so we could get by (the other car managed to turn around in the alley and leave) only would have taken a few minutes of his time.
#4 when he finished took his time leaving and nearly hit my car trying to pass me in the alley instead of backing out of the alley.
Here is where the company earned this star...I called the company after getting the name off the truck. The receptionist was very helpful. I called 3 times twice leaving a message with my phone # (no response from the 2 gentlemen). The 3rd time she stayed on the line with me and apologized afterwards for his actions. Thank you to her. -
After 24 hrs of no power, your company came out on a hot Saturday, and worked diligently to get the electric in my neighborhood back up and running after a storm hit the area hard on Friday. Thank you for coming out and restoring power to our area! Your crew were life savers!!! Thank you!!!

J.F. Electric has been working on replacement of overhead power lines near our business and their safety and quality record has been terrible. First, hey hit one of our buildings with a truck and refused to repair or pay for repair. Next they nearly killed one their own employees by causing a transformer to fall from the air and starting a fire on the ground. This caused the entire street to lose power for an entire weekday. Lastly, in a separate incident, they snapped a power line, causing it to swing down into the road and making us lose power again. Calls to the owner and to the "safety director" have not been returned. Not only are they responsible for physical damage and lost productivity, their work has serious potential to hurt or kill people.

I live in Clearwater and was hit by Hurricane Irma. Days later after no power, I came home to check for power. And there were 5 of JF Electrical trucks on my street. And my lights were on!
These guys drove 3 days from getting power on in TX after Hurricane Harvey!
Amazing! -
The linemen from the St. Louis branch are extremely hard workers. I was without power for 13 days here in Cedar Rapids, Iowa due to 140mph winds. These guys worked 14-18 hours a day without complaining and never showed signs of slowing down even though you know they were tired. My hats off to the J.F. Electric guys who got our power back up and going. I would highly recommend this company

I would highly recommend JF Electric. They were out here within 30 minutes of me calling and got my power back on within a few hours. A tree hit my power line and tore the power line through my roof all the way down to my basement. They had to rebuild all of the exterior and some of my the interior electrical. They were very professional while being personable. It was a stressful situation for me since it was 100 degrees outside on a Friday afternoon when I called them but they put my mind at ease and got the job done right.
