Marks Teee Service did a great job cutting down the trees and trimming others..they did a good job cleaning up after their work and all of the workers were very pleasant and friendly...we have nothing bad to say about their work as they accomplished all of their work order ss promised.

Had some ash bores and a few pines with some disease and Mel their arborist treated them all and the cost was ridiculously lower than I expected and I’m not going to lose them. They are very ethical with regard to the trees health itself with regard to trimming versus removal.

I made the call to ask for service. The conversation was fine, so I thought. The gentleman said he would stop over Friday to view the job. No one came over. I double checked my ring camera to be sure I didn't miss him. Also, I stayed at home around the house to be sure I didn't miss him. There many other things I might have done today if I hadn't been waiting for him. I don't understand why people do this. How hard is it to say, you live to far or no I can't do the job?

We had a 45-year-old Japanese maple tree in our front yard (one of two) whose limbs were falling out of the tree and landing everywhere (including on our cars). My wife and I checked with several companies. One wouldn't touch it at all. Another company would have left a stump nearly six feet tall in our front yard. Mark's offered to not only remove the tree and grind the stump to the ground, but also trim the other tree to remove dead limbs for less than the cost one company would have charged for leaving the six-foot stump. They arrived at eight o'clock Monday morning--and by eleven o'clock the tree was gone, the stump was ground to the soil, and the other tree was trimmed so that any chance of falling limbs was all but eliminated. They worked quickly, they were professional, they cleaned up all the mess--and advised us the tree they removed was infested with carpenter ants, which we are working on now. In fact, I have already told two friends of mine to call you. Mark's is not the cheapest, nor the most expensive--but they are the best!

These men work very efficiently together. Each appeared to have a job, if uncertain about something, they worked it out together. They protected my yard from the equipment, cleaned up all the left over debris and leaves. Took care not to damage my neighbors property. When the tree fell, it hit a bush that was very near by. There is an arborist that works with the crew, he was the actual climber. He checked all the near but plants, shrubs. He took great care in trimming areas that were compromised so there was no real damage. I wish I could have him trim all my stuff! I will definitely have Marks Tree Service back for some large branch remodel on other old trees.

I called Marks Tree Trim & Removal to discuss a small project in St. Louis County but did not realize he is located in Edwardsville, IL. He called back promptly and because it would not be practical to travel for the job, he quite helpfully provided me with name/number of a local company he knows well and trusts. He also spent time asking questions about what had already been done, etc. He was knowledgeable, professional and very helpful. I appreciate the kindness of not just quickly determining the job wasn't for him -- but instead, spending time to walk thru possible solution. Marks Tree Service did a great job removing the tree from the side of our house. I was concerned that the equipment needed to remove the tree would damage the lawn. They took the necessary precaution to protect the lawn while removing the tree.

A few weeks ago Mark's Tree Service was removing & grinding some tree's at my neighbors home. I know my neighbor is very picky about who he hires to do his yard services with so I walked over & met the owner Mike & asked him if he trimmed bushes & he said yes & did a walk around & gave me what I thought was a very reasonable bid. I needed 6 bushes removed & a heavy trimming of all my bushes which is landscaped around the entire perimeter of my 3000 sq. foot home. This was a job that was just too much work for my wife and me to handle with our battery powered equipment and we had let it go far too long. Because of heavy rain Mike was very direct that his tree service was his main business but he had the expertise & was also branching out to do shrub trimming & removal services and while he was doing my bid he immediately had two of his crew come over & they immediately removed 4 of the 6 bushes that I wanted done with the job. The heat was coming soon & I told Mike that I may get somebody else since I already scheduled other companies to bid on my job & he said to just call him & let us know & not to worry about paying me for the 4 bushes they removed. After they completed the neighbors job I received the call from his scheduler & we worked out a day & time & to the minute his crew arrived on time. His crew leader remembered my name & said he also remembered what I wanted done but insisted that we walk my landscaping just to make sure. The crew worked together like a well rehearsed orchestra & even though it was very hot they just stayed on the task at hand & never took a break. After they were close to finished I was asked to come out & inspect their work & i am very particular & wanted them to trim everything tighter & with a smile the crew leader just said yes. I was apologetic because I know I am picky & the crew leader said no worries that is what you are paying us for. No worries! I was asked to come out once more & the entire crew & owner Mike were cleaning up the plant debris I was very pleased with their finished trimming & bush removal work. The crew was very professional, well mannered & polite, hard working & friendly as well. Their clean up was impeccable & their price was the lowest bid I received & they were on the job 2 weeks before any other company had even tentatively estimated that they would get to my job. This is a superior company to any other landscaping maintenance company I ever dealt with over the years by leaps & bounds. There were no surprises or up-charges like I've had experienced with other companies & even though my trees could use some pruning they only asked if I was doing it myself or if they could help.I only need lower branches pruned & I knew my wife & me could do that ourselves. Excellent company with an exceptionally friendly owner and kind and well mannered workers. They worked like a well oiled machine & they were real team players & I'd not hesitate to have them back again this fall for trimming my bushes as well as for any tree needs I may need in the future.

Marks was contracted to do our church lot in Maryland Heights MO in March. They cut down numerous trees, removed the stumps, many bushes and brush piles. They arrived on time. They got the work done in a very quick professional manner and cleaned everything up! We were very impressed! I will use them on my own house when needed. Greg

Our HOA had a very sick tree that was in danger of falling. We took several bids and Mark's was the lowest. But that doesn't mean they did a shoddy job. On the contrary, they were very efficient and left the site neat and clean. Prior to the removal, Jake, the office manager, kept in touch with me about working our job into the schedule. I would use them again and recommend them for any tree work needed.

These guys are the best.
I've had them come out a few times over the years for trimming and tree removals. I have always been impressed by their initial suggestions, courtesy, work efficiency, cleanup. They will work within your budget.
Top notch tree service.

I had just moved into my new home and there was a VERY dead tree in the front yard. I called around and Mark was able to give me a quote for both tree AND stump removal, for several hundred dollars cheaper than other companies in the area had quoted me for just tree removal! His team was even able to squeeze me into their schedule earlier because I was nervous about a storm that was coming in the next few days. They were very professional, very timely, and I very much appreciated all their hard work in knocking the tree down safely as well as cleaning the mess. My yard looks so much better without a dead tree in the middle of it, and I no longer have to worry about it falling on my house and hurting someone.

Mark's tree service not only gave us the best deal on a tree removal, they worked with our schedule and did a superior job. The tree was massive and was surrounded by obstacles that had many other companies running away. The team was very nice and left the area as if no tree ever existed. Very impressed with the final product.

Recently, Mark's Tree Service came out to my house to cut down and remove a tree. I live outside of their normal area that they usually operate in but they came out and did a fantastic job. Very professional and friendly. I don't know if they always do it but one of the guys also picked up the dog poop that was in the yard. I wouldn't even consider calling anyone else for my tree service needs! Simple the BEST!
