I'm extremely dissatisfied with my experience with King's home services. The installation of my furnace and A/C unit in October 2020 was a disaster from the start. Not only did the humidifier leak and cause significant damage to my hardwood door and floor, but the installers later claimed it was a "terrible" system that should never have been installed.

Despite my persistence, they refused to install a whole-house humidifier, instead telling me I couldn't make it work. After multiple visits from different technicians, I finally had to find a solution myself. It's unacceptable that a company can so thoroughly botch an installation and then expect customers to fix the problems themselves.

Things didn't get much better when my A/C unit needed maintenance. The technician told me the freon was low and needed topping off, which they did. However, when I had my unit serviced by another company, they said I was still low on freon. Reluctantly, I called King back, expecting them to take responsibility for their mistake.

The tech who came out finally identified a potential issue with the copper connector in my A/C unit, but couldn't pinpoint where the leak was coming from. The solution requires additional testing, which will cost me more money. Given that this equipment is barely over five years old and I'm already experiencing these problems, it's infuriating.

Do yourself a favor and stay far away from King's home services. They seem to install faulty equipment with no problem charging customers for the issues they create. The company's president claims to stand by "giving people an honest shake" and doing a good job at a fair price. Unfortunately, their employees are clearly not following those principles.

Todd arrived on schedule and was courteous. He didn't sugarcoat anything - even though my furnace isn't old, he identified some potential issues. His professionalism impressed me. I'd confidently suggest them to others if needed.
