Our rep Jorge came out and did a great job analyzing our issue, advising options, explaining the process and the problem causing action. We will have him out again this year for an evaluation and definitely make a recommendation for others to call on his/ this company's service!

I first called Jorge when my attic fan cover blew off. They showed up quickly and while this was not a service in their wheelhouse, he covered the open hole temporarily and recommended another provider who was a roofer. While up there he noticed a lot of issues with our chimney. We hired him in the Spring to fix and he was very thorough and reasonable. Extremely friendly and trustworthy. I highly recommend them.

Joel from Safe Fire recently came and restored the main chimney on my 3 story house and did a fantastic job. The service he provided was carried out with great care and precision. They were responsive to all of my inquiries and the customer service they provided was amazing. My house is over 100 years old and I was very concerned about getting anything repaired, but their expertise and attention to detail gave me complete confidence in their abilities. I will definitely be using Safe Fire again in the future whenever I need any Fireplace or Chimney services, and I highly recommend them to anyone in need of Chimney Maintenance!

After getting several estimates, we decided to use Safe Fire Chimney for service to our current home, our house flip, and again hired them to clean & inspect fireplaces at my parent's home in Palatine as well. Both 'Jorges' at this company are awesome to work with, each gave me the time to explain our needs, address our concerns and clarified any outstanding issues. I also selected them for service because they were more thorough with their initial inspection and only advised repairs that were needed, where some other businesses added unnecessary work to our estimate. We felt very at peace and safe, after using Safe Fire Chimney. We will continue to use them to service our fireplaces and will continue to recommend them to friends and neighbors.

Jorge and Joel came out to inspect and clean our gas fireplace today. They had called to let me know when they were coming. They turned on the gas and checked the important parts and showed me how to operate the gas fireplace. Although the fireplace worked and functioned, Jorge felt that another company could best take the whole mechanism apart and clean and service it. I was given the information to follow up with the other company. I was not charged for this visit. These 2 gentlemen are professional, considerate, and dedicated to make sure your fireplace is safe. I highly recommend them and this company!!!

We just bought our house recently. The previous owners got a quote from Safe Fire because there were issues with the chimney. The previous owner couldn’t complete the repairs in time for the sale and opted to just credit us.

The quote was provided to me so I called Safe Fire. Jorge did a great job of explaining the issue and took me step by step through what they would do.

His explanation put me at ease and made me comfortable with the process.

We hired Safe Fire and the work to replace our firebox and repair the chimney was started exactly when Jorge said it would begin and it was done in 4 days as promised. We will now be able to enjoy a warm fire through these cold months. I highly recommend Safe Fire. They are a great team and their work is great.

We had a woodburning fireplace that was well used for 27 years. Eventually it became unusable due to a hole being burned into the firebox and a gas leak in the key. We couldn't use it at all for the last several years. Safe Fire was recommended to me by my sister and I was thinking about gas logs so I gave them a call. Best decision I ever made by far! Jorge recommended someone to fix the gas and gave us a quote for the rest of the work. We have a brand new firebox and love the gas logs we chose. The guys who came in to do the work were very friendly and professional. They explained everything they were doing and why. We felt very comfortable and informed! We are beyond happy with our new fireplace! Highly recommend!

Jorge & team did a fantastic job with installing two fireplaces for us and fixing our chimney that was cracking. They were very professional, clean, and ensured we were satisfied every step of the way. Would highly recommend them for any of your chimney/fireplace related needs!

We got our fireplace inspected and cleaned, we hadn’t used it yet since we bought the house. Jorge explained things to us about our fireplace and helped us feel more confident in using it. We got the animal guard installed on the chimney as well as some safety updates to the fireplace itself. Jorge, Joel and Billy were all very helpful and courteous, good, clean work, and they got us scheduled right away which was very appreciated because we called a different place and were given a very long wait time and some attitude from the first place we called. We finally lit our first fire tonight and it’s great! Happy we found safe fire, thank you!

I had a great experience with this company. I called about getting an estimate & Jorge came out the next day. He thoroughly explained what needed to be done in a way that could understand. I received photos and an estimate. He was able to do the job the following week. I got more photos of the finished job & it looked amazing. Another company I called never got back to me. Jorge & Safe Fire gave me excellent customer service. That alone is worth checking them out.

We would totally recommend Safe Fire Chimney & Fireplace Services. Jorge was quick to respond to our initial request for a quote to convert our wood burning fireplace into gas log. He was able to schedule the work quickly and was very thorough in answering any questions I had. Jorge and his helper did an amazing job. They even went above and beyond when painting the fireplace walls to make sure no fumes came in the house since I have animals that could have been sensitive to it. We are beyond happy with the end results. He was competitively priced, extremely professional and a pleasure to work with.

After inspecting and cleaning our fireplace/ chimney- he clearly explained why we should consider improving the Firebox, back panel, gas starter and add a guard screen outside to keep critters out. We agreed we needed this done. Jorge contacted us to follow up on this plan and even added a discounted price. Jorge is friendly, easy going, and professional.
