I first called Jorge when my attic fan cover blew off. They showed up quickly and while this was not a service in their wheelhouse, he covered the open hole temporarily and recommended another provider who was a roofer. While up there he noticed a lot of issues with our chimney. We hired him in the Spring to fix and he was very thorough and reasonable. Extremely friendly and trustworthy. I highly recommend them.

Joel from Safe Fire recently came and restored the main chimney on my 3 story house and did a fantastic job. The service he provided was carried out with great care and precision. They were responsive to all of my inquiries and the customer service they provided was amazing. My house is over 100 years old and I was very concerned about getting anything repaired, but their expertise and attention to detail gave me complete confidence in their abilities. I will definitely be using Safe Fire again in the future whenever I need any Fireplace or Chimney services, and I highly recommend them to anyone in need of Chimney Maintenance!

After getting several estimates, we decided to use Safe Fire Chimney for service to our current home, our house flip, and again hired them to clean & inspect fireplaces at my parent's home in Palatine as well. Both 'Jorges' at this company are awesome to work with, each gave me the time to explain our needs, address our concerns and clarified any outstanding issues. I also selected them for service because they were more thorough with their initial inspection and only advised repairs that were needed, where some other businesses added unnecessary work to our estimate. We felt very at peace and safe, after using Safe Fire Chimney. We will continue to use them to service our fireplaces and will continue to recommend them to friends and neighbors.

Jorge and Joel came out to inspect and clean our gas fireplace today. They had called to let me know when they were coming. They turned on the gas and checked the important parts and showed me how to operate the gas fireplace. Although the fireplace worked and functioned, Jorge felt that another company could best take the whole mechanism apart and clean and service it. I was given the information to follow up with the other company. I was not charged for this visit. These 2 gentlemen are professional, considerate, and dedicated to make sure your fireplace is safe. I highly recommend them and this company!!!

We just bought our house recently. The previous owners got a quote from Safe Fire because there were issues with the chimney. The previous owner couldn’t complete the repairs in time for the sale and opted to just credit us. The quote was provided to me so I called Safe Fire. Jorge did a great job of explaining the issue and took me step by step through what they would do. His explanation put me at ease and made me comfortable with the process. We hired Safe Fire and the work to replace our firebox and repair the chimney was started exactly when Jorge said it would begin and it was done in 4 days as promised. We will now be able to enjoy a warm fire through these cold months. I highly recommend Safe Fire. They are a great team and their work is great.

We had a woodburning fireplace that was well used for 27 years. Eventually it became unusable due to a hole being burned into the firebox and a gas leak in the key. We couldn't use it at all for the last several years. Safe Fire was recommended to me by my sister and I was thinking about gas logs so I gave them a call. Best decision I ever made by far! Jorge recommended someone to fix the gas and gave us a quote for the rest of the work. We have a brand new firebox and love the gas logs we chose. The guys who came in to do the work were very friendly and professional. They explained everything they were doing and why. We felt very comfortable and informed! We are beyond happy with our new fireplace! Highly recommend!
